I had the great opportunity finding this gold nugget of a company by mistake. I had a hard time trying to find a part for my water well, and after speaking to my co-worker he advised me to check with Burney True Hardware Store. After arriving to the store, I spoke to Jim and Shawn, and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I could not believe how fast they were able to give me what I needed and sent me on my way happy. Great company, Great people and Great service!!!!!!!

Burney hardware really helped me out. I'm a fireplace contractor who really needed a damper plate for a fireplace urgently. The one I brought to the customers house was the wrong size and I was far away from my warehouse of spare parts.Thankfully Burneys metal shop was able to work with me and manufacture exactly what I needed right before closing time. I was able to complete my work and the customer was extremely happy with the result. Thank you, I could not have done it without Burney's knowledgeable and accommodating staff.

Discovering this Burney Hardware Co. store by chance, 50 miles away from home, was a fortunate accident. Now, it's not just a hardware and plumbing store, but a weekend date destination for my wife and me, despite being 50 miles away. While browsing the aisles, I couldn't resist taking home a '100 years and going strong' coffee mug, which adds a touch of history to our mornings. To complete the experience, we found a charming apron for my lovely wife. Which I would recommend she wear at all times during the quiet hours of early morning or late at night as she prepares supper or breakfast, not only adding elegance to her cooking but also providing endless amusement for me.The employees some local, and one from Arkansas were all amazing, they treated me and my wife like family, I can't wait to return.

The employees at this store treat you like a human being (compared to Lowes) and are all friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable in their areas. Everyone that I ran into asked if I needed help. You could walk around Lowes for an hour, and no one will ask you for any help. The prices are also fairly reasonable. Will be back again!

I called on 6/9/23 to schedule an appointment for a recall and a service on my Scag Tiger Cat 2. Spoke with Chad and was told to drop it off Monday 6/11/23 and I would have it back the next day by lunchtime on at most 2 days. I said that was fine. Haven’t heard anything from them and called 6/15/23 to check on the status. Was told I would be 2 weeks out for service but that they could do the recall today. So I said do just the recall and I’ll come get it. If that was truly the case then why was I told different information? Then they call me back within 30 minutes and said the recall was done and I could come pick it up. I have done business with them for sometime and never had a problem but this is unacceptable. From now on I’ll go to another dealer. Went to pick it up and they lost my key that they asked for when I dropped it off! I’ll never deal with them again!

I will never use another hardware store. I had an issue on a Saturday during a holiday weekend with a piece of rental equipment that could’ve left it stranded the entire weekend. Jim, Sandy and Randy went above and beyond to help get it back running and make it right. I can see why they’ve been in business for so long. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Kristy was amazing this morning helping me locate plants that are super difficult to find this time of year. They had everything I needed and more! Thanks for everything Kristy!!

Plenty of staff to help you find what you need and knowledgeable about the materials they do have. They have a good selection of the odds and ends that you may find yourself needing to complete a project plus many items to start one as well. A smaller store so unlike the big box stores you don't find yourself wandering endlessly for hours in search of an item and exhausted by the end. Good pricing and I especially like that you can buy nails and other similar items by the 1/4 lb or larger. They have a gardening building plus landscaping and farm items.

We were helped by a kind gentleman named Phil who knows about everything you need to know about the Hardware store, who specializes in what that can point you in the right direction, and is an outstanding Electrician! Burney hardware is the place to go for great service, tools, household items, and pretty much anything else you think up. If they don't have it they may order for you or kindly direct you to a source to meet your needs. I purchased 2" square cut nails on custom order for a flooring project. The nails were discontinued at one manufacturer so they sourced them from another. Personally, Id get frustrated seeking out manufacturers. Extremely happy with service every time we go in. Highly recommended especially to those DIY'ers.

Almost always has the same things lowes does minus the lumber. But unlike Lowe's there's always someone there to help you, and they are always super helpful and friendly! Plus you spend 1/5 of the time in the store just walking and looking aimlessly!

I went to pick up some parts that broke on on some of our saws and they had everything we needed to get up and running. I picked up a couple extra saw blades and they were just as affordable as the big blue box if not cheaper. I had a couple questions and the staff obviously knew what they were talking about. I was able to get in get what I wanted and get out in 5 minutes and this was my first time in the store so I didn't know the layout.

Jimmy Smith saved the day and helped me out tremendously. I had to replace a 40 year old shower faucet and he got the correct replacement parts and also gave me thorough instructions on how to install it properly. I am so thankful and pleased with his expertise. Jimmy rocks! I'll definitely be a returning customer in the future.

Burney Hardware has an incredible hardware inventory of hard to find pieces. It's family owned but can put Lowes to shame on selection. It is well organized, and has gift items, too. We drive over 30 miles to shop here. We love the place.

Absolutely the place to get hard to find parts. I needed a washer for my kitchen faucet. Burney had it for 32¢. The big box store in town had an pack of assorted, low quality, Chinese washers for over $6 and none of them fit. For me, it would have been faster just to go to Burney's first 🤦🏻‍♂️

Went there on September 13 before the hurricane hit and customers were understandably freaking out. All of the customer service reps on the floor were EXCEPTIONAL!!! I needed some help with a 100 year old kerosene lamp. I can’t remember her name (I’ll find that out after the storm) but she was absolutely amazing!! She Googled stuff for us when we couldn’t find what we needed. SHE TOOK THE TIME TO ACTUALLY PRINT OUT THE INFORMATION FROM HER GOOGLE SEARCH THAT WE NEEDED!!! Who else does that?? I’ll answer that question.......NO-ONE! Only Burney hardware. I’ll never go any place else for what I need because they were all genuinely THE BEST!!!!

I rented a mower for a day and paid $117 which was ok with that, it was a Saturday and had to return it back on Monday by 8.30am. I wasn't able to bring it by that time l called and explained l had a doctor appointment but would take it back shorty.By 1:45ish the mower was back but they over charge me. I had to pay another $117 as if l rented today the entre time.I understand there's late fees but l was only couple hours late but called them.Over all my less then a quarter lawn cost me $250 to mow.

WOW, they're the soup to nuts hardward store. I've noticed that they even have a back room where they store even more "stuff". I've never gone in there and come out empty handed. Wish I had 100K to spend there, tools would be no problem, or even a hard to find hose or nozzle for Propane connections. They also fill RV's with propane, and design and engineer various pieces of steel you can come up with out back with their glass department. Prices are very competative, and everyone knows where everything is or can point you to a specialist, (unlike Lowes). GIVE THEM SHOT!, You WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Stopped by this morning and got EXCELLENT customer service from Jim when buying a rope. If you use the directions from this site you will get completely lost call them directly to get directions. I called and spoke to a really nice woman who gave me very simple, quick, and accurate directions on how to get there. Google was trying to take me all the way into Raeford and Merchant Circle was taking me to downtown Aberdeen, which I found out they had a store there back in the 80's when I called. Would definitely use this store again because they had a TON in stock and you seriously can't beat the amazing customer service. Keep up the great job, Burneys!
