Professional, friendly, and thoughtful! Took my 1yr old Siberian cat for a trim, n he came back smelling good with no more matted hair. They even gave him a welcome kit with treats n toy! Very thoughtful to take photos for my cat during the service, since owners are not allowed to stay in the salon.

Love Walter’s Per Styles. I just started bringing my fur baby and her experience was great. My girl is typically very nervous and will pee when picked up but Marshall did an amazing job with her. Definitely trying their other services.

Walter's team did an excellent job. My long-haired cat had some knots, and they expertly groomed and bathed my cat, returning a beautiful and well-conditioned feline companion. The concierge and staff were also very friendly and promptly addressed our questions. Highly recommend.

Beyond highly recommend Walter’s Pet Styles. I have an Old English Sheepdog and it’s so hard to find a groomer that (1) knows how to cut their hair and (2) can deal with how difficult they can be to groom. The team was so kind to my dog and gave her an incredible haircut. They also sent me home with Polaroid pictures of her getting groomed and a bag of goodies. 10/10 recommend.

We love everything about Walter's! My Maltese puppy started going to Walter's as a grooming client before he turned 6 months old. Naturally, he was extremely nervous about the grooming routine (and I was a nervous Mommy bringing him), but Lindsay, Marshall and the team immediately took the time to get to know him and make him feel comfortable. They are so careful with my puppy and have really gotten to know all of his fun quirks! We became a daycare client as he got a bit bigger and the whole experience has been so valuable for his socialization and development. I would recommend Walter's to anyone in the neighborhood looking for a reliable groomer and/or doggie daycare, with a staff who take the time to get to know your fluffy family member on an individual basis. Harry Joe loves his buddies at Walter's!

I am beyond impressed by Walters. I took my kiddo there for the first time and they were so friendly and professional. Then they sent us home with free new toys, Walters merch, a little report card for how my baby did, and Polaroids of his throughout the grooming process. It was amazing. That’s a top notch customer experience.

Update: it’s hilarious really how they won’t accept or acknowledge feedback but are the first to dish it out.———————————————————————It is my understanding that you open a doggie day care first and foremost because you love dogs. All kinds of dogsDefinitely not the case here. They want every dog in their day care to fit in to a very narrow behavior pattern and if the poor dog doesn’t that’s it. They make the owner feel horrible for having a pet!They literally say things like, ‘we had a team meeting to discuss his behavior last night’, ‘bulldog in a china shop’ etc. Makes you feel like you have an errant horrible child. And maybe that’s why they do itA dog or animal lover will understand and know how to handle all kinds of dogs. They do not and hence their day care is not worth it at all.A horrid experience and an unprofessional group of people trying to masquerade as dog lovers when they are a bunch of amateursThey’re grooming services are decent though but I obviously will not be using that now. They have not had the courtesy to respond to my email in any case. So that’s that.

We quite literally can't take our french bulldog, Ace, anywhere else for daycare! When we moved to the UES from Murray Hill we tried other places and they do not compare. Ace has been going to Walter's since he was a puppy, we even commute downtown with him during the work week and take him to Walter's. We know Ace is given lots of love and attention at Walter's and cared for like he's theirs. The daycare hours, packages and flexibility make it so easy for us to know that pretty much no matter what time of day, or day of the week, we have care for Ace when we need it. Lindsay and Marshall and the entire Walter's staff are wonderful. I wish they'd just open an uptown location so it would be closer to home!!

Took my 4 month old kitty for boarding. It was her first time and i was very worried about her, the staff seemed very good with the animals.When i was away i waiting for an update of my kitty which i didn't get. I had to email and called them to get the 2 updates i got (she did boarding for a week)When i picked up my kitty she was good. Gained a bit weight from not being too active but was overall good.Next time i would appreciate the daily updates.

The team at Walter’s Pet Styles did an above amazing job with our puppy. We received a gift bag with pictures of her being groomed, several discounts, a personalized handwritten note and a water bottle. Our girl also received free waste bags (that easily open!), a leash dispenser and water cup to attach to her leash. We couldn’t be happier! Thank you so much Marshall, Lindsay, Destiny and Walter.

I LOVEEE Walters!! I am a pet parent to a 5 year old rescue terrier, and i'm highly protective, nervous one at that. I had taken him for grooming and decided to enroll in daycare. It is the best choice I have made for us. The attendants are so caring, my pup leaps into their arms and showers them with kisses upon arrival. They pay individual attention to him, and notice minor details to give to me each day. I am so impressed with the level of care, I know he is in good hands. They return him to me exhausted, I am grateful. We had "trial-Ed" at a nearby daycare before enrolling, the contrast was startling and I was left with such a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't take the chance of sending my baby anywhere else.

I'd like to tell my personal story of how they go above and beyond. I've never had a dog before and rescued one over a year ago. Walter's had this great deal of just a wash, toe clipping etc for 35.00 plus tip. I was very specific, did not want my little Asta cage dried nor put in a cage til she was picked up which they complied with. My second visit the lovely Lindsay pointed out that the groomer noticed a lump on her side that had not been there before and I should have it checked out. I did and it turned out it was nothing. BUT when doing a thorough check up on her body, it was discovered she had breast cancer. If they had not given me the heads up on the lump, I would have waited til a year for her yearly appointment and the cancer probably would have spread. They literally saved her life.

My dog went for a nail trim and teeth cleaning. No temp reading or anything at the door. We’ll have to go and redo his nails at another groomers.They didn’t clip all of his nails and now he’s walking around lopsided. Must’ve done about two toes on each paw :(They also were not filed down and he’s leaving painful scratches every time he comes to us. Not worth the price, could definitely get a smoother nail trim done elsewhere.

These folks are great. I take my dog for grooming and drop-in daycare, and I have always been thrilled. She's Havanese, and she looks great when she's done. A neighbor and I were admiring each other's dogs, and he guessed, "Walters. Has to be." The home bathing I've done with my dog has been an ordeal since forever, so I know she shouldn't be pre-disposed to love the process. Nevertheless, she is over the moon when we go there -- trying to break through the latched gate to the daycare. Their prices are competitive.

We just brought our Lagotto Romagnolo, Arlo, here for a full groom today. The service is more than we are used to paying for in another city, but Walter’s was recommended by another Lagotto owner as being very good at the breed cut. We were so impressed!!! The staff are lovely and kind. We didn’t hear frantic barking from the grooming area and Arlo was returned to us calmer than he has been at other groomers. The cut was awesome and they did an amazing job cleaning his ears out, which were pretty gross. That alone was worth the price. We will be bringing Arlo here again and again while we live in the city. So happy we found Walter’s!!! Thank you🤗

I took my Shi-Tzu in to be groomed here. The price was far more than I've ever paid to have my little guy groomed ($108). Before I left him there, I specifically asked whether they would express his glands and they said "Of course, we always do that." I picked him up some time later fully expecting him to look better than he ever has for the price I paid. Unfortunately, he didn't. A $45 grooming has been better however, that's not the end of the story. A few days later my dog developed an abscess on his bum. I took him to the vet and was advised that whoever groomed him last either did not express his glands or they didn't do it properly. I had to pay $250 for the vet visit and medicate my poor little guy for a week. My advice: DON'T BRING YOUR PET HERE. They overcharge for very average haircuts and they don't do what they say they will.

I started going there over 13 years ago . my dogs love it there! always want to go there ; the staff there is great , it's really hard to find a place where u an trust people. with your pets ; the staff loves animals. it's not just there job , always up to par . They were very nice to her and followed my instructions keeping her on the grooming floor and not putting her in a cage while waiting. I asked a million question and looked into where dogs are kept before service. I was happy with there haircut

This is, hands down, the best grooming salon in Manhattan (and I have tried many)!. They take great care with each of the pets and Walter is quite the coiffeur: meticulous, careful and experienced.

I walked 10 blocks in the rain to buy something that only this store has. And the doors were closed. I called the number on the door the guy in side said that they are only doing daycare on Mondays and I can't buy nothing. So I asked if this is Advertised and he said no it's just something that you have to know"it's just something that you have to know." Who run a business like this

They cut off the end of our dog's tail! They then advised us not to take him to a vet. When we did take him to a vet (for three separate required visits) they refused to pay. They seemed to think that it was very minor, when the vet was concerned about him loosing the tail, and bone damage!They were difficult and argumentative about everything, and don't have any concept of customer service or taking responsibility.Stay Away!

I scheduled a first time grooming appointment for my dog. I was running late from an earlier doctors appointment and called ahead, they specifically told me that if I got there by 2 :30 pm they would still take us so we rushed in.I arrived at 2:30 but then was told that they were too busy and could not take me. I felt like I wasted my time, but to make matters worse they still charged me $163 to my credit card and refuse to refund me.I cannot speak to their work because we were never able to take advantage of it, but I can speak to their business practice which is terrible and I caution any potential customers to stay away for this reason.
