They always take the best care of my Shih tsu! I have tried and tested many groomers over the years, and there have been very few where my girl leaves wagging her tail and happy every time. Highly recommend!

I would like to rate 0 stars if possible! Firstly the haircut was not done as I had hoped and secondly the skill of the personnel was so poor that it was unimaginable. My dog got a razor shave on his genitals and it just scabbed over today. My dog is feeling very uncomfortable and has been licking it with his tongue. My dog and I are both in a lot of pain!

Towne House Grooming is excellent and I would highly recommend them. My standard poodle went for her first appointment and she looks amazing. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. They were incredible with the shaving and detailed, tedious work required for her paws and muzzle. They understood exactly what I was looking for with her cut and executed it perfectly. Additionally, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. I have already scheduled our next visit.

Excellent groomers who are kind and patient with the dogs and really listen to what customers want. This is the only place I’ve ever brought my little spitz where they haven’t over-shorn her, yet they managed to strip her coat for summer and trim up her foot, tail, and ear fringes perfectly. She came home soft, beautiful and completely un-traumatized.

My dog hadn’t been professionally groomed in seven months and had a few mats around her neck that she wouldn’t let me comb out. The team at Towne House was really friendly and managed to not only get the mats out without shaving my pup (a huge win); they also made her look incredibly well-groomed. Price-wise it’s similar to most groomers in Manhattan, and IMO worth every penny. I will definitely be bringing her back here regularly!

It was our first time at Towne House Grooming today (and first groom in NYC!) and we had an excellent experience. They came highly recommended and certainly did not disappoint. While the haircut ok, the staff friendly and the shop clean, DO NOT take your pets here. They clipped poor Truffles eye way too closely causing irritation. A $300 vet bill makes the groom a record breaking expense. You can see just how much hair they removed around her eyes and then the bottom eye lid is bright red. When asked if anything happened they denied it, but it’s much beyond some dust getting trapped in her eye on the walk home

Usually very pleased with Towne House, they've done a good job previously. This time around we were told Bella's needed a short cut because of knotting in her hair, but the shave is so close it's hurt her feet and stomach. She's not comfortable at all. She's not able to walk outside because her feet are so sore and seems anxious since her visit to TH. Normally great, but this time it feels like Bella was not treated kindly.

This morning I brought our two shitzus for a grooming. The man behind the counter was simply abrupt and rude. I explained my wife called with grooming instructions and with a huff and a puff - he dismissed my comment. He Only wanted to know which dog was which. He took my card and ran it through. I left a tip on the card. No thank you. No acknowledgement at all. Truly I only cared that he understood how my wife wanted the dogs groomed. His coldness and rude behavior left me without hope and low and behold the grooming was awful.This is only the second time in my life that I've left a bad review. Countless 5 star reviews. This one doesn't even deserve a 1 star.

The owner and her daughter could not have been nicer! I was nervous as it was my dogs first time and he’s a bit anxious. They did such a good job, and he came out happy and wagging. The owner even took him in the back again when I picked him up to take off more fur so that the hair cut was exactly what I wanted. I rarely write reviews but had to for them! This groomer is a bit far from my apartment but it was definitely worth it. I recommend!
