There racist here service is poor. People go here because it’s Convenient. Truly stores like this we need to kick out of our neighborhoods. They also have their employees and family members write reviews. The hamsters nor fish last people be aware and ALWAYS GET A RECEIPT FROM THEM NO MATTER WHAT.

Love going here, they have a variety of beautiful fishes and birds and more pets for good pricing. The workers here are very friendly and always help whenever in need. Been going here for awhile and the store is always clean and has many items and resources for pets!

The owner of the store is really helpful and will order for you stuff that is nonstandard. It is really nice to find a store where you can get everything you need for your pets and the owner is willing to order for you whatever you need!

I've been coming here for hamster food and bedding for close to 3 years and yet the service they give me is very cold and rude . You'd think if you had a customer spending money with you frequently you would be more friendly!!!!! I never am rude to them . I'm always a polite individual, who is an animal lover since childhood. I used to go to Petland on Broadway but they closed years ago . Every day after school as a child I would want to go in the pet store - all the school kids would crowd inside , I would always beg my mom to get me animals, the store owner knew your name - got my first hamster there at 7 years old .I miss that kind of neighborhood pet store. Not weird and standoffish vibes . Take me back to the good ol days

Today was my 1st time going, since the closing of Pet Land.The staff was great and helpful. I even got a chance to pick up 1 of the birds that flew to the ground.The owner was ok with me interacting with the bird. (Cool experience)I was even able to scoop bird seeds for my own birds.If you're ever around 107th St. In 3rd Ave stop on by, to The Pet Store.

I would give them a 5 but they have many days when they aren't open..its a family business and the dad is sick and elderly now..his sons are trying to run the store..they serve at the door..no entry

Went in during closing time and they were very helpful .They did not turn me away, even as they were mopping. They had cat litter box air filters, I needed. To my surprise, they had a "Cat Calming spray", for my cat's anxiety episodes. I'll be back, to purchase a carrier, and a harness. The prices are somewhat affordable.This time Mimi, my cat, is coming along, with an invite. Thank you for being here, you guys were courteous and patient. I'm a talkative person and they listened to all my concerns.They have products for pets daily care, food, treats, cages, beds, fish tanks; for cats, dogs, fishes, reptiles, birds, and small mammals.As a disabled person, I can say I was serviced in a very good manner. To my surprise, they even opened the door for me, as I was leaving the store with my roll aider- walker.They are in a great location, too.

I walked in and the cashier Isabel was exceptional!! She walked me around and have me plenty of helpful information on EVERY SINGLE ANIMAL. I asked sooo many questions and she exhibited unlimited patience. Felt like talking to an old friend. I walked out the store confidently with my new parrots. It’s a small business so absolutely the place to buy from. Say goodbye to lifeless chains and meet the animal lovers within the Harlem community. The owners are also present and hilarious people. 10/10

My go to vet supplies, under new management AWESOME!!..The staff is great knowledgeable, wide variety of pets supplies. I recently rescued a dog the staff have been helpful with training advice, and the purchasing of a crate.The atmosphere is always friendly greetings,helpful etc.

Yesterday I took my 8 year old daughter to purchase kitten food and boy was that a X rated experience. The cashier had 2 friends visiting her and they proceed to have a very graphic and inappropriate conversation. If this wasent bad enough they called over another employee (manager?) to confirm that male fluids is great skin care for girls 😳. You’d think he’d stop the conversation… nope he added on. I could not even express my anger because as I said my 8 year old was with me. If you think what I wrote in this review is inappropriate imagine being there in person with your child!!

They alright tanks are clean but they don't know where to put they cichlids..you can put peacock's and mabuna in the same tank and sell them ...smh what aquarium store does this 🤔

The convenience saved me from having to make an appointment at the vet because the vet came to Petland which made it easy for me to bring the dog to the location* service was excellent. it was quick The Waiting was very short; so I give it a four star* the price was good also.

Great customer service. The staff were friendly and so helpful. I was buying a tiny aquarium for a small goldfish and Louciano...I'm spelling his name wrong...he took it out the box and showed me how to put it together and how to maintain it.

Lots of dead fish and very little variety the store is very expensive as well. Go somewhere else.

the employees are great and the service are great i recommend this place but i don’t recommend buying bettas females and some of the fish the last 3 days i found 4 dead guppies and today all 3 female bettas died and all my water is fine all is great with my aquarium and water and size and as far as there ball pythons they are housing them together poorly with no proper humidity were they cant shed properly and they cant even tell you the sex of the ball pythons bcuz they dont know how to pop em😡
