These guys are great, but the real star of the show is the store cat, Maya, a beautiful calico cat who has the best expressions, my favorite being the look of disdain when a dog enters the store.The staff here are really nice and helpful; they don't bat an eye when I burst in a few minutes before closing due to my terrible time management skills, as they know my cat would disown me if I returned without the cat grass I faithfully buy for him once a week.Massive selection of food and treats for both cats, dogs, and all other pets you may have.

I paid $30 for dog food that’s priced $20 everywhere else. There’s also a 7 day return window for store credit or exchange, but not a full return. The employees are nice, but the products are overpriced.

I go here for my guinea pigs hay and food. They have always been so nice and welcoming and have saved me so many times when my 6 piggies go through hay so fast.

Smaller pet store offering a decent selection of the more popular dog food brands. Harnesses, collars, and other pet items available, but the selection (due to store size) is a bit limited. Prices are on the higher end, but the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and fur friends are welcome.

Stop shopping at PetsMart or Petco. This place is the best! Reasonable prices and amazing selection. The staff was so friendly as well

Me my son and my dog went in this store for the first time and it was such a plesant experience. It is a small shop. Which is great the 2 GENTELMEN THAT WORK THERE WERE awesome. I initially asked aboit the raw refrigerated dog food However i wind up buyin a rawhide bone and the guy gave me 2 gifts aka snacks for my dog Omg i appreciated it so much and my dog loves the snacks so i will be back. I need a muzzle now so i can travel on mass transit via public transportation rules aka MTA.

This shop has everything you could need and the staff is warm and so kind. They deliver at a moments notice (sorry and thank you so much!). When they heard we were adopting a kitten they added treats for her to our purchase and always make sure we’re giving her the correct food for her age.

My dog Sonny loves to go here. Mike is so friendly and knows all the dogs in the neighborhood by name. The store has a good selection, but the customer service is the best around. I have stopped ordering online as much because it is so nice to shop here.

They have a good selection of cat food and litter, including Weruva, Royal Canin, and World’s Best Litter. I also pick up the occasional fresh cat grass. I like shopping local and saying hello to the resident cat, Maya, and the staff here are always nice.

This pet store is an important staple in our neighborhood because it is the only pet supply for miles around. It's pricey, but it has to be in order to afford rent in this neighborhood and I don't want it to go anywhere. Because the prices are a little high for I mostly use it for urgent needs, which do come up regularly.

We live in the neighborhood and are thrilled to have such a great pet store locally. Pet island has a good selection of the grain free and raw cat food we use and they are happy to order anything else we need that's not in stock. And they deliver!

Don’t come here unless you want to waste your money. Over priced!!! $27 for a small box of cat litter that normally sells for $5-$8 at other stores. No returns even with receipts just store credit

This is the best shop in the lower east side. They have a great selection of food for your dogs. This might be a little expensive for some people, but again they have good quality brand food for your pets.If you are unsure of what kind of food your dog may like or want to try different products for your pets. You can find a variety of products at this location, which is why it makes it so easy to shop for your pet.Youssef is always helping me out. This is a family owned buisness and everyone is nice.I always get some free treats for my dogs to try. I have really picky dogs but these guys helped me figure out the perfect diet for my dogs. I recommend this place if you live near the lower east. I travel almost an hour just to get my dogs food from here. They make sure I have a big bag of food for my dogs before we run out.

I bought a bag of prescription feline food. I normally go to my vet but this was located closer so I decided to give them a try. The food was expired and stale and I had to throw the entire bag out. At about $30 for prescription food, that's not cheap. I would not trust their inventory.The staff I met were nice and helpful. It's too bad selling me old cat food ruined the experience of shopping here.

Went here today with my African American husband and daughter for turtle items . We were trying to decide between food / supplies and considering we never make spontaneous purchases without being fully educated we were back there for a while checking everything out (reading labels and googling ) . The gentleman kept following us around . Literally , it was the most uncomfortable thing , DIDNT ask if we needed help just stood there making us feel like we were out of place, anytime any one of us moved they were behind our heels. I took a little walk around to see if there were more options/ tanks / different things aside from what they had in the back and low and behold I was followed by one of the workers !!!! I was so shocked . There were people of other races who came in and didn’t once have to deal with being followed , didn’t even look their way but this gentleman continued to follow us around !!! I can’t believe this actually happened to us , especially in NYC where it is so diverse !! Since we are new to the neighborhood it’s so disappointing to know that we can’t even support this local shop because they are assuming we will be stealing or just making us as people of color uncomfortable. Instead of reaching out to talk with us about the products or usual customer service tactics they made a horrible and humiliating assumption that was just not okay .Please do better by your customers ! Especially POC , let’s all be kind to each other . Daily life is hard already no need to add on additional biases .

This is a small pet supply store located on the L.E.S. with a large selection of various foods, treats and toys.Store is pretty small but well stocked - they allow you ro being your pwt inside so i have come across a few neighborhood pups while shopping.Its not a full sized chain store - but its perfect for a local neighborhood spot where you can drop in and gwt what you need.

I have decided to adopt a Beagle and as a first time dog owner, I had to look for stuffs like supplies, shampoos, vitamins, good dog food etc. I did a research online and I found this pet shop which is just located nearby,I didn't noticed it before, and on Friday afternoon, I walked in with my dog and I got all the things I needed for her plus I got some new toys for free. Thank you guys
