Great products for my dogs and cats as well , they sell many many products and are always so helpful. Lots of freebies for the dogs who come in, they walk you through the products and explain other options, costs etc. very friendly customer service and they will deliver and set up regular service for deliveries.

Can't say enough wonderful things about this store! They have a great variety of high quality products that have kept my cat and me very happy! Best of all, they do free (!!!) local delivery- always fast and reliable. Amazing customer service too- if they're out of a product, they'll always call and work with you to find a good replacement. Speaking as the owner of a 1 year old pup who frequents this location, I can't say enough good things about this pet store. It isn't the biggest pet store in the area with 1000 different brands but they are most reliable, friendliest, and most helpful pet store I've encountered. They certainly have more than enough different brands and varieties of pet foods and toys to find something your pet will love.Aside from being friendly and helpful while you're in-store, they are also willing to deliver in an extremely quick and timely manner for no extra charge (?!). I once ran into a self-made emergency where I forgot to get my pup more pet food and it was already 5:30pm. I believe this store closes at 6pm so I assumed I would just have to make do until the next morning borrowing from a neighbor. But within an hour, Pet Central has delivered my pup's favorite kibble to my doorstep.Phenomenal place that has a loyal customer as long as I'm on the Upper West Side.

I travel to this shop from 147th because they’re one of the few places that carries Open Farm wet cat food. The shop has tons of options, is super clean and staff & owner are friendly and helpful! Nightly recommend, and it’s always worth the journey for me!

What makes the store great is Martin, hands down. He truly cares about his customers and their pets. He always takes the time to answer all of your questions about product as well as time to see how you're doing. With websites making it so easy to buy online, its employees like this that keep customers going to the store.

The staff at this store are genuinely helpful. The prices are reasonable, and if you have a membership (which is a free rewards program) they'll even deliver to you! Comes in handy when you have to carry cat litter through the city. Definitely would recommend.

While there are several pet shops in the area, this is by far the best. They have reasonable prices, a great selection, a clean store, and what stands out most to me: fantastic customer service. I’ve ordered delivery and been in the store and each time has always been a seamless experience. Support this local business!

Martin is super nice and wonderful and 5 stars for him but I feel cheated because I paid $15.50 for a 2oz bag of dog treats and later learned that I overpaid. My heart broke when I saw that it was only $7 on two other online stores. The store is kinda clean and all that but I don't think I'll ever go back. If I had to check and compare prices every time I went here, it is so not worth my time and effort. I'd rather shop online.

This is a wonderful pet store. Always clean (unlike two other pet stores within a few blocks of here), well-stocked, lots of product variety that is also selected for quality, and the prices are actually comparable to Petco even though this place is a small neighborhood store. The people who work here are true animal lovers and they live the pet owners, too. Real community feeling. This is the best pet store I have been to.
