we came into town and did not have time before we left to stiffen up Ferdinand or long-haired Chihuahua. Judy and her team were more than our groomer at home. They took in Ferdinand and took such great care of him. We had the pleasure of assistance shopping for our other animals and Ferdinand in her beautiful pet shop full of eclectic goodies.We are grateful for their time and service hands-down wonderful beautiful people.

Le Pet Spa has injured my dog & made him bleed several times during his hair cuts. They just care about taking your money and then razing your dog down to the bone. They don’t want to take the time to actually demat your dog or comb through their hair, they will gaslight you and make you believe you’re being cruel if you suggest they demat first and then give a haircut. the real reason they don’t want to demat is cuz it’s too much work and takes too much time (Mong ended up spilling the beans on this & Judy tried to cover up). They don’t care about your dog, just on maximizing their profits and making more money. They manipulate you into believing that using a razor to take all the fur off your dog is cuz they care about not hurting him. But the irony is they actually ended up injuring him & making him bleed not once but on several occasions!! Do NOT take your fur baby here… there are far better and more ethical groomers who will not lie to you and then injure your dog. Never going back here again and have asked several friends to refrain as well!!

I’ve been going to le pet spa for 2 years now for my labradoodle. They are part pet store and part groomer with great selection of natural treats and foods. Along with dozens of toys.I have nothing but good experiences to share when it comes to grooming and it keeps me going back. It’s definitely a higher price tag, but worth every penny for the professionalism, care, and results that they offer! The staff there is so warm and friendly. So lucky to have them in the battery park community!

We are so happy with Le Pet Spa! They treat our Brooklyn so well and always make her look clean, fluffy, and amazing! It’s a great neighborhood groomer and it’s in a great location! She is always excited to go to the groomer and always happy when she comes home! They’re very responsive to specific instructions and I’m very appreciative for their work!

Our kitten Yeezy has been groomed several times. This by far was the best cut and style (lion cut) he has gotten. Not only is he a handsome man, but he also was cooler and visually, much happier all summer. Our big city kitty thanks Le Pet Spa with one loud purr and a big 😸 meow!

Le Pet Spa is an amazing spot to take your pup. My search for a groomer is officially done! My pup is a bit nervous and I was looking for a place that not only had a comfortable setting, but also qualified and patient staff. Le pet spa fit the bill. They not only showed my dog around and let her sniff everything to get comfortable but they worked with me to make sure I felt comfortable as well. The price tag is slightly high but the service and end result is absolutely worth it. I'll def be back and have been recommending everyone I know to visit.

Amazing pet business! I took my two year old Labrador there for her birthday and she chose a nice chicken bone. The owner even gave me a pig ear for free which was too nice of them. I wish that I purchased more dog treats just to help them out. Thank you guys for making Daisy's birthday amazing. :)

Excellent customer serviceWhat a cute shop! I happened to be downtown and needed a gift for my friend who recently got a Pomeranian puppy. The people were very sweet and extremely helpful since I know l little about pets and had no idea what would be an appropriate gift. They did not try to sell me their highest price items, instead asking a ton of questions to be sure the items would make sense for this puppy. My experience has me wanting to return to Le Pet Spa, even though I don't even have a pet!

Judy and her team are absolutely incredible. I was recommended to her shop by a family friend and needless to say I was glad I made the short trip there.Not only was the owner a complete sweetheart who took care of us professionally and quickly , she was super attentive to the needs of my dog.Not to mention the hair cut package made my dog look years younger and healthier !I definitely recommend this place , I will be back soon :)

I never write recommendations, but Le Pet Spa and Judy have been above and beyond amazing to us and our two dogs; they treat us like family. Judy has gone out of her way to be accommodating, the dogs always look amazing, and they actually love going there. We are extremely sad that they don't have more locations uptown, and despite moving we still plan on taking our dogs there when we can. Taking your pet here is a no brainer, and I couldn't recommend it more highly. Thanks again, Le Pet Spa!

We just love Le Pet Spa! Our mini poodle Stella has been coming here for a while now and we could not be more pleased. Judy, along with the rest of the staff are just lovely. They always do an amazing and consistent grooming job for Stella. They also have lots of great toys and snacks! Overall, I would highly recommend.

Have taken my cavapoo here a few times for grooming. This was the second time they’ve shaved him to the skin because they said his mattes were too bad, when in fact, they weren’t. The issue is that they care more about volume than quality cuts. Your dog will spend about 90 minutes there and that’s because their groomers are lazy and will have opted to shave them instead of taking the time to work out mattes. Not to mention, it’s currently January and wind chill has been single digits to below zero. No professional groomer would shave a dog with such extreme cold outside. I truly don’t know how this place has so many 5 stars. I keep trying to give them another chance but at this point I’m looking elsewhere.update: the most alarming part of Le Pet Spa is that they told me he was SCREAMING in pain as if to emphasize “how bad his mats were.” All this told me is how inexperienced and callous their groomers are. My dog arrived back to me shaking and terrified. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. We’re talking about a few belly and one tail mat… in response to the owner, yes they did call to ask if they could “go shorter” than requested. They did not explain that “shorter” meant shaved down to the skin. His mats were trivial and his previous groomer NEVER had to shave him (and he’s had plenty worse mats). Do not trust this place with your pet as it’s happened more than once to me.

Phil and Judy are really awesome people and they run a very well put together store. They always have my Little L's and even have tug ropes with rawhide attached. They carry a great selection of food and even offer pet grooming. While I haven't had to experience their groomers myself, I have seen the results of their work and it is very spot on. They are very curt and patient with the animals and their people and rarely have issues with dogs who's people would call them problem dogs. Highly recommend them especially for treats and food.

My neighbor told me about Le Pet Spa, and Cooper has now had three grooming sessions there - Judy is extremely friendly and Cooper is always excited when he sees any staff from Le Pet Spa. They are extremely professional and reasonably priced.I will probably come back to Le Pet Spa even if I move away from the area. Cooper's safety seems to never be a worry here and he always turns out fantastic. Thank you to everyone at Le Pet Spa for your outstanding service, despite the difficulties of the quarantine.

Great groomer. Our dog always leaves Le Pet Spa looking great. It is clear how careful the groomers are with each pet and how much they care. Our Zoey has some growths on her body and in the past other groomers have cut her badly but not Le Pet Spa. Highly recommend!

Charlotte hadn’t been to the groomer in over a decade. She never came out without being anxious for 2 days.The ladies at Le Pet must’ve been extra sweet to her. She is quite old and had become too much for me to continue to bathe and groom myself.Charlotte absolutely loved the session. She felt great afterwards and looked great as well!I’ve never felt so comfortable letting someone groom her. You can tell how gentle and genuine they are with their pets.Love them!

Had such a wonderful experience having my Maltese-Shih tzu puppy groomed here. The owners were very attentive and called me with questions they had while grooming. I really appreciated them reaching out rather than proceeding with her haircut. I’ve had experiences where my dog came back traumatized after a trip to the groomer, but that was not the case here. The owners and employees could not have been nicer to both me and my dog. They’ve been in business in this location for 20 years, so it’s obvious that they love what they do. I think we’ve found a new regular groomer!

HIGHLIGHT: The only grooming spot we've brought our cat and felt she (1) was actually clean after and (2) the grooming staff kept her calm and happy throughout. Cat lover's dream.GENERAL: We bring our dog regularly to have her nails trimmed and bring the cat semi-annually for a bath. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and enthusiastic about their work. Everyone from the front desk to the back room will treat your animal like a VIP. We have been using Le Pet Spa for grooming and treats since we moved to the neighborhood in 2013. The very few times we didn't like something about the service it was quickly rectified. Frequent happy customers here.

My 5-year old cocker spaniel had a fantastic grooming here last week. The owner Bobby took precise notes on how I like Murray groomed, and for an extra $5 delivered him home to me when his appointment was finished. He was returned exceptionally fluffy, and smelled great. Will definitely be returning!

Good selection of pet products. Owners are very willing to stock new items by request if they can get them. Owners are also incredibly friendly and you can tell they really love animals. Not sure how their grooming is, as we have cats, but we saw some puppies being groomed in the back, and they looked pretty happy.

Took our Siberian cat here this week for a sanitary grooming and had a great experience. The groomers were professional and did a quick and high quality job.
