Hands down the best business in Inwood. The gentleman that work there are so personable and accommodating and really the best of neighbors. The quality of their products have always exceeded expectations, at very reasonable prices, and the customer service is unmatched. My brother will stop in from the North Bronx just to buy food for his dogs. I recently moved from the area and I will wholeheartedly miss this store. This is the perfect example of how a small business can brighten a neighborhood. Stop in to say hi to Dino and Leon; their 4-legged employee’s.

Omg..omg.... thisbplace is amaaaaaazing.. this is a pet supply store and a neighborhood institution...I am love small stores where the person behind the counter ter knows the names of the people who came in to shop... I ventured in hoping they have fish food..(the name furry friends) and low and behold... they had a nice variety of food for aquatic friends.. everything was so clean and well organzied.. the blue and yellow color scheme on the floors and walls was so pleasant..it definitely makes you feel like you're in a unique place.. I will revisit soon... great service and great products and prices.. and I also got to meet Dino.... the store family cat... super well mannered and soft clean cat... he was very happy and confident. The person behind the counter was super friendly and informative... you will love this little hideaway gem of a petstore

Furry Fiends is a neighborhood institution and such a special place. Amin truly knows how to run a friendly neighborhood business with wonderful products for pets and fantastic service, including delivery at your convenience. They recommended the outstanding dog food we have used ever since and always have it in stock when we need it, along with a great selection of treats and toys. Amin and his brother and other staff are always super friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. They are always welcoming to us and our dog, Luna, and give her treats (asking her to sit, of course!). Thanks, Amin, for always being there for Luna and our family. You are a great part of this wonderful neighborhood and we will be loyal customers for life.

Every time I step in here the workers act like I don’t even exist. Confused on how they have so many positive reviews of people calling them “friendly”when they barely help me when I am asking for help. Guess they only cater towards a specific demographic. Avoid this place at all cost.

I love this store and the people who work here. I go there to pick up treats and other accessories for our small dog regularly. The owner is super friendly and helpful! He has offered helpful advice and always makes us feel welcome. Plus the delivery is amazing, it’s always so fast and so convenient! I feel really lucky to have such a great pet supply store in the neighborhood.

Owner is gracious and an absolute professional. He gave me excellent guidance and instruction on caring for my new puppy. He also made me feel welcome and patiently answered any question or concern I had. His prices are VERY reasonable and he made me feel like he was there to help, instead of trying to sell me things that I don't need. Looking forward to returning here for my puppy's needs. This place is a rip off they quietly charge you extra they add tax to the price without separating it to identify its tax and then they also charge you for a credit using a credit card, which they don’t inform you beware, I wouldn’t use this pet store

These may not be the fanciest tags on the market, but they LAST. You'll only ever have to buy your dog or cat one of these stainless tags, and it will stay legible and bright for life.I was just in here as I saw online that they had Bravo Balance raw food there and it's just a nice-day walk distance from my house.They didn't have much selection of Bravo, but they did have a lot of other raw pet food for cats and dogs, organics, grain frees, plus the usual stuff like Friskies.The shop is small and a little cramped feeling for me but not unusual for shops around here. Lots of food, snacks, some toys and leashes and such as one would expect.I was kind of lost while looking through the raw cat food freezer options since they only had one flavor of Bravo and it was beef... I'm just about to start transitioning my cat over and read that poultry flavors are best to do so with, in general so that was out... I was reading bags and pamphlets and such as some of the names I recognized as good options from online reading and some I didn't. I finally settled on a chicken one and took it up to the front.The man was very friendly and gave me some input on raw diets for cats and that I should try the other size of food than I had... I'd grabbed the "medallion" size which is little hunks of food and he suggested for a cat to try the "bites" size which is smaller and closer to dry kibble foods tend to be.The price was comparable to what I'd expected from online, no huge markup there.I'll definitely go back there for supplies, whether if it's for this food or another or other items. They were very nice, helpful, and good stock available.

My favorite small business in the neighborhood. Everyone is so nice and personable. A few years ago my dog outgrew her coat when I showed them they found and stocked it. They remember my 21 year old cat hates seafood and pate every time I call. Love not having to big box my pet supplies and support this wonderful business.

I love this store! It's a considerable distance from where I live, but is absolutely worth the trip. The store is stocked with items and products that you want to buy for your pet. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They actually remember you and what your pet's needs and likes are. Not only that, they also offer a discount plan. What more could you ask for?!

Been a loyal customer since the beginning. The owner and staff are so friendly and helpful.I have a cat who has to have Feline C/D. They have a supplier with a better version of the wet food than the one my vet carries.My cats actually eat the food I get from Furry Fiends. They also deliver which is a huge help. I like to support small businesses in the area - and this one is a worthwhile place for pet food, toys, and other supplies.They also have Dino, the store cat who may or may not let you pet him, but he is fun to admire - a beautiful and slightly cranky tabby.

Had to run in for milk and bottle for my 4 week old kitten who doesnt want to eat! Called and asked a few questions and asked them to hold the last bottle for me, that I swore I would be there, they did hold it for me and I am so happy and highly appreciated them for that! I dont mind traveling far because of the friendly staff! This place is highly recommended!
