We feel so lucky to live so close to Dog Days! Not only is it close to us, our puppy LOVES it and our vet loves it too! We started coming here after we saw how much fun our pup had during her social hour with Amanda Gagnon Dog Training on Sundays (they rent the space for an hour), so we decided to check it out for daycare and we’re so glad we did. The people who work here are friendly and kind and treat the dogs with respect and care. Thank you Dog Days!

We were long time customers of Dog Days with our dog, Zizou. Zizou had a little anxiety, lot of personality, and even more opinions. Dean, Cory, Jackie, Mattias, and the whole staff were always so wonderful to her. They were also really flexible with schedules which I will be eternally grateful for. When we are ready for our next pup, I won’t hesitate to take them to Dog Days.

We love Dog Days or I should say our dog LOVES Dog Days.It's a great place with a wonderful staff of caring dog lovers. Anna the groomer is just wonderful. Our dog can be a little skittish but somehow Anna works her magic and calms her down for her monthly mani/pedi.So lucky to have them in the neighborhood!

Anna is a terrific groomer! She always does a great and highly professional job, and at a very reasonable price. Not only is she an excellent groomer but she's been very accommodating in terms of finding time for a grooming appointment even on fairly short notice. I recommend her very highly!

I started visiting Dog Days of New York, as Anna the groomer has been taking care of my dog, Finn, since he was a puppy. She is absolutely fantastic, caring and takes her time with him. My dog is now 10 years old, and his coat still looks like the coat of a young dog, thanks to Anna's good care. Finn loves her and is always excited to see her. I do not trust my dog with many people, but Anna is one of the few that I trust wholeheartedly.

Anna is a wonderful dog groomer who’s here 2 days per week including Saturdays. Her work is very professional cleans the fog so well and my dog loves seeing her. He is always happy to go with no hesitation so I know she’s great with him.I’d highly reccomend their service.

I bring my black English lab here and my dog absolutely loves Dog Days of New York. They are so good with him and he's always wagging his tail going in and out. I would highly recommend you to take advantage of this wonderful place, they do training, daycare, overnight and grooming.

We got our puppy groomed here and Anna does a fantastic job! We also have brought our dog to the puppy play socials that are hosted here and he absolutely LOVES them. I’d definitely recommend Anna as a groomer and the socials!!

My 13-year-old mini-schnauzer has seen many dog groomers over the years, but none I recommend more highly than Anna at Dog Days of NY. She is professional and caring with my dog, who has had anxiety with other groomers. He has also had a long-standing problem with one of his nails, which is painful to have trimmed and which other groomers have refused and been nervous to trim. But not Anna — she is fearless and handles my boy with no problem at all. She once mentioned her experience with shelter dogs and it really shows. Besides knowing my dog is in the best hands possible, it is a real plus that his haircut is perfect and to my specifications every time. As schnauzer owners know, they are not the easiest breed to groom!

Best dog daycare in NYC ! All the staff members are extremely friendly, understanding and do the best they can to work around your schedule and dogs needs. There's wonderful natural lighting throughout the entire daycare , all the dogs always have access to water and are always given walks . They also allow you to see their entire space when requested unlike some other places which don't . They're the only place I trust with my dog !

Love everything about Dog Days. They take exceptional care of my pup, the space is big and bright, and the additional services (e.g. grooming) are excellent. Our corgi loves Dog Days of New York! We board him there exclusively whenever we need to go out of town. Our Corgi is difficult to walk, but the staff is great with him and he loves it there.We also have him groomed there with Anna who does a wonderful job grooming and deshedding him head to toe.

I trust Dog Days with my very anxious chihuahua. Anna the groomer trims his nails better than anyone else we've tried, in spite of my dog's feistiness. For boarding, it's a calm environment with sunlight streaming through the windows. I feel comfortable boarding him for an afternoon and even overnight--unlike other places I've tried where my dog has been overrun by other dogs and superstressed, I know he's kept in a calm, quiet space and well watched over.

Anna is an amazing groomer!!! She is so patient and kind to my very shy and skittish dog, a tiny senior Pomeranian who is a former puppy mill mom. She is scared of everything and overwhelmed super easily but Anna knows exactly how to handle her so she is never traumatized by the experience, which is why I will continue to bring my dog to her. She always makes my dog look the CUTEST after getting groomed! She does such a thorough job and has given me tips on keeping her detangled in between visits to help prevent matting. Highly recommended!!!

I take my shy, nervous pup here for a grooming-she had been previously injured by another popular grooming place on the UWS. So finding a groomer who would understand that and take extra care was what we needed. Happy to have found Anna -who takes her time, is patient, kind and does a great job with my pup Gracie. We are grateful for her care and expertise.

Dog Days is more than a doggie daycare. It is like an extension of my family. All the poeple working there are so down to earth and warm. They know every dog so well all their habits and preferences. Zoey LOVES getting her haircut with Anna. The grooming is amazing and Anna listens to exactly what you want! I have a mini goldendoodle and many groomers have the dogs look like poodles, but Anna knows exactly what to do. We love it and ABSOLUTELY​ recommend the grooming!

Dog days is the best, no place else like it! Champ has been going to DDNY since he was a pup and LOVES it. Along the way he as developed fantastic social skills, great manners, and loads of friends., and adores everyone who is on the Dog Days team. Anna is by far the sweetest and most professional groomer we have ever encountered. Champ used to hate getting groomed and in Anna's hands, he loves going and is always excited afterwards. Dog Days, Dean, Anna and the whole crew are a class act. If I had kids, I'd sent them there too!

Our dog pulls like crazy every time we walk by the Dog Days of New York door to try and go back. He absolutely loves this place and I have only positive things to say about it. Every time we go out of town, we leave our dog in their care. I'm actually sitting on a flight home now, which happened to be delayed. I left a message letting Dog Days know we'd be arriving back late and the owner, Dean emailed me right away to let me know that they'd drop him home at 7:30 PM, so he won't be alone long. I highly recommend Dog Days!

We stumbled upon DDNY 6 years ago when we were looking for a puppy socialization group for our 12-week pup, and we’ve never left.Our two dogs attend daycare daily and board there when we travel. While our dogs love being home, they are equally happy to go to DDNY. I attribute this to the incredible staff who goes above and beyond to not only care for our dogs, but for all of the dogs who call DDNY their home away from home. This past fall when we welcome twin daughters to the family, the staff at DDNY were simply remarkable. They were flexible with pick up and dropped off times and ensured that the dogs received extra attention since they recognized they were getting less at home. The staff is extraordinary, and we are grateful for all they do!In addition to daycare and boarding, we also use their fantastic groomer, Ana. Ana is highly talented and is incredibly patient. She takes great care when grooming and understands the needs of our dogs. She ensures that the dog's cuts match the breed standards and although our dogs can be anxious, Ana is sensitive to this and as a result, our dogs come home not only looking great but happy too!

Excellent groomer. Anna has a 6th sense of how to groom dogs AND she uses a file Not clippers on the nails!! So great!! Never cuts the dog’s quick (like many groomers accidentally do.)

Do not recommend if you want knowledgeable and responsive pet care.We had our dog "temperament" tested for daycare and boarding purposes. The owner failed to get back to us for almost a week and only responded after we called several times to follow up. After hounding them for days, we were told our dog could not be accommodated for boarding, although they would potentially accept her for daycare. They provided no specific behavioral reasons why other than that she "did not seem comfortable." We had been hoping to use Dog Days frequently for both boarding and daycare, but will be doing neither.

I use dog days for grooming and Anna does a great job with our large rescue dog who is scared of strangers. I also board him there overnight when I need to. No cages. Family run. Clean place

We booked dog care on April 14 for the weekend of the 21st and the location booked us. When we called to confirm the day before our scheduled boarding, the dog care place insisted that we were not booked and told us they were closed. Sadly, unreliable.

I drop my pup here once or twice a week. He always is happy to go to "school" and runs up the stairs. They are super nice, facility is clean and he comes home a Happy and tired 🐶

Very pleased with the puppy play group and was impressed by the cleanliness, friendliness of staff, and the group’s facilitator, who was a fully trained expert and was monitoring the pups all at once and also giving each individual pup attention and tips for the owners, wherever appropriate. Will definitely be coming back for puppy play group on Sundays!
