What an outstanding, high-end pet store on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We stopped in to Canine Styles on our way back from another appointment in the area. The staff was very nice and helpful. The gentleman working today showed us the perfect coat for our dog. This place is full of great sweaters, coats, and toys for our favorite four-legged friends! I highly recommend it here.

This is an incredible place for both you and your dog. I have never been treated so kindly by such gracious and knowledgeable management, staff, and talented groomers. Dylan, my cavalier, is happy to go inside and thrilled to show off his new look when he is done. Also, they carry the most beautiful beds, clothes, bowls, harnesses, plus necessities! It’s truly a wonderful place. They have been amazing during the pandemic; they are safe and deserve community support as a small business!

Canine Styles is a great local pet shop and groomer. They have a lot of high quality items and the staff is very friendly. I moved out of the immediate area and returned after several months, and they all remembered my pup by name. If you need a groomer or some high quality pet accoutrements, Canine Styles is the place to go in Lenox Hill.

I just picked up my 15 y/o Yorkie and I have to say, I have never seen him so calm and content after grooming. His health is a little delicate and over the years grooming caused such stress for him that he would be sick for weeks afterward. I started grooming him myself, with expected results and finally sucked it up and brought him to Canine Styles Midtown. It was worth every penny! I got a same day appointment and I can't remember him ever coming out of grooming so content and relaxed, and he looks adorable. You get what you pay for and I will only bring him here from now on. Thanks to the lovely groomer and the kind staff.

I am obsessed with this place! Everyone is so sweet and kind especially the front desk staff. The helped me find an amazing vet at bond vets UES after I had a horrifying experience with Dr. Frucht at Murray hill vet hospital. The store is spectacular, adorable and Pristinely clean. My sweet little puppy absolutely loves it there. Oscar is the best! He makes her feel safe and beautiful. She literally doesn't want to leave when I pick her up!

Visited this location today to shop for a coat for my 3 month old chocolate lab. There were some beautiful pieces in the store and I was looking to splurge a bit on my baby but the staff was very unwelcoming. There were no price tags on any of the pieces and they seemed frustrated with any question I had. The shopping experience was uncomfortable to say the least and even though I spent nearly $200 on just two pieces, the staff made me feel as if I was not a valued customer because I did not want to spend $1,000 on apparel that wouldn't fit my puppy after 3 more months. I was shopping cautiously because for a $100 sweater, I wanted to be sure it was something Sofie can wear throughout the winter and hopefully the next... Very disappointed in the service. Don't expect any help when shopping here.

After 5 hours waiting in a cage and a $150 bill for grooming my dog ended up in the Vet for food poisoning another $500 bill. The dog got there at 11am in perfect health and left at 5 pm, after many calls asking why it was taking so long a grooming that usually takes 2-2 1/2 hours, poor baby with the worse ever diarrhea. I complained but the lady said the owner just doesn’t care. Stay away from this place.

Although my buddy Leo hates bath time, He loves the team at Canine Styles. Nilda and Michael are always friendly and welcoming. While Victoria and Oscar are beyond talented in grooming. Highly recommend them.

Horrible, Horrible, HorribleThey gave me a price over the phone and charged me $25 extra without letting me know at the checkout and when I bought it to their attention, the woman said "oh sorry, we will give a you $5 discount next time"... what?Then, since a friend picked my shitzu up, I didn't get to check him right there. when I saw him at home I was shocked to see so many missing spots and it looked as if they did not give him a bath at $141 price. I have paid $50 and got a much better work before. But that's not it all. My appointment was on Wednesday and at the following Sunday after few days of acting odd and shaking his head, I finally found a piece of cotton left in my dog's ear. I am so mad and devastated by level of unprofessional job done by this place that I just cannot express enough. they are over priced through and through, with bad attitude and treble job at the end. Idiots!

Terrible customer service, so expensive. We bought a small toy for our Yorshire. He made a hole in the toy within 5 minutes and started eating the inside which is dangerous. The toy cost was $20 for a small toy. Our dog is 6 pounds puppy. I went back to the store the next day asking them to take care of it. They said “it’s a dog, it happens”. other toys we buy don’t have this issue. But they sent us home with a useless $20 toy. Sucks, especially for a very expensive UES store.
