Felix has been taking care of our fish tank for quite sometime now. He has so much knowledge in what he does. When he comes to clean up the tank he will make sure to give us an update on how the fishes are doing. If the plants are growing or not. If he sees anything he will make sure to tell you what to do to fix that. He is also so good at what he does. I’m so glad we found him and wouldn’t trust anyone else with our beautiful tank.

I am so grateful I found Felix when I was failed by my local aquarium store. Felix is incredibly knowledgeable on all things fish and saved my aquarium from an out of control algae problem. I’ve learned so much on keeping a healthy and thriving community tank from our one appointment and plan to continue to use Best Aquarium to keep my tank healthy. Felix is responsive and answers my little questions that come up from time to time without hesitation. He is a master of his craft and passionate about all things with gills. :)

Felix is beyond incredible!! He truly knows his stuff!! We recently got a Betta fish as a first pet for our son and wanted to be sure we were caring for him correctly. Felix answered all of our questions with patience and expertise. He even gave us his cell phone number to text him if we had any issues or concerns. I truly cannot thank him enough. My overall experience with Felix was absolutely phenomenal! He came in and jumped into action and got to work. The whole experience was amazingly very professional. Felix provided updates on his ETA so I knew exactly when he would arrive and he was very punctual as well. He was very knowledgeable about fish & aquarium care and even showed me how to carefully clean the tank myself, something no other tank cleaner ever did, which was priceless. His love for the environment and the ecosystem was evident in how he talked and his actions as he expressed to me how he volunteers at local schools and church to give back to his community. Best Aquarium Services NYC is nothing short of AMAZING!!! Felix set up a stunning fish tank for our home. My husband and I were so impressed with his level of knowledge, his professionalism and excellent customer service. He answered all of our questions, educated us about how our tank systems (filters/heaters/timers) work, and taught us how to care for our new little fish friends. The fact that he will be servicing our tank gives us added peace of mind! Felix was so personable and Knowledgable. I was hesitant to call someone because I felt my tank was not really big and should have been fairly easy to care for but they are harder than you think! Felix did not make me feel silly at all. He gave me so much good advice, told me exactly what equipment to buy to keep my tank clear and make water changes easy. Felix was an amazing resource! During the pandemic we decided to get fish for our kids, and Felix walked us through the entire process every step of the way, taking into consideration all of our concerns (including not wanting to go into stores because of Covid). He sent specific listings, helped evaluate options, and answered my kids' many questions. He is one of the most knowledgeable experts in his field - I kind of wish we were in market for more aquariums so we could work with him again! I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Felix is the man!! He set up my reef aquarium from scratch and it’s looking beautiful. He is knowledgeable and hard working. Even tho he comes to do service on my tank, he always answers my texts and my calls when I have an answer about my tank. I was afraid to start my first fish tank especially being a saltwater tank but he has made the experience very fun and enjoyable. Oh, and he always leaves everything supper clean when he’s done. He is not a messy worker by no means.

Felix is an extremely knowledgable and efficient professional! We have a small fish tank that we were unsure how to clean. He came and showed us everything, step by step, and taught the homeowner's young son exactly how to do everything on his own. In addition to teaching us how to do the cleaning, he explained the reasoning and the science behind everything so we knew not just how to do it but why to do it that way. He even told us what other fish would go good with our current fish & set up, and suggested specific food brands. He was very communicative and answered our questions that came up via text even after the appointment. HUGE thank you to Best Aquarium Services NYC Inc. for their help! I called as a last resort to save my beautiful Betta. He has progressively worsening fin rot that I had been treating for months, and absolutely nothing was working. When I called I spoke to the owner, Felix, who very patiently listened to my problems, and I explained everything, he gave me detailed instructions on how to proceed. Almost two weeks later and my pretty boy is doing so much better! His fins are regrowing and his blue coloring is coming back super quickly. He has a ways to go before he’s back to where he started, but without the help of this company my fish would have died being less than a year old. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I called this service by chance looking for help with our goldfish that where experiencing health issues. Felix sat on the phone with me free of charge and listened to my concerns and explained everything I was doing wrong and how to fix it. I honestly couldn’t be more appreciative of his patience and willingness to help me with this problem!!! Definitely give him a call if you have any issues with your aquarium!! He is not the type of guy that is going to try and sell you a bunch of products instead he explains the science of proper water care and how to achieve the proper environment for you fish.
