Don't show up between noon and 1pm. For carpets. I've been here since 1210 pm. It's now 1248pm. I've asked 4 employees to please get me some help. They announce it over speaker 3 times since and still no help. One hour wasted!. That's if I get help by 1 pm. OMG!.UNBELIEVABLE. IT'S NOW 1:24 PM. I WAS JUST INFORMED, ONLY BECAUSE I CONTINUED REQUESTING HELP FROM ALL THAT WALKED BY ME THAT THE ROLLING MACHINE ISN'T WORKING . THE RIGHT ONE. SO THE TWO LEFT ONE CAN'T BE USED. CAUSE IT'S A HAZARD. THEY WORK. BUT IT'S A HAZARD. I'LL NEVER EVER COME TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. ONE HOUR 15 MINUTES WASTED..

i like Home Depot just fine. But the Nostrand Ave. Home Depot in Bed-Sty, Brooklyn is so full of unemployed people looking for work in the parking lot that it’s like the movie Night of the Living Dead. Like zombies they follow you around and grab onto your cart hoping you’ll give them a dollar to let go. They grouparound you when you’re loading your truck. You have to fight off solicitors both outside and inside. They approach to ask if you need transportation. Many seem mentally ill. It’s really sad. So if you don’t want to get depressed about the world don’t go here. I wish everyone had work but i could do without being hustled. Doing a contract, i went here a dozen times and never once got away without handing out some money. Two guys strong armed me into helping. They’re very aggressive. There are literally about 50-80 people just hanging out, smoking weed and hassling customers for work all day long. It reeks of weed. Most are totally harmless, but if you don’t want to fight off solicitors, don’t go to this Home Depot.

My favorite home depot in the area. Enclosed parking lot which is great when the weather is foul. Fast paint service! Usually a good number of cashier lanes open!

The Yonkers store I would not recommend anybody go inside and order any tools that need to be shipped to the store for the simple reason that I had ordered a $4200 Milwaukee M 18 pro press tool and had it shipped to the store, and somehow, miraculously it disappeared… As manager, Mr. Colin told me after I argued and spoke to everybody possible in the store that deals with special order items. They all told me the same thing with a stupid grin on their face that somehow my order just disappeared from the store after. It was recorded on the computer as checked in off the truck. So basically what I’m getting at is my tool that I paid for in advance, made it to the store, and somehow internally got stolen by an employee from the store.. So all I basically got after a four day search was from Mr. Collin, the manager, and numerous other managers again from different departments, such as the voting dock, and unloading of trucks area that they cannot find my order item and all that can happen is I get refunded with no explanation but an internal investigation will be done, so I recommend nobody goes to Yonkers store and even thinks about or considers, ordering any special order item and have it shipped to the store and expect it to be there without some kind of problem happening with employees stealing tools, so don’t waste your time go on the Internet and find it somewhere else as you will not be happy with the service and the explanation that you get from the people at Home Depot including manager Colin …. Again, all I was told is there will be an internal investigation and here is your money refunded have a good night… thank you very much Home Depot the store that I shop in six days at least a week for material for my business and this is the explanation I get from somebody that obviously has the wrong title as manager and should be demoted to shopping cart boy because he has no care on what is stolen from the store from his own employees and doesn’t care about the customers that are paying his salary so please to whom it may concern can somebody give me an explanation and an answer if there will be an internal investigation into why so much stuff disappears from that store without an answer. Does anybody from Home Depot care about product shrinkage as you call it , also known as stolen Merchandise by the same employees that run your store… If anybody has an answer, please reply back to me on what happened to my order and what is going to be done about your employees stealing everything they can… It’s not the public you have to worry about it’s your internal people that are costing you, millions and millions and lost merchandise

If I could give this store a zero, I would. It is the completely mismanaged.. The first time I went there, I did so because my computer said that there were 13 toilets that I wanted in stock. When I got to the store, I had to wait 30 minutes to be helped. No one could find any of the toilets. The second time I called and asked a manager to switch a in store delivery to a home delivery, they said they don't normally do that, but they would make an exception since my order was so delayed. The manager took my credit card number and said that the floor would be delivered to my house in 2 days. When it did not arrive, I called the store. I was put on hold for 20 minutes. I finally cancelled the order and went elsewhere. In addition to terrible customer service, their parking lot littered with garbage. This is really a terrible place to shop.

Just went back again and nothing has changed. This store is filthy. How do they expect people to shop here?This store is just filthy. The parking lot is even worse! It looks like someone just dumped a garbage truck all over the lot. There's no reason for all this filth. Surely they must have someone to clean up the place!

Mostly wonderful, great assortments and displays. Staff were helpful. Long lines to check out. It was a busy day. I needed a 34 inch door. They considered that a special order. They only carry 32 and 36 inch doors.

Complete disorder. Went to return an item, and after waiting in what I thought was the line, was told to move to another area to make the line. Problem is I was already stading on the line for over 10 minutes. Very bad experience. Definitely the sales staff needs better training. Go to Lowes is my advise.

This is the worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to!!! Paged plumbing twice for assistance no answer. An Employee walking around with mini boom box playing loud music. Employees sitting down talking about the company Christmas party, and not even moving to assist customers. It’s embarrassing for Home Depot. Definitely needs new management.

Certainly have a wide variety of tools and building supplies, but finding knowledgeable help is hit & miss. Still, the choices are good and Spring gardening supplies are great.

I just called Home Depot in Yonkers and after five minutes of weeding myself through the automated call center I got to speak to someone. Picked up the phone and said can I put you on hold for four minutes? I said no and he hung up. What the hell is that about?

Probably the worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to. No1 knows anything and can’t get assistance with anything. Save yourself the frustration and go to Lowe’s in ridge hill.

I went to this location regularly, and I’m always satisfied with the service. I also tried pickup order through their website, a few times the items I ordered were out of stock but listed as available online, in this case they will cancel the order automatically.

The staff here does help and locates other employees who can support in correct department. I have shopped at multiple Home Depot. The staff makes the difference here in Danbury....

HD is OK, depending on WHICH location.The one in YONKERS is HORRIBLE!!!Signs are confusing, Security knows NOTHING, and there was ONE electric wheelchair that ONLY went in REVERSE parked at The EXIT not The ENTRANCE!!!(All the other HD have working motorized wheelchairs.)The Staff is VERY NICE, but they look OVERWORKED! Plus, when you find the aisle there is NO ONE TO HELP!!!I spent 1 HOUR searching for a bag of drywall plaster!!!Finally, the EXIT by car is a blind turn and there is no light! 🚦AVOID THIS HD at ALL COSTS!!!Go to The Bronx, Hawthorne or Manhattan instead!!!!

I rate 3 stars but not because of the young lady but because of the company. It was a LINE long and she handled it WELL!!!!!! with NO HELP and everyone was PATIENT and didn’t rush her. we was all upset that she was doing all the work ALONE hire more people for this location

Giving 4 stars for being able to find what you need on most occasions. Willingness from employees to help patrons needs improvement, however. There's never a person in clear site to assist with finding an item; usually have to hunt a worker down. Best bet, go to front of store to ask in customer service department for someone to assist with your request.

inventory was a mess. could not find a part that the website showed they had 14 of. asked for help, but only got a shrug, saying it's all there. and if it is mixed up I will just have to find it. waste of time and useless service.

The parking lot is disgusting and filthy. Looks something after the Apocalypse. Really needs to be attended to, takes away from the rest of the store. The store could also use a makeover. Clean up some of the aisles a little bit better. Other than that I found what I wanted. The staff was helpful and pleasant. I will shop there from time to time.

The Yonkers store is the worst of them all. You'll have five people standing around not helping anybody I. I'm standing here 20 minutes waiting for somebody to open up the cage so I can grab a $300 tool. I give up and I'm bringing my business elsewhere. Does this store even have a manager? Doesn't seem like there is one.

I did only a product pick up here. The associates and supervisors there were extremely helpful. Offered me water while I waited for the tile to be brought out. The store seemed chaotic and busy, but the associates at the customer service and the guys that loaded the tile in my car for me were super helpful and great towards me.
