I went to Starbucks in Target. Unique nice and clean. I gave only 3 stars for the service because one of the staff took loooooong time to take an order of a couple ahead of us she was very chatty. The starbucks of Target has a nice sitting area and the puppy logo cookies and K-pop.Love the place and, of course, will come back to enjoy the delicious starbucks coffee

I visited before the grand opening during what they called a "soft opening", so naturally they still have some kinks to work out. It's a shame to see so many items locked up though. Feels like a lack of respect for the community they're just joining. There was no one available to unlock the fitting rooms, I sort of snuck in one when someone else was leaving theirs. Also, unfortunately, my shopping cart got stuck on the cart escalator!!! So many people showed up to try to free it but I ended up having to re-shop for all my items. Totally understandable, everything is brand new and they're figuring it all out.

It was such a deception going to this target and the prices are expensive. Most of the time the employees don’t help you unlock the item you need.

I gave the store one review because you cannot post a review without a star. This store deserves a zero. With all the news about the shoplifting and Target, I thought this store would be safe and courteous. It is neither. I left purchased goods with a manager and sales rep and they misplaced the bag. Then, they faulted me.They, were so uppity I could not believe it. At least 6 young staff milling about Customer Service with nothing to do but what? Reprimand me. They called to apologize after finding my bag, but with the same uppity voice and attitude. The chip on the staff shoulders is a mile wide. The staff is untrained and rude. The Managers are not much better. Save your money and shop at Home Goods or Kohl's. I felt like Target Yonkers could have cared less about my shopping there. Done with them and frankly, won't miss it.

I Love the Starbucks inside Target @ Yonkers. The drinks are made with care and precision. Jordan usually makes my drink and he is always pleasant and courteous. I come here often and always have a good experience with most of the baristas. 💕

I have experienced good things, except for yesterday. A customer service staff was very rude and she was even on a facetime call. If you need to do a quick shopping or drive up, go ahead but if you need to deal with customer service, you need to look for another location.

Customer service representatives at the order pickup/returns counter are rude and have serious attitude problems. Ordering online for pickup is supposed to be easier but having to deal with their lack of customer service skills makes me wish I just shopped in store myself. Or better yet, shopped somewhere else.

Customer service here is evil, the last time I came to get baby formula while holding my newborn in my arms a worker pushed a cart behind me and hit my back very hard; when I looked back he was laughing. Not sure what was funny about hurting someone else holding a baby, but I won’t come back here ever again.

It’s a mess and everything is so new for the new employees hopefully it gets better with time. The one thing I did not like they have a line that you have to get on for self check and not everybody in this line is for self check so you have to wait until is your turn in front to enter self check. That did not make sense for me. I got off the line and went to another self check they have by the entrance near Olive Garden and luckily I was able to check out my item quickly with a very nice person who was very helpful (Javante) positive attitude very cheerful my check out experience with him was excellent..

It's not perfect but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. The location is super convenient. Many shelves were bare; but I'm sure the inventory issues will be sorted out in time. The cart escalator wasn't working, but again, I'm sure it'll be fixed shortly. I wished they didn't follow the trend of other Target stores locking up their products. It's just causes inconvenience to shoppers and I fail to see how it can stop a thief. Today, I want to buy aftershave but it was locked up. I'm not going to stand around waiting to get the product; I'd rather just buy it online from Amazon.

Glad everyone is complaining about the products behind the glass door, that just lets me know the in store racism I went through THREE times (twice in one day) was real and I was not misinterpreting the employee’s behavior. Might I add one racist encounter was with a supervisor/shift lead who was not wearing a name tag so I can’t call her out. However I really only went for baby products on both occasions, so there was no real exploration of the new store. As the drive to cross county is a tad shorter than Mount Vernon, I’ll no longer make the commute to Cross county for Target. Not even for a drive up, as I did twice also, and both times an item was missing from the bag, which is annoying because the wait to have orders picked up are long already (takes the entire two hours). Mount Vernon employees are far more welcoming, and both Bruckner Blvd have speedy ready times. I’ll continue to go where I feel welcomed, or order from Amazon. Not sure why they didn’t put an Amazon store here instead, granted Walmart isn’t allowed in NYC anymore. Cool location but it’s going to be controversial with glass doors around products people mainly go there for, as well as employees who are incapable of making consumers welcomed.

This new target has been open for almost 2 months now and it’s a disaster and a joke. I can guarantee that almost your whole shopping list are either locked up behind glass cases, they’re not in stock or they’re just crazy expensive. Most of the items at this target is a few dollars more than Walmart or even a regular grocery store. Make sure you’re actually getting a good deal when you shop here.Everything’s locked up, it’s a brand new store, and yet people are already stealing. 3 women including one wearing a USPS uniform came into this store this afternoon and ran to the exit with large bags full of unpaid merchandise, people were watching in shock, and the security at the front of the store didn’t do nothing cause that can jeopardize their job or even their life if they do anything to stop them, it’s pretty sad actually… it just ruins the shopping experience for the hard working paying shoppers because not only do we have to deal with the crazy high prices of Target, but we have to wait an eternity to have someone unlock the glass case to get toothpaste and deodorant which we then have to pay for it separately at a register when we’re not even done shopping yet…

I waited over 10 minutes for a representative to assist me – unacceptable. Target, your customer service needs significant improvement; I rate it a 2 out of 10.

Used the motion sensor to alert for help, as instructed to buy locked up laundry detergent.Waited 10 minutes, nothing.Asked for help, the employee did a loop and went right back to their friends.Another 10 minutes..Asked 2 other employees, another 10 minutes. Finally got someone with keys to unlock the cabinet.Booooo.

New target is overpriced and hard to shop with so many items locked up that you constantly need an attendant to get items out. I felt like I was annoying the attendants every time I pressed the button to call for them to open the cabinets. Now I’m just annoyed shopping.I use the target app frequently and noticed when I assign myself to mount vernon store, the prices are cheaper vs when I assign myself to the new Yonkers store. I was so excited for this store opening but just disappointed. Experience was not great.

This target is a joke.. don’t waste your time checking this place out. Employees have no idea what is going on and they will talk about customers right in your face. I was excited to check the location out because it’s the closest to my area. I will definitely take a drive next time to avoid this horrible location.

Other than being a new location, it's still Target and everything Target is. Just because it's a new location, it doesn't change that it's still Target. For those in the area, Sears used to occupy this space - it's now 2 floors for Target, with the top floor being reserved for part of Westchester Community College. The last time Westchester had a 2 floor store like this, it was Walmart in White Plains and that was a complete disaster - hopefully this Target doesn't end up the same way.I purposely avoided the first two weeks since it just opened figuring it would be madness, but finally checked it out in the third week. Other than being new, there's nothing particularly special or remarkable about this location. Only giving it the 3rd star because it is new and there is room for potential, even if it's probably unlikely. If you frequent Target enough, you'd know what they generally carry - the only difference is about half of what the store generally carries is on the second floor including home, kitchen, toys, electronics, shoes, and bathroom - while everything else is on the main floor including groceries, clothes, toiletries, medication, household, school supplies, and makeup. Prices are what they are and at times, they can be decent or good. There are entrances/exits as well as registers on both floors for extra options, but of course it also depends on where you parked. There's a Starbucks and a CVS pharmacy inside for extra convenience. The store was 'fully stocked' upon opening, but I guess they didn't replenish everything by the time I got there as there were a lot of empty spots, shelves, and such. Not all spots, but more than enough to where it was noticeable. In all fairness, the store was busy and since it's a newer location, perhaps a little leeway can be given in that regard. The employees that I saw were typical Target employees. No one was friendly that I encountered and again, just typical Target employee behavior you'd tend to see at other locations. Target - much like Walmart - aren't known for their friendly employees and I can probably count on one hand how many employees have actually been good for all the different locations total I've been to in the last few years (which is more than I can count on one hand). I didn't purchase anything, so no comments about the checking out experience - but there were both cashiers and self checkouts. Again, the store was probably busier than usual due to being a new location, so while I'm willing to give room for improvement here - I'm not expecting too much change in that regard, based off other Target locations.Time of course will tell on how this Target will be in total after the 'newness' of the location wears off and things settle.Located in Cross County shopping center - there are plenty of parking options both directly in the Target parking lot (which the ground floor shares with a few restaurants) and for the rest of the mall. During the holidays it can be a little more challenging to find closer spots. There is the smaller lot next to the second floor entrance as another option. I didn't go around to the college side, so unsure if part of that is blocked off or not. Use caution when using the lots closer to the store, because there were carts all over the place.Honestly, it's just a new Target location and nothing much more other than being two floors. I wasn't in here for too long before I figured that I probably wouldn't be going out of my way to come here too often and much like I do with Walmart, I'd probably driver further to a better location for a better all around experience whenever I'm in the need to visit a Target. But I will say this location is better than it's closest sister location in Mount Vernon - so for locals, there is that glimmer of hope.I might try coming here again sometime in the new year after things settle to see if things will improve or just be another typical skippable location - but I'm not expecting too much from here.

This brand new Target at the Cross County mall isn’t bad. Some produce and freezer isles are still completely bare, some isles especially the Hot Wheels shelves are such a mess.It does suck to see that this Target has hygiene and laundry detergents locked up behind glass doors like the Target in the South Bronx.. I get this is a way for Target to deter theft, but it creates an annoyance for the customers and especially the employees because when I was here, 5-6 people were asking one employee all at once to open the glass doors with a key to get items they needed. Then once the employee gets the item from the glass door, the employee has to take it to the front checkout counter for the customer to pay for it separately, the customer can’t walk around with the items in the cart while shopping which is truly a disgrace to paying shoppers and a huge annoyance to the employees who never made up these new rules. Stop and Shop in the same mall doesn’t have glass door shelves like this new Target has.It is nice to have a Starbucks inside the Target, but one thing I have to say is that they should regularly clean out the trash bins because it was overflowing all the way to the top, and it looks like it was like that for a few days!Overall I am happy to see a Target come to Yonkers and it is way overdue, and I’m glad that the former Sears store wasn’t just sitting empty for years, it’s also nice that SUNY WCC classes and offices are right upstairs from the Target so students and faculty can just go right downstairs to grab some Starbucks or groceries. It is brand new so there are some things that have to be worked out hopefully in the coming months🤷♂️

So finally made it to target @ Cross County. Lots of items on my list locked up. No one around to open any doors. Lots of shelves bare…it’s two stories, but seems small. Not sure how it will be to shop long term. Will have to consider ordering and then pick up @ store.

Shelves were empty, boxes of inventory still on floor and basic hygiene products are locked behind glass walls with no one around to unlock them. Why would you have deodorant locked up? AirPods or an Xbox I understand, but deodorant? Feels like a slap in the face to the community. Go to Target on Sanford Blvd in MV.

The starbucks employees are so kind and welcoming. They made my drink quickly and suggested alternatives for what they didn’t have. Love that.

Shampoo and deodorant behind glass cabinets feels like a slap in the face to this community, it’s a grand opening why would you have to do this as a store is just opening. It’s AirPods and PlayStations, it’s basic hygiene products. Waited like 10 minutes after asking for someone to open the shampoo side and no one showed up so I left and went to Walgreens down the street and got my shampoo for 35 cents less and didn’t have to wait for someone to unlock and glass cabinet door!!! Insane

I will never shop here again. The employees are ignorant and rude. Target should train their employees to be more professional and respectful.

Been here a couple of times, and I must say a lot of improvements need to be done. I don’t want to go over them, because most of them were already mentioned in the reviews. The holidays are around the corner, and imagine what would happen if the staff at Target don’t get things done right? Hmmm…

Back to Mount Vernon target store…. Lightly stocked, ton of things locked up, the app doesn’t really work at this location. Every time I try to select an item off my list, it changes the location automatically….. they rushed the opening, they were never ready to open this fast…. Aisle location is not clearly indicated. Really confusing.

For a grand opening it really was lackluster. Carts full of inventory waiting to be put on shelves all over the place. Place should of been fully stocked before opening at all. Detergent and other items locked up. What is this the Bronx? Just terrrible
