Do not walk to this groomer, you better run to him. From the initial briefing by phone to the finished result , Richard and his staff, Alex, took pride in providing exceptional and personalized grooming service to our 3lb Mini Yorkie. We walked in with a great behaving, 8 year old dog, but we walked out with an amazing dog that actually wasn’t trembling from a post-grooming appointment, for the very first time! At time of pick up Lola sniffed around and wanted to stay, when normally she bolts out of these establishments. We are not entirely sure what exactly transpired during the span of 1.5 hours, but what what we definitely know is that we found our Forever Groomer. There aren’t enough stars to describe the level of care and attention that goes into the service. Thank you for being in business. Lola will return, time and time again!

I found our groomer! I picked up my dog and she was herself! Last groomer left my dog traumatized and depressed. Richard and Alex are fantastic and I’m so happy I found him. He’s excellent. Will not go anywhere else. He’s kind to the dogs and gets to know them. He has a gift!

I took my two greyhounds to get their nails cut. Richard was gentle and kind with the dogs. He was careful not to cut them too short. We will be going there regularly.

Richard is the best! He’s been grooming my two dogs for eight years. I came to Richard looking for someone who would help me with a tiny dog that seems to bite and another who is blind and get seizures- no one wanted to take a chance with them, but Richard figured out why my 6 lbs, at the time, was biting and he doesn’t do it anymore. The one that is blind he treats as his own, lots of love and care, eight years later never a problem. The most important things for me is that they’re treated well when getting groomed, and I leave them with Richard knowing that they’re safe and cared for.

Long over due review.. however I just want to comment on how amazing of a job Richard does. He truly cares for your pet and treats them kindly and with respect! I once brought my Maltese in and he was FULL of knots.. straight matted. Any other groomer would have shaved him right away while still charging extra$$. Richard took his time and even gave my baby a break time and thoroughly brushed out all his knots and still left him with a beautiful puppy cut exactly how I hoped. I knew going in that he may come out shaved and to my surprised he looked Amazing with the perfect amount of hair!!! Thank you Richard!!!!!! Always a quality grooming experience for my lil man Bent.

If you are looking for the best Groomer and you truly want the best care and haircut for your baby look no further as Richard is the best around!! Not only will your baby get the best haircut, they will receive the best care, attention and love. Richard understands, has patience and a love for animals which is very obvious and the animals love him too.. I have been bringing my Shih-tzu to him for almost 5 years and I would never think of bringing him anywhere else. I came to Richard because where my baby was going they told me he was very difficult and bites. They wanted me to sedate him which I did..what did I know! At that time my dog was 9 years old and he was having issues. I drove past Professional Pet Grooming and made an appointment. The first thing Richard said was do not give him any sedative just let me have some time with him. That was exactly what I wanted to hear and what I was looking for!! Richard will give time and attention to your baby. If you want your pet to have the best care, love, attention and grooming this is the place.You have to have patience as Richard will give you his time and attention. I highly recommend Professional Pet Grooming. Thank you Richard for all the love and caring you have put in with all that come to your shop.

You'll wonder why you haven't gone to Richard sooner. Your pet could not be on better hands. He takes his time and is gentle with animals. Very knowledgeable and cares about animals. I cannot imagine taking my pet elsewhere.

This was my second time taking my dachshund Twinkie to Richard and was excited! He did a beautiful job and it's not easy to find a quality, compassionate groomer that the dog enjoyed.

Wanted to make an appointment for my dog but said he needed his annual shots first. They encouraged us to bring him in before then anyway, despite not having any of his records or (then) expired shot hostory. So just know that they don't check dogs' records, apparently.Appointment was at 10:30. We were there at 10:30. But the owner wasn't there until almost 11. So we had to pay a late fee. Because the owner was late. And we couldn't go into the "closed" shop.They don't tell us any prices up front, the criticize us and our main groomer because our dog's a "biter" and warn that it's gonna cost extra because of his behavior. Our main groomer has no problem putting a muzzle on him and hooking him up to the noose.Multiple times, different people ask us how we want him groomed and we answer the same every single time. No communication between groomers I guess. They don't contact us for HOURS. And don't pick up the phone when we call 3 or 4 times. When we finally get a hold of them at 1:30, they ask once again how we want him cut. The woman on the phone tells us that so far it's up to $200. They say nails would be waaaaay more because he's sooooo difficult. I ask when we can expect to pick him up (as it's been 2 and a half hours now with absolutely no update) and the woman very bluntly says "we'll call you when he's ready."We drive down to see what's going on because we're really upset at that point. When we're finally able to go in they start fighting with us saying we wouldn't understand, it took them 3 hours to groom him, any other groomer would have BEAT HIM. I'm disgusted by that last part.Horrible, terrible people who don't know how to deal with dogs OR their owners. They couldn't even muster up enough brain power to put his harness on the right way when he was done. Please please please don't be fooled by the good reviews. Nasty people who need to go back to grooming school.

was nice on the phone, but when he saw the color of my skin treated me and my pet very poorly. incredibly offensive behavior, called me several racial slurs which I cant even bear repeating. worst mistake of my freakin life !!
