Very clean store, Everything was well stocked, also what I think is very important is price tagging and this Lowe's was very good at it, everything was priced tagged properly. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Easy to find what you need and even bought things that I did not need but because the price was right I had to buy. Garden plant selection was very impressive. I totally recommend this store. Actually my new favorite store.

Visited Lowe’s in Ridge Hill the employees on the floor were super helpful. The customer service are was a mess. Four people standing around chatting and took a few minutes before being acknowledged. After telling them that i picked up an item and it was the last one on the shelf and the box was damaged and if there was any way I could get a discount they all looked at me like I was crazy. So I asked for the manager. They called him and told him asked what he wanted them to do and I could hear him on the phone with a rude response. I waited he them approached me and asked what is the problem. I repeated myself he said he was going to open and inspect the box. Which he did then he told me to take the things out and check them. I tried then I said no I can the items in the box are heavy. His reply was “ well I can not honor a discount if you don’t see where anything is missing “. This was with a nasty attitude. So I asked so you are not going to give a discount because the box is damaged. He replied “ I am not honoring a discount there is nothing missing from the box “. I told him I don’t know if anything is missing I know the box is damaged he said I have to look in the box and he is not honoring anything. With that I told him Thanks and asked to be cashed out. This manager need to be trained and needs to train his people. They are all rude alike. The only reason why I continued with the purchase was because I needed the item. I would never visit that Lowe’s again. Piss poor Service. Piss poor attitude.

I just got home from the Ridge Hill Store and couldn’t wait to give a positive review about Willy, a supervisor in Lumber. I had met him 2 years ago and was just as impressed today as I was then. This employee goes above and beyond!Today, he helped me and my daughter with a project my daughter is doing. As Willy was helping her, I was able to see how he engaged with other employee’s and how much they liked and thought highly of him. It made sense why he is a supervisor as he not only respects the customers but those that work for him. He was so patient in how he listened to my daughter so he can help us with getting the perfect materials for her project. He even thought ahead about other things she would need, asking about and recommending things like paint, plexiglass, and post/concrete, and even knew the aisles to find it in the store. Wow!Although we ran out of time and had to get home we will absolutely be returning to get the items he recommended. Hat’s off to Lowe’s for hiring someone as welcoming, knowledgeable, and hardworking as Willy is!

I love Lowe's store, especially the one at Ridge Hill in Yonkers. The manager- Jamar is the friendliest individual I have met so far in store of its kind. Customer service is second to none and the atmosphere is super clean. Rich from the outside garden is an extraordinary personality. The associates give customers individual attention and I was surprised as compared to the poor service at other building material stores.

My husband and I waited 45 minutes in the flooring department for somebody to help us get a rug. We contacted 4 different employees and they all said “someone is coming”.. but nobody came. Talked to the manager and he apologized, but didn’t even offer to get the rug for us.Another time, we rung that bell at the Thermostat department multiple times, and it kept announcing in the store that a customer needs assistance at the thermostat department. Nobody came, we stood there for 15 minutes. We flagged down an employee who said “I don’t work in thermostats”. So we got our thermostats from Costco. They have a generous return policy as well, so why waste our time in this store.Home Depot is a much better store where employees actually care about the place. Please avoid Lowe’s.

This place is a joke. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Faulty appliances and horrible service. I purchased a washing machine and the first time I tried to use it, it malfunctioned. They refuse to return my money because it happened after 48hrs of purchase. They continue to send technicians to service and change parts on this supposedly new appliance, and no resolution. They tell me that the tech has to deem it unrepairable in order for “next steps” to be taken. However, the tech tells me that he isn’t allowed to deem it unrepairable, they will simply continue to send a tech to “repair” it. I’ve asked after how many attempts at repairing can something else be done, and no one was able to give an answer. I asked the customer service rep for a phone number for corporate or someone higher who is able to either give me an answer or a resolution— the response was that there isn’t anyone else for me to contact and that there is nothing else that can be done. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Love Lowe’s for their selection. Ed in customer service was extremely helpful & knowledgeable. Would have given 5 stars but the initial interaction with the first associate was terrible. He left me standing in lighting for 15 minutes without help. Ultimately I bought a beautiful Quoizel chandelier and lightbulbs.

Went in to the Ridgehill store to take advantage of their plant sale. Got our herbs ar 3 for ten and some ornamental flowering plants at four for ten. Large selection available and line moved quickly.

I would like to commend Assistant Store Manager, Wayne Rutty, for his outstanding and professionalism in my return transaction of a washer.Mr. Rutty listened to my complaints and concerns, he was patient, expressed his support and understanding for my concerns in addition he assured me he would do his best to provide me a resolution for my issue.Before I left the y Mr Rutty arranged for a removal of the washer in place with another.I thank you Mr Rutty for Customer Service well done!Jacqueline Wright

This Lowe's location has the worst customer service desk, anywhere. Even the HD down the road is better. I just spent 15 minutes waiting in line with one person at the return counter, who announced at least 4 times over the speaker for someone to come help him because it was "code 3"... and after all that I was told that the store has a discretionary policy where they don't accept returns without a receipt. This was for something I bought just last week. May be try having written policies instead of putting your customers at the manager's whim.Update: In case you think Lowe's comment below fixed anything: it didn't. They just commented for me to call their standard support line. It had a 45-minute wait. When I finally got a human on the other end, they of course couldn't tell me anything I didn't already know or help me in any way with my return.

I purchased a dishwasher on August 26, 2023 online.The model was a  Frigidaire Front Control 24-in Built-In Dishwasher (Black) ENERGY STAR, 55-dBA Item #1054480 | Model #FFCD2413UB  It was installed on Monday, September 25, 2023. However, it didn't turn on.  Another dishwasher had to be reordered.  A work order was put in. The installers returned on Oct. 6th with a different dishwasher. They installed the second dishwasher on Friday, Oct. 6th. It didn't turn on. They came back with an electrician and the power was connected.We tried it that evening.  However, it didn't wash on any of the wash settings. We were not satisfied with this dishwasher. We called the Lowe's install office where the work order was placed.  She issued a refund. It was initiated with Lowe’s within 48 hours of delivery and installation.The installers picked up the dishwasher on Oct. 13th and returned it to the store. I called Lowes Yonkers to confirm with Stephanie or James in receiving that the dishwasher was returned.  Stephanie confirmed that it was received and that the refund would be processed within 10-14 business days.John, who installed the dishwasher, sent me a picture of the returned dishwasher in the store.Yet the refund has not been sent to me.When will this refund be finalized?Today at 9 AM, I called the store to be passed from one associate to another. Then, I am told to wait again until "the right associate" comes back to confirm AGAIN that the dishwasher was received back at the store.

05/28/23 730 am. When Ridge Hill opened it's retail doors, Lowes became an anchor store. It's competition, Home Depot, directly across 87, gave this Lowes a rough start due to the lack of foot traffic. A few years later, Lowes is as active as Home Depot. Ridge Hill Lowes has a large garden center with many choices for landscaping and holiday outdoor decor. Other departments are well stocked, isles are clean, plenty of customer assistance, Parking is the best you will find at any home improvement store in Westchester County NY.Today, we shopped for a BBQ grill for Memorial Day and a bird bath for my memorial garden. Alexis helped me select the right Blackstone grill. I asked a few questions regarding the grill and surprised me that he knew such detail. He helped me and my husband load the large cumbersome box on the cart. In the gardening Dept, we were assisted by John and Bob who helped me select the ceramic bird bath, cleaned it and prepped it for travel. At the register, even though it was self check out, Judy was helpful looking up a sku to pay for my bird bath. On past purchases at this store, Judy has consistently been professional and helpful. All in all, shopping on one of the busiest holidays, our shopping experience was trouble free and efficient. We recommend you visit for your next home improvement project.

I came in looking for a particular battery pack that had a promotion going to give a drill for free. Naturally, it could not be found, although the site said it had ‘29 in stock’. The sales associate Joshua from tool world, did not stop looking until he found it for me in a box on a pallet, in the place that it was NOT listed to be. Special thank you to Joshua for your patience and assistance. The effort alone made me wait to complete the purchase.

When I arrived at the store only one person in appliance section helping someone,walked around to kill sometime when I went back nobody available at appliance. Ended up ordering my washer from the app everything was find I picked it up delivered it myself installed as well everything working until Tuesday when my wife before leaving from work tried to use machine didn’t work called Lowe’s said appliances only have a 48hr refund wish someone told me that before leaving the store. I paid almost 1G for a new machine all I get told is deal with manufacturer cuz the return period has expired. Look at pictures told them mold on rubber old detergent. Had to put duck tape cuz the zip ties was low rusted clip for drain, the window on the door idk what is on it looks foggy, dust around the edges of the rubber this is a brand new machine all I get told is deal with manufacturer. I paid for a new machine not a clearance or open box I paid for a new machine. Update after there response to my review was a waste of time why ask to call you and tell me someone will call you nobody has called me. Lowe’s doesn’t care about quality. Don’t spend your money here. After making take machine to store all managers had to say is (store doesn’t give used machine) like 100 time delan manager didn’t even bother to even look like he wanted to help. Made me more angry ended up leaving without machine left there garbage there… don’t buy from this store

Want to say that Andrew at the Lowe’s Ridge Hill location did a great job helping me out with what I needed. I really appreciate his help and patience. It was definitely the best service I’ve received at any Lowe’s location.

No good service ,your casher at seft check out made me very upset. I went to home depot and I received way better service there. Further more I didn't get what needed to buy at Lowe's. I never want to shop lowe's at these location.

I spend $180 on 2 pieces of wood. Come to find out 1 was warped. We had already put together the cabinets to notice this defect as the doors are going in. I called to say I need an exchange and the manager said no you need to bring the whole sheet back. I had it cut into several pieces at Lowe’s. Does she expect me to disassemble the cabinet and bring that back to the store? Ridiculous. Don’t buy lumber from Lowe’s, go to Home Depot. Rude manager and horrible way to treat a customer who spends a lot of money here regularly.

The WORSE Lowe's Customer Service (or lack thereof) I have ever experienced in my life. Everyone who answers the phone is extremely rude, or I am kept on hold for long periods of time with no pickup (I literally have to call from a different phone to have another person pickup and then I am able to hang up my other line; This is after 15 minutes of hold time -_-); Purchased a fridge online...Day of delivery (it snowed...light flurries nonetheless, but enough for the deplorable delivery team to cancel my order :-/); When I call customer service corp to get a refund I am told within 3-5 business days (granted same schpeel as all places, so I already expected that) The problem...? I wasn't refunded my entire amount; Mind you I paid $50.00 haul away service + delivery fee, however no refrigerator was ever hauled away (or even touched!); and no fridge was even taken out of the truck nor delivered...So why on earth was I credited $85.00 less than what I originally paid for??...For something that I never got!!....Fast forward to calling customer service...I am told to call the store that fulfilled my order (The Yonkers store -_-), and to physically go there with proof of purchase....Are you insane?? Mind you I have a Lowes 5 min. from my house that I frequent. I then call the Yonkers store who said I have to speak to the "fulfillment center." In a condescending manner I am told, "M'aam...Let me explain it again, so you're not confused. Like excuse me?!? Why am I on the phone for an HOUR to resolve a situation that I had no control over that has given nothing, but aggravation?? And why are you trying insult my intelligence when y'all can't even follow-up on the simple things you say you'll do? Like a callback & simple store credit? Because I was credited incorrectly from the store, I have to now call another fulfillment center? $3,244.00 charge for a fridge and no "fridge", no "full refund," no "callbacks" (I was told TWICE that I will receive a call within 24 hours and twice it has not happened), & no good "customer service." Do yourself a favor and RUNNN away from this store location!

didn't want to share my experience b/c i think no review is a review itself but b/c my issue is still on going I feel like I need to. initially ordered cabinets through Lowe's back in October, the designer lied and said the cabinets would be delivered within 3-5 weeks (it ended up being 7 weeks). This is very upsetting since that was the selling point, the timeframe. Had I known the actual timeline I would have gotten my cabinets somewhere else for 6k less since the other places were quoting me the same timeframe. But Cabinets were finally delivered but unfortunately the sink base came damaged. They placed an expressed order which I was told would take 3 weeks, again that was a lie as it will be 6 weeks. We're now basically in December and I still have no kitchen even though all this was placed back in October

I was pleasantly surprised with this Lowe’s. We’ve been going to Home Depot for our home improvement needs. And wow what a difference !! Lowe’s is clean, organized, have helpful staff that are around to answer questions. So pretty much the complete opposite of HD near Costco 😂🤣We’ll be returning, they have everything!

I visited this Lowe's in search of some kitchen cabinets. I remember when the store first opened you had no trouble getting help from a store associate. All you had to do was look puzzled or confused. This was not the case during my visit to the store. The countertops were not properly signed with pricing or size information. It was all but a wasted trip.

If I could give Lowe’s zero stars I would. This delivery service they offer is a joke. They gave me a four hour window of time when they would be delivering my merchandise and they showed up two hours later then stated time and never called me to tell me they’re running behind. . Thanks to them screwing this up on my delivery it completely turned my day upside down. Why do they give a window of time where you would be delivering the merchandise and not stick to it or at the very least call to say that you’re running behind so I could do other things instead of waiting at home all day. I highly doubt I will be shopping here ever again. And to add insult to injury my order was missing a few things and I asked the driver and they said we’re sorry it didn’t meet the truck just go into the Lowe’s and they will give you the missing merchandise as long as you provide a receipt for the merchandise that is missing. GAH!!!!
