This review is ONLY for the pharmacy section; service is very poor, the worst. Not organized at all. They NEVER answer the phone. They have staff that appear to be miserable working there. No one to complaint to. Service is awful. Need a whole new pharmacy team/staff.

One star is one too many. This is not the first time a prescription has sat for days without being filled. I wasted 30 minutes on hold before hanging up and calling CVS customer support. After another 30 minutes, the rep came back on and told me she could not get through to the store either. She also informed me that since it is in a processing status, I can't transfer the prescription. She suggested I go to the store to have the status changed in order to transfer the script. Absolutely horrible!

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Kimberly’s name was on the receipt but I’m pretty sure the extremely rude workers name is Tameicka in the pharmacy department she is terrible. I was being kind and handed her an open product that was on the shelf so a new customer wouldn’t purchase something that was opened and she had the nerve to tell me that’s not in her job description and to deal with the front. I had 4 prescriptions for pickup and was buying some drinks along with them and her co worker to the side of her who wasn’t wearing a name tag laughed at me with a rude look on her face insinuating they didn’t want to ring me up because I had a front store product. I have been coming here since they opened many years ago and have never had this issue. I also worked for the company for 12 years and was always taught the customer is always right. This is the worst pharmacy around, if you want to be on the longest lines where your prescriptions are never ready then this is the pharmacy for you.

I purchased L’Oréal Self Tan Cream Radiance. It was in a Dark Plastic Bottle. Usually it is in a Golden plastic Bottle. I used an App 35% off. When I got outside, I put a drop on finger & it was full of Glitter.I went back inside, picked up Aussie Gold Sun Tan Bronzer. Went to Check out, returned the L’Oréal & it was refunded. When Cashier rang up the Aussie Gold, it was Full Price. I mentioned the 35% off & she said it was gone.She called over Chris, store manager & he said once it’s been used it can’t be used again because it’s gone from App.I asked him to override manually, because I haven’t gotten any item for 35% off. He refused & walked away. I was so annoyed, I returned the other items I purchased.It will be a Long Time before I ever go back to CVS. Walgreens is Across the Street & they Always Make things right!😤🤬😡

This CVS pharmacy is horrible!!! They need better management. The wait times are horrendous because they misplaced everyone’s medication so they walking around back and forth searching while the pharmacist is so lazy she does nothing to make it better. The state needs to be called.

I bought American Express gift card from CVS at Nepperhan Avenue Yonkers for $330 At the time My daughter activate the card 2 AM the balance going down to zero someone use the card number at a place that sells windows and glass 2 AM in the morning When I went back to the store and explained to them, what happened the manager manager over there told me Time that happens the scammers they have a way to go to the shelf The number behind the card and they have a way to Steal the money at the time the person activate the card, and he Said we should put these cards behind the counter, so no one can steal The numbers that comes behind the card so They have this problem before and customers been complaining until today Will see the cards outside to give the cameras more chances to steal people money And when you try to get help from them to get your money back, they tell you call the customer service You imagine how many people bought gift cards drawing the holiday? And I’m sure at least 70% of these people will lose their money When you give a gift card to someone and then this person find out there is zero money And the account he will not come and tell you your card was empty is embarrassing Because you gave it to a loved one as a gift If you have this problem before, and you keep doing the same mistakes with your customers Without giving them back what they lost this is very bad for your business for your reputation Do not buy gift cards from CVS. Maybe the scammer is from the inside You will lose your money and they cannot do anything for you. All they have to do is take your cash and put it in their cash Register and take their commission and send the money To AMEX THAT’S IT AND THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT YOU AS A Customer

8.28.22 revising my review because they’ve gotten a lot better in the past few weeks👍Out of stock with medications all the time, they wont answer the phone when you call. Every month I have a 5-7 day period where I have to go without my daily medications because they take several days to realize they’re out of stock, and then another few days to get medications in. Text messages, online status, and in-store information is all different. One of the pharmacists is kind, another is very curt. I feel bad because the staff is nice. But they need to completely overhaul their process.

Do not bother calling the pharmacy you will be on hold until the team goes on lunch then the phone hangs up on you. This place use to be good when they first opened but now it's a lack of staff and people choose not to pick up the phone. I literally was on hold for 2 hours then I drove there to see and hear my phone call still on hold. The system tells them that there is a call waiting to be picked up "one pharmacy call holding" to be exact. Then when I confronted them and showed them my cell phone the pharmacy technician did not know how to answer me. He could not understand why was I still on hold on my phone if am in the store. Well the ananswer to that question is simply because there are no lines I was seen right away so why is answering the phone so hard. 🤔

Horrendous customer service. I’ve gotten 2 phone messages that my prescription is ready. I never submitted one nor do I have automatic refills. The same thing happened previously and I was assured it would be corrected. I’ve called numerous times in the mornings, daytime, and evening to speak to someone. After going through the ridiculous phone tree and waiting on endless hold, I’ve had to hang up each time I reached the store manager and he said he can’t help, the pharmacy is very busy, blah blah. Is this an insurance scam?

I have updated my store review to a #1! Unfortunately, I no longer shop or pick up my prescriptions at this location. You know it’s a shame that two local area pharmacies are not performing well at all! You have Prospect St at the ShopRite location and now this location!? CVS, Walgreens and Duane Reade, pay your employees more hourly wages! CVS is amongst the worst as far as productive response to filling medications, answering phone calls and restocking orders!You have to do more HR and now as you may notice, more pharmacies are cutting back hours!?

Where do I begin?.... I received a text stating that I could pick up medicine but once I arrive, I still have to wait for my prescription because it's not filled. Then I recently went to pick up a refill of my medication that was previously filled, but now because it's a controlled substance l had to wait for my doctor's response. But wasn't it a controlled substance when I picked it up the first time, along with my other medication? After waiting for almost an hour and going back and forth, they wanted me to wait 10 more minutes to refresh their computer to see if my doctor responded. Absolutely not! Not to mention the phone is, was, and will be constantly ringing with no regards to the person on the line. Tried to call corporate... THEY DIDN'T ANSWER! My last time dealing with this pharmacy.

Mismanaged Pharmacy. They almost never answer the pharmacy phone. Prior to dealing with this store, I’ve never encountered a pharmacy that was unaware that it was out of a particular drug and needed three - four days to get it in supply. Worse, they rarely make any prescription prior to your arrival. Bring your lunch, because you’re in for a 30 to 60 minute wait. It’s deplorable. I’m considering driving to a CVS further away to get regular/good CVS customer service. I hope your experience is better than the other people who give this store (#10040) thumbs down.

Never answer the phones when you call. Sometimes completely out if prescribed medication and have to wait till they get their orders back in. Better going off to a smaller mom and pop pharmacy. These big chained pharmacies are ridiculous.

Overall this pharmacy is good when you go to the store. However don't try to get them on the phone. On at least 5 occasions I tried to reach the pharmacy by phone. I waited over an hour and a half each time. The last time I drove out to ask my questions. This is crazy.

Got two text messages that my prescriptions were filled and ready to pick up. Waiting on very long line to pick them up just for them to tell me they aren't ready. Told the guy that I got a text 2 days ago saying they were filled. He said they were still filling them and then became hostile towards me and told me to come back later. The pharmacy staff all needs to be replaced. Countless reviews have pointed out how horrendous their customer service is. On top of that, everything in the store is 2-3x more expensive than anywhere else. This CVS is not needed and should be shut down.

Today I went to CVS at nepperhan ave to pick up a medication and I had a horrible experience with Emily Moroz. She was very rude, unprofessional and speaking to the front employees in a very bad manner. I'll never go to this pharmacy. She has to respect her customers , I also work 10 hours in the medical field and I'm never rude with coworkers or patients.

Horrible experience with the pharmacy dept. Rx was sent to CVS on Friday & I went to pick rx up on Monday, was told rx was hold & they know why. While they had 7 employees behind the pharmacy window they told me come back to tge drop in window when its open. Workers are very nonchalant & didnt even try to help me.
