This CVS at 132 Bronx River Road is the friendliest, nicest, store in Yonkers, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I just wish the pharmacy staff had more help, they work really hard but it’s always so busy and they could really use the extra help other than that the store is very clean and ever since new management the store is always stocked with all of the items I need too!

I’ve been coming to this CVS ever since I can remember. Understandably everything is needing to be locked up to prevent items being stolen. However when ringing the customer service button you’ll be standing there for 4 minutes waiting before pressing it again. And most of the time someone will never come to assist you. However today I’m standing in the deordorant aisle waiting for assistance after pressing the button for a second time. And I’m listening to the employees talk about how a coworker wasn’t here for a shift (I know their story now). Has anyone helped? No. Hire more staff because this is frustrating.

Same story again…call the CVS pharmacy multiple times in the past two days to listen to music play for over 30 minutes. Called the CVS corporate office requested customer service to the electronic operator when transferred I received a busy signal. Then called back to CVS to the front cashier and asked for manager was told no manager but would get the supervisor. After asking if the pharmacy was opened and explaining the reason for my call he was going to transfer my call back there I told him no since the same thing would happen. He did go back and tell pharmacist who did pick up. My prescription was not there and I was told when they get a lot of prescriptions some are lost in transmission and to have my doctor resend it again. She also indicated they are understaffed and doing the best that they can. I feel bad for the staff but this has been the same excuse for over a year now where is CVS corporate management?

There I was surrounded by Karen’s and Kevin’s when Skye appeared. She single handedly fended off the angry mob while working the self checkout, cash registers, pharmacy, inventory, and security jobs all at once. I’ve never seen such professionalism at a CVS. This is the only CVS I’ll ever shop at again.

If you have the option to change your pharmacy/drug store DO IT. There is always a line at pharmacy. The pharmacists don’t take time to help you. Good luck trying to call and speak to a pharmacist on the phone - this is my 6th time calling since they opened. Im currently on hold for 12 mins and still no answer. Also they close for lunch, which I understand - but why not stagger the lunch breaks or keep the lunch time a consistent time. You never know when they are closed. You make the trip there and guess what closed for an hour. Everyday it’s a different time. Super inconvenient for patients.Everything, I mean EVERYTHING is locked up. So be prepared to be constantly pressing buttons to get someone to open a lock for you. Also, be prepared to stand there waiting for someone to come because they are short staffed. Many times, I had to go to the front to ask for assistance.After being there for 15 years, I am finally leaving CVS. I suggest you do the same.

Terrible customer service. This store advertises itself as a UPS drop off point as I guess they want to get foot traffic in their door for their incredibly inflated prices on everything on their shelves. Last week I brought five Amazon returns for a UPS drop off. They were basically legal envelope size, all five. They said their UPS guy could only take up to four packages and they couldn't take more than four. So I had to find another place to drop them off, which was fine as it was a weekday. Highly recommend Merk Chemist McLean or the UPS store on McLean. Today is Sunday and the other two stores are closed at the moment and I just had a single package to drop off this weekend. I went to drop off a package that was less than the size of two shoe boxes put together would fall under there random four package or less rule as it was just a single package. They said that their UPS guy won't take large packages. Apparently that's large. If they aren't going to take UPS packages that are well within a standard size they shouldn't advertise themselves as a drop point. Wasted 15 minutes of my time waking there and 15 minutes coming back with the same package under my arm.

This place is horrible. The pharmacy department is very poorly run. The wait time to pick up a prescription is very long. There is usually only one person distributing prescription. Your prescription might be filled for days and you wont know unless you call and by the way don’t waste your time calling because no one answers. The isles are usually messy. There is no one on the floor to help. I will assume inventory shrinkage is very high since there are no employees on the floor.

The pharmacy technician, or pharmacist was extremely nasty. She has a terrible attitude and should not be there. if she does not WANT to be on her feet all-day, she should seek another profession. I will definitely contact the NYS Office of Professional Discipline...

This cvs location is horrible , the workers are mainly Hispanic women with attitudes . Not much diversity at this location for the neighborhood that’s very diverse . The workers does not greet , gives nasty stare , are mainly huddled in groups speaking about the customers or just gossiping . The body language is horrible and nobody tries to help resolve problems . I only go here because of my medication and occasionally pick up other items which is always a mess also but I rather not travel far to get my meds .. this place has bad energy and no customer service . If u ask anyone of them a question they act like they don’t hear you . The manger hires her friends and family members so this place is horrible .

WORST SERVICE EVER. I called 15 minutes before 9pm and spoke to the Pharmacy Department about a prescription I NEEDED to pick up. I explain to the associate that I am in traffic and may reach about 9:05pm, can they please wait so I can get my prescription. I then called the store back again and spoke to the pharmacy and explained where I was, and that I will probably arrive 9:02-9:05. I was blocks away. I arrived in the store 9pm on the dot. The pharmacy gate was closed and I asked to get prescription, the store manager was counting out the register, and the guy at the pharmacy said sorry we are close. I looked at my phone and told them it is 9:01. I called and spoke to you and told you I was coming. You knew I was coming, I begged and asked and explained I NEEDED the prescription. The pharmacy associates rushed out the store while I try to talk to the manager. The manager said the pharmacy is separate from the store and out of her control. She did nothing to try to help. This is my local CVS, and I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. I've been shopping here 10+ years. This was ridiculous. They practically closed the department before 9pm knowing that I was on my way. They should have told me not to come on the phone. Instead they told me I should come and try. I am highly disappointed and deeply frustrated.

Very good "drug" store. It has much more than that. It's a good place to buy last minute items from food, drinks, to party planning. The pharmacy section is usually prompt with prescriptions and helpful when you have questions.

For the most Part I used to like shopping here, you can definitely find everything you want or need, and I love the fact there IS SELF CHECKOUT... But what I dislike is the new Hires. Is like they do not want to help at all.. 😡😡😡 all the products are not in the system, so you have to wait for an employee to come and input the information only after waiting 10 min for him to acknowledge you or the issue your having... 😶😶😶😶

I know that we are struggling to find people who will work. I know that. But, I mean hours on hold for the pharmacy is just not okay. If you cannot staff the store, then it should close. It is too frustrating to figure out if your medication is going to be ready or not.

I never write reviews but I’m writing this as I’ve now been waiting for 45 minutes for my scheduled Covid booster. No one apologized and the woman who gave me the shot was so rushed and visibly stressed it made me really anxious and uncomfortable. Worst cvs experience I’ve ever had.

I like this CVS because its small, compact and convenient. However the female floor manager is fairly nice when you do get her to assist you, but its hard getting her to come. She is very engaged with young male assistant manager who is temperamental and doesnt realize that this industry is one of service and not to mistaken for a modeling job. He pretends not to hear the customers at times when he is in the isles and you try to get his attention -he and the store manager seems more interested in engaging each other than they do customers. Lots of immaturity on the floor with these two

I have never written such a lengthy review about anything, but as a courtesy I felt it would be beneficial to the greater goods.I’ve given this pharmacy multiple chances, but they always have an excuse when it comes to filling my Perscriptions!!The first time I had an issue was when I went to fill a prescription. I dropped it off on a Tuesday. They said they had to order it and it would come in the next day. I came in on Friday after I receive a text message alert to come pick up my prescription on Thursday. I arrived at the CVS Pharmacy and they told me they didn’t order the medication or even process the prescription as it was still in the basket next to their computer!!! I had to go to another CVS 30 minutes away to go get it!!! I wasn’t even given a courtesy phone call to inform me if there were any issues even after I had received a text message saying my prescription was ready. This happened about 2 months ago.I’m currently sit waiting for yet a different prescription and they told me 25-30 minutes. I went to grab something to eat and came back 45-60 minutes later. I asked for my prescription and it looks like they still didn’t even process the prescription. I was told 15 minutes because they are backed up. I will never come back to this CVS. I will be transferring all my perscriptions to a different pharmacy. It is ridiculous the lack of communication between the staff in the pharmacy and their customers. They couldn’t have been that backed up because about 3 people back there weren’t doing anything. I’m incredibly sick and shouldn’t have had to gone through that. What’s worse is the two senior citizens in front of me went through the same ordeal as I did. DO NOT GO TO THIS CVS PHARMACY!

Super busy. One person visibly working. Absolutely chaotic between customers waiting on line to be assisted, and others having trouble with the self checkout. Waited half an hour to be told the passport photo pulldown wasn't working, after calling ahead 2 hours before and was told they were currently doing photos.

I have come to the cvs pharmacy for the past 3 years with no real issues.Recently, I visited this pharmacy on a week day after work to pick up a prescription which was sent over electronically. Seems simple enough. The line was long, longer than i have ever seen here before. Then it become clear why, the pharmacist on staff was overwhelmed, seemingly undertrained with zero customer service skills.She made so many mistakes, below is a list of the most notable:1) told me cvs didn’t have the medication, then she found it (the tech handed it to her)2) even after she talk to the doctor because she didn’t understand the script the prescription was improperly filled for the patients age (which i pointed out to her and she “fixed”)3) upon arriving home i realized i was dispensed only a 3 day supply when the script stated 5 days (not sure if i paid for 3 or 5 days). By this time cvs was closed4) when i expressed concerns i was not provided with counselingI called CVS customer service to voice this complaint but after being on hold 30 minutes...google review it is.

I have prescriptions filled at another CVS location, including one that my health insurance pays about $55,000 a year for, and must be filled only by CVS. I was walking by this location, and had $5 Extra Care Rewards, or whatever they call it, from their loyalty program, that I wanted to use up, and which stated that it was valid for a minimum $5 purchase. I walked in and took 2 cans of salmon, which were on sale for 2/$5. I went to the self checkout, scanned my CVS card, the items, and the CVS Extra Care coupon, as indicated by the self service system/screen. The screen said something about 'requesting assistance', and a CVS employee came over. He looked at the transaction ($5 purchase minus $5 CVS Extra Care Reward = $0), stole the items (as explained later) from me, and stated "CVS isn't going to give you that for free". I left, and a couple of days later attempted to use my Extra Care Reward for something else at a different location. When the cashier scanned the CVS Extra Care coupon, he told me that it was not valid, as the system stated that it was already used it on the date I attempted to use it at this store, therefore informing me that the employee at this store stole my items, as I was charges $5 in CVS Extra Care Rewards for the items he took away from me.

Well I have to say that this place used to be amazing. Over the past year or so, the pharmacy has become atrocious. Medications are never ready when you go to pick them up. Everytime my doctor sends in a prescription, I have to wait or come back the next day. Usually they claim that they didnt receive it in order to buy some time. I'm about to switch back to a local mom and pop that I used to go to. It's out of the way now but it will be worth it.

This pharmacy has to be the worst in Yonkers by far. Everytime I’ve been here, my prescription has not been ready. This last time, I called 3 hours in advance at 5pm and was told “It will be ready in 30min”. And here I am sitting here at 840pm and I’m told “We’re still working on it.”Without a doubt changing Pharmacies.

I called the pharmacy regarding a prescription for my father and was hung up on 2 times. The third time, Sarah, the pharmacist, picked up. She was was very rude. Instead of telling me she was aware of the situation she just started barking at me. Hey, Sarah, you should stick to filling prescriptions because you’re aweful at speaking to customer.
