Lots of nice people work here. Unfortunately it no longer has a meat counter. Everything is packaged. Many items they've carried are no longer available on the shelves. It's a busy place not sure why Hannaford headquarters is neglecting this store. The new Brunswick location has Everything and is almost always empty !

The store layout is different than I'm used to at my usual Hannaford. This one doesn't carry the same goods in the bakery. I was disappointed but I came to this Hannaford because Jack's was open and I was picking up dinner from them to take home. Oh well, live and learn

They always seem like they’ve just been hit with a wave of people and they’re out of things. No matter what time of day you go. Something is completely depleted. Today it was the produce section. It was like they removed a lot of stuff. There were a lot of empty bins. Hannaford in this area is my go to when I need one or two things it’s not my regular grocery shop because sadly they just don’t carry enough of what I need. I do consider it a small town grocery store where people chat, the employees are generally happy. It’s a nice clean, little store for the occasional item you need.

I do have to say that Every time I have done my shopping here at this Hannaford store location in wynanskill it's always been a very pleasant experience. The employees are also very happy to assist you with anything you may need and happy to do so..

The manager that was working at this Hannaford when I went grocery shopping today was rude and insensitive. I kindly explained an item was incorrectly put in the gluten free section. He told me I misunderstood the sign as the item was organic and didn’t have to be gluten free to be in that section. I was extremely offended. The sign says organic and natural and gluten free in yellow.

Clean, efficient layout, excellent and diverse product selection. Staff helpful and a good mix of self checkout and staffed checkout. Also has a Citizens Bank satellite branch and ATM in the front of the store.

I've gone here for decades to shop but lately I'm hard pressed to find anything I'm there for. And I'm not the only one to think so. Many people I've spoken to, even a former employee, said the west sand lake Hannaford has more items on shelves. Not too long ago, they went 2 weeks without any ground beef! Wish I could give a better review but it's not getting any better and other stores aren't having this issue.

Fresh Flowers, produce, and bread. The bakery is a little weak in selections and freshness. Finding a roaster chicken that is not organic is like trying to find toilet paper during a pandemic. However, they make up for it everywhere, else in the store. Big selection of different foods, chips, drinks, snacks, butter, milk, soy milk, yogurt, berries, flower, nuts, and etc. I enjoy shopping here.

The produce section is usually stocked with fresh options and good sales. We love the plant-based products! Regular sales on avocados and good quality lettuce are some of our favorites. The employees are often quick to help with questions.

Usually have a pleasant enough experience here. My last time, however, the associate wouldn’t allow me to purchase alcohol for myself because my 16-year-old sister could not provide them with an ID; mind you, she had already checked out and paid for her items. Don’t really understand why that is necessary when I am of legal age and the one purchasing it. Think they need a better system of handling these types of situations.

This Hannaford may serve a smaller community of Wynantskill and outer Troy but it supplies a robust amount of food for a range of folks. It’s no Whole Foods of international choices but we have been very pleased with how often we can shop ONLY at this Hannaford and get everything we need each week. Even being weirdo vegans, we have options here at Hannaford. I love it. It’s clean, never too busy, inside and outside are well maintained , AND the staff is always friendly!

I just have to give a shout out to the Hannaford To Go Staff. My family and I have been using their pick up service since even before COVID. The staff is always very courteous and has gone above and beyond on multiple occasions for us. It is so helpful, especially with two young children, to have this option. Thank you all for your hard work !

The aisles are wider than Price Chopper's, which makes for more comfortable shopping. The prices seemed lower, too, on the things I was buying. Super friendly cashier and bagger - helpful and polite. Good shopping trip! I do have a couple of complaints: this Hannaford does not have an olive bar, salad bar, or hot bar (like the Wolf Road Hannaford). Miss those! Also, I really needed Pam cooking spray and there was not a single can on the shelf! Must have been a sale, but this is unacceptable.

It's odd to see the cat food section bare- every once in a while I'll hit it just right- and the shelves will be semi full- I do like this store- it's always clean - and carries most thing that I need

This is the best closest big box grocery store. Produce is pretty good most of the time. Easy enough to find time when it's not too busy. Staff and customers are pretty good with masks and COVID things.

I always have a positive experience here. Their prices are good, and I have Hannaford Rewards, which is amazing! If you don't have the rewards app, you are missing out. You get coupons, money back for buying certain products, and sometimes even free stuff.

The employee I was rung out by was approached and told by another employee (older woman) that I did not look old enough to purchase alcohol, after I furnished my proper, LEGAL ID. Was told they would not sell the me the alcohol, I informed them to call the police as it is my LEGAL ID. Was then told if I didn't scan, I would not be sold my beer. Which I understand, however My ID scanned and I was able to purchase it. I will no longer be a customer here. Poor customer service and EXTREMELY rude.

A pretty standard supermarket. The aisles are filled with displays and stands of merchandise making it hard to navigate. If your children are like mine, they'll be grabbing things off the shelves from their seat in the cart while you're trying to avoid hitting the stands and other shoppers.The bottle return machines and drop off option are obnoxious, use 6 Cent redemption down the road instead.

I have no idea why they believe that closing off one entrance, and making everyone line up in one line to check out is somehow more sanitary. now everyone is going in and out the same door, and lining up clustered together, same with the deli counter. There is no way to "social distance" that way... I have never run into so many people as I do now they they are implementing these "safety" measures. and the arrows in the aisles are just patronizing. the employee standing at the door to police our masks is really insulting too. I avoid shopping here as often as possible.

This Grocery store is of a medium size but has a high variety of grocery goods to chose from and the layout makes it easy to find what you need. The employees were efficent and friendky. The prices here are acceptable but not low cost. Parking can be dense at busy times.

I love this place! As a dude with a weird veganish diet, they have pretty much everything. And moreover for my regular-diet wife and kids, they pretty much have everything. Staff is always really nice!

I love their shopping program. It has strengths and weaknesses. This Hannaford is great for package cured sliced meats, baked breads, fresh produce, large spice selection and organic and vegetarian/vegan options. The deli section and seafood section are small.

Dear Hannaford Wynantskill and Hannaford Customers,I recently purchased a case of beer and bag of chips at a self checkout kiosk. Unbeknownst to myself I was charged for two cases of beer and an additional item that was not part of my purchase and I did not scan. WITHOUT LEAVING THE STORE I immediately went to customer services to request a refund for the case of beer and item I did not purchase. After a long wait and some confusion I was refunded the difference of the items in the format of a store gift card.That is unacceptable. The assistant store manager explained that its was a computer error and “the best” that they could do was refund me in the format of a gift card. I believe that this is putting consumers at risk. Lets examine the situation. A customer is incorrectly charged because of a "computer error”, the manager’s own words, and the customer is refunded in the format of a gift card, effectively cajoling the customer into returning to the very same store that just incorrectly charged them due to “computer error”.I explained to the manager that I believed that refunding customers in the format of a gift card poses a risk to the customer. They did not (the night shift manager, and assistant store manager) seem to understand or agree. Fortunately I am financially comfortable but it is easy to imagine the hypothetical that not being monetarily refunded could have a harsh and negative impact on a costumer of lesser financial means.After exiting the store extremely frustrated I returned into the store after recalling a past experience at that same store. In this past experience I accidentally put a company purchase on my personal card. Without question, I was able to cancel or refund (i forget which) the transaction and put the purchase on the appropriate card. When I explained this to the same pair of managers they suggested that it was a lesser dollar amount. I explained that it was not (to the best of my memory $75 - $100). The assistant store manager then went on to suggest that the “circumstances of your (my) purchase are very unusual” and that these “errors” do not happen often. This is offensive and suggestive of actions that are unbecoming of my character.Now, lets take the HYPOTHETICAL that I did make a mistake and scanned the beer twice (may have happened) and scanned this other item (absolutely did not happen). If it was my mistake as a customer, it would appear that the store is using this hypothetical mistake at a self checkout kiosk against the customer to improperly charge them. There are cameras at each self checkout kiosk. I suggest that the managers review footage to properly understand what happened. Perhaps the store can use this instance to improve customer experience?Personally, it was demeaning and extremely aggravating to be stonewalled by two managers. I now have a gift card to a store which I have no intentions of ever setting foot into again. I will not settle with this “gift card” and will pursue whatever venues I can to see that I am monetarily refunded for two items that I NEVER purchased.I warn any prospective customers that any “computer error” will result in the customer at “best” being refunded in a store gift card. It may also be accompanied by two managers making suggestive remarks of your actions and telling you that there is nothing they can do to help you.

I love this store. They don't have a hot food court or much prepared food here, so I don't suggest a trip for lunch but a great place to shop. They have a wide selection but it's not a huge store.( I have trouble getting around )
