Working with Diane to find our new puppy was a great experience. She was fantastic to deal with, had great communication, and flexibility on pick up to fit our busy schedule. The farm is amazing! We got a male Vizsla from her that has been an incredible puppy and is quickly turning into a fantastic dog. Such a great addition to our family, thanks Diane!

Our Vizsla Maya that we got from Diane is the most incredible and intelligent dog I’ve ever met!! We live in Washington State and traveled all the way to upstate New York to get her. I see many Vizslas here but none that are are so regal and beautiful as her. She’s also slightly larger the most female Vizslas I’ve come across. Not once has she ever growled in anger. She’s amazing!!

DO NOT BUY YOUR PUPPY FROM HERE!!!We purchased a Vizsla from Diane in June of 2020. He now has a hereditary heart condition. Reputable breeders do not breed dogs with a history of heart issues and this should have never happened. Diane is not a reputable breeder. We told her our first dog dies of heart failure and it was horrible for us. Now we are sold a pup that also has heart issues. Now he’s part of the family and we have to deal with what will most likely amount to thousands of dollars worth of medical bills. I would not buy a puppy from here. Go on Facebook, join a group for the type of breed you want in an area where you are and the group will point you to reputable breeders. When I asked my Vizslas of NJ Facebook group about my breeder when we started having issues with my dog, they all seemed to say that I am not the first time people have complained.Additionally, there have been a few red flags.1. When we picked Noel up, he had fleas. We found out when we had him in our lap in the car and they were jumping all over. He was not bathed and given to us smelly.2. I noticed the pups tail was banded but it is a bit short for breed requirements. Vizslas should only have 1/3 of their tail docked. I brought this to Diane’s attention and she told me it was only 1/3 it’s just a baby and the tail will grow. Well, that never happened and my Vizsla has a short tail. She doesn’t know much about this breed I think.3. When we asked for medical records, she never gave them to us. Just proof that a few shots had been given.4. Now that there’s an issue with the dog, she’s ghosting us. If she stood behind her integrity as a breeder, she would call us at first mention of a heart issue because she should have been worried enough to not keep breeding the same bloodline. She has not reached out and has no such questions. This leads me to believe that if you get a Vizsla from her, your pup will have the same heart issues or at least have the genetic predisposition to getting heart issues.These issues get worse over time. As a baby it was not recognized but now he’s 2.5 years old and has a heart murmur, grade 1-2. After a $760 Echocardiogram he has been diagnosed with Aortic Stenosis.She told us that the dogs parents are healthy and that all puppies get screened to make sure they are healthy. I asked for the medical records from Diane and she never gave them to me. Now she’s saying she moved so she misplaced the files. Before writing this review I contacted Diane three times. I will gladly share the email exchange or lack of exchange with anyone who asks.

Working with Diane from South Side Farms was a very positive experience. She is patient and kind and followed through on everything she said she would do. This is Roux, my two month old Ridgeback pup. We just had our first Veterinarian visit yesterday and he is happy and healthy. Diane called to see how we were both doing, very thoughtful. I look forward to working with her in the future.

We got our Vizsla there 6 years ago, our Medo has been the best! Very healthy, only well visits in all these years. He’s a terrific dog, and highly recommend the breading! We’ve got tons of pictures but overall can say he’s been the best dog ever!

Got a beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback at the farm. Owner took the time to follow up with me after the first weekend to see how things went with the little one, then followed up with me again after the first vet visit to make sure everything checked out well. Vet confirmed puppy was wormed properly before coming home with me, and had no health issues.

My husband and I just recently brought home a Vizsla from Diane. She was beyond helpful and quick to respond. We thought the farm was beautiful and the puppies were well taken care of. Our puppy is a blast to have, she’s great with our young daughters and we are very happy with our experience with Diane. We would definitely recommend her.

We are now in day 3 with our Vizsla puppy from South Side Farms. She is beautiful and healthy and a great addition to our family. We named her Ruby and it fits her. Diane was a pleasure to deal with and very accomodating. We drove from North Carolina to New York to get her and well worth the trip. Can't say enough about the experience. Got our Vizsla from here. Good communication from South Side Farm the whole time, they invited us to see the pups a few weeks before we picked one up, conditions were clean and dogs were healthy, happy and well taken care of. The puppy we got is now 5, healthy, well-behaved and people still remark how good looking he is. I would recommend this breeder for the way they treat their dogs and the quality of their pups.

Don’t buy a dog here! I put a deposit on a GSP 2 years ago liters went by and she never contacted me. I happen to see a dog for sale on face book and contacted Diane to find out she was going to keep the dog but 3 months latter decided not to. Never once did she offer to return my deposit. Horrible business owner!

no any advise from this breeder about how to raise the primitive breed. After money transferred to Diane account. Rarely answer or service back from her. This farm only breed a pet quality puppy for money and never consider a temperament of their dog parent. PLEASE beware and study hard about selection of puppy before you purchase from this farm.

We could not be more pleased with our one-year old GSP from Diane at South Side Farm. We named him Atticus Finch (Attie). He is super healthy, smart, obedient, and, yep, a bit of a Velcro dog as per the breed. As you can see, he's a looker, too. What was amazing was the thoughtfulness of Diane picking out a puppy with the right temperament for me. I'm not a hunter and didn't want a GSP who could be in the field all day and then go on a 10 mile run. I wanted an athletic dog that could be as active as I am, but could still be a family dog. That's the puppy she gave me. Attie is calm with children and yet will trot next to me when I ride my bike. I really cannot recommend South Side more highly.

Was looking for a vizsla pup and Diane from south side farm was very helpful over the phone about what i needed to do. I visited the farm and the workers showed me around. The farm is right in the nice quaint town of worcester ny. After getting on a waiting list I waited a little less then a year and got my beautiful vizsla puppy. Thankyou again Diane.

Once my deposit was sent, we practically had to beg to get an update on the litters we were promised. Unfortunately for us, this experience has left a terrible taste in our mouths. The breeder did refund our deposit and called to let me know that she has learned from this interaction- hopefully it doesn't happen to another excited family....

I put a deposit down for a German Shorthaired Pointer. The breeder told me that it would arrive any day now. The puppy never arrived. Finally, the breeder did give my deposit back.

I visited the farm when getting a dog and the place is immaculate. All of the dogs are beautiful. As a first-time dog owner, I really appreciated their in-depth knowledge, and everyone was a joy to deal with.
