Overall good place to shop for organic products.Not stocked as well as I would like. Produce issometimes thin or soft. They are friendly to customers and will help you find what you need. Their house cooked chickens are tasty but often gone too soon. It is also pretty pricey. But it’s the better show in town!!! Great sushi every week fay!!!

Decent selection of marked up groceries. Whole Foods vibes. Produce so-so. Not a large baked good or bread selection. Also one of those places where you bag your own groceries and take your own receipt despite having a cashier with no customer service l- guessing that the cashiers days are numbered - time to be replaced by automatic turnstile.

Although Sunflower is the only actual supermarket in Woodstock, New York (a place where the idea of community, the arts, and hippie ideals all come together) it's actually the place where those ideas goes to die,There is no doubt or question that they have a fantastic selection of organic foods and all the stays of a health food store, which is what the place should be labeled as in my opinion, but that doesn't give you an excuse to price gouge your customers.The reason I say this is because the prices at this place are absolutely astronomical and most days, is only open until 7. With the amount of money they get, they can afford to keep their doors open and the lights on until 9.Some of the products that I've seen in this place are literally 3 or 4 times more expensive than they are at market value, let alone what they are paying for the bulk prices. They act like they're all hippy dippy but at the end of the day they're just greedy capitalists that are trying to take your money because they are the only gig in town.Perhaps it's the property taxes in Woodstock that are really really high but it doesn't make any reason why you should have to pay as much when some of the same products are sold about 3 miles away at the Hannaford on 375.I usually don't write bad reviews, but this place, while under the guise of peace, love, and understanding, is a place where you must understand that they love taking your money and they're at peace with it🎯

This place is pretty awesome. Anything and everything you need from a healthy market is here . They even have a lil craft beer section with local brewery products . Only issue I have personally is the pricing is a tad steep , but considering it's in Woodstock it is what it is .

It's a cute store and things are expensive (to be expected) but I would only go there if I was looking for something specific. There's some interesting baked goods but everything has a spin on it like, banana bread with pineapple in it.

I think that this is the most well-run supermarket I have ever visited. The variety of items is outstanding and is done with great care. True, it is not cheap and I shop here mindfully. Given that this is a family operated business they can't compete with large chains' prices. But if you shop here you support local businesses and businesses that make a very positive impact on many levels. You will also find great quality items that you will not find in many other stores. They also give generous discounts if you are a member or if you are a senior. But you have to always mention this during check out.

This is the BEST grocery store/health food store in the Hudson Valley! Super clean, everyone is friendly, and there’s so many foods for people with dietary restrictions. Absolutely wonderful :)

Great selection of products and fresh produce. Everything you'd want in a healthy grocery store. I had a delicious chick pea stew from the hot bar. I wish they had big containers of Coco June yogurt.

Great selection of products that I’m used to getting at Whole Foods in the city, but the prices are a little high. For instance - a pound of wild caught scallops are $35 per pound. That’s insane! Friendly staff and the people that work in the vitamins and supplements section are very knowledgeable. Great local beer and cider selection!

Adorable market that was recommended to me. Smaller than I anticipated and a little crowded. Hard to move around in aisles and around people because there's so much in the store and not a lot of space. GREAT choices for vegetarian/vegan food in refrigerated section. Found some thing's I'd been wanting to try but I couldn't find anywhere. 2 thumbs way up for carrying Miyokos products.Nice selection of essential oils, they also have skin care products, hair products, etc. I'll definitely be going back.

Great selection of quality products. There are lots of comparisons in the reviews with Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. FWIW, Sunflower Market was founded in the 70s before Whole Foods existed and before Trader Joe’s was a franchise, and before the type of food they sell was trendy. It’s a local market not a massive franchise, thankfully.

They have a ton of natural, vegan, organic options and it's priced accordingly. Great selection for a small town. The real drawback was the dour, annoyed staff. Perhaps I went on a day when they'd just had some terrible news? They were absolutely miserable. Worse than the DMV.

The prepared foods are nothing special, and the gas station-esque sushi is to be avoided at all costs. Produce is mediocre in quality and selection.They have a bunch of obscure dry goods and “natural” beauty products. If you need a specific staple type item, don’t expect to find it here (or if you do, you’ll pay through the nose).My soggy $12 curry chicken wrap was packaged in a plastic clamshell (how un-environmentally friendly), and the $23 apple pie was unusual in a bad way. Their staff also has a weird ‘tude.

A want to be Sprouts CO OP. It is modern. But the Flow is all chopped up. Tight aisles with Rude out of towners and restocking carts. I guess I showed up during madness hour. Staff was not very helpful in navigating the store. Nothing different than the Supermarket down the road. And less expensive. Nice shopping plaza with cafe style seating.

Yes, some of it is expensive, some of it is more affordable, all of it is thoughtfully stocked and organic. I lived in Woodstock for 10 years and really loved this store. They have such a great selection over all. A great herb and vitamin section, great organic produce, even huge chocolate section! All of the employees were friendly, quirky, lovely people. I have moved away from Woodstock and really miss this store.

I want to give special recognition to Sunflower's sushi bar. It is not an exaggeration or inexperience that leads me to say that the sushi they prepare is at least the equal of most good Japanese restaurants I've frequented. I just had their sashimi and it was like sweet butter. Everything I've tried has been ridiculously fresh. It's not silly to say that it's worth a trip here just for their take-out sushi.

Excellent quality of meats & vegetables, interesting and wide variety of goods, staff is helpful in finding things, check out goes quickly, couldn't ask for much more in a grocer. It's definitely made huge improvements over the last few years.

Great selection. Great full they have joined with other high integrity food stores to ban ramps and other "yuppie greens". Wildcrafters have been destroying our Catskills for decades making fast money on these poached crops. Love and support Sunflower because they refuse to carry I'll gotten foods.

There was mislabeled food that had a vegan sticker on it. When it was brought up to the owner that there was very obviously some cheese on it and in the ingredient list, she did not care or make any changes to the labels. They do not care about people with restrictive diets. I was treated very poorly, and I really dint recommend going there.
