So nice, had to go twice! The Best Strawberry is a flavor that lives up to its name. I had a scoop my first time to Nancy's, made of local berries and seasonal. It was the best strawberry ice cream I've ever had! I also had the vegan mint chip which was delicious as well. The second time I went, I ordered the vegan chocolate and banana. I've never had banana ice cream and this was better than I even imagined. It paired very well with the chocolate. A "must stop" for anyone in the area. It's located inside a nice place, Bearsville, with restaurants, a pub, and outdoor seating areas and an entertainment venue next door.

This is some of the best ice cream in the world. No question. The team at Nancy's has done an unbelievable job of not only creating a very unique ice cream menu but also a very fun atmosphere. Highly recommend Tahitian Vanilla Bean and ask them to put chocolate cake crumbles on top, Salted Caramel & Creme Fraiche, or Cookies & Sweet Cream

The flavors were delicious. We got the mish mash, coffee and sour cream cherry. My only reason for giving a 4 and not a 5 is because the add-in’s were disproportionate overall. The mishmash had great amount of add ins, the coffee ice cream had too many chunks of brownie (never thought I’d say that!) and the sour cream cherry only had 1 1/2 cherries in the whole serving. Either way, the flavors were delicious, we just wanted many more cherries :)

Some of the best ice cream we have ever had. My personal favorite was the peanut butter banana which had crunch and the perfect balance of sweet and salty. We went several times while visiting friends in Woodstock. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best ice cream places around this neck of the woods - probably the best. They have just above the right number of flavors that change regularly. The service is prompt and friendly. There is seating for about a dozen people outside with enough social distancing. I have tried about 5 flavors over two visits and they were all Delicious. And they are not expensive either. The ice cream felt fresh both in mid afternoon as well as in the evening. You go to this place as they have one of the best ice creams in the region.

Great home made ice cream. I had the Sour Cream Cherry and my husband had the Caramel Banana. Both were delicious. The price was a little higher than usual, but the quality of the product and service were a bit better than usual as well. Would definitely return the next time I am in Woodstock.

The best ice cream I have ever had. They use local ingredients and make fantastic quality ice cream. They also make their own waffles which was a major benefit as well. I had to wait in line to order, but it was only a few minute wait. After getting in, the person giving me my ice cream was kind and following proper safety procedures. Overall, fantastic ice cream for a good price.

8/29/2020Delicious! Love that the only cone option is a waffle cone! Had the bananas foster ice cream. It’s not easy to find banana flavored and Nancy’s nailed it! Huge portion so thank you to the staff... took me 20 min. to finish a two scoop. I do hope to have the privilege of coming through this area again soon. 😊

Had a 2 scoop cone here. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately for me no cookie dough or peanut butter Ice cream. Actually I dont think it's real ICE CREAM more frozen yogurty.wasn't smooth and creamy more ice crystaly texture than anything... Good banana flavor in the banana foster ice cream

Ordered a chocolate peanut butter and an oreo coffee icecream. Both did not taste like the flavors. Peanut butter tasted fermented. No coffee flavor. Weird adjucts in the ice cream like under flavored fudge and rice crispys? Not sure what we ate. I've order a lot of over priced icecream before, and this was by far the worst.

I bought one ice cream cone. The cashier took my card, entered $75.07 and signed for me so I had no idea. I didn't realize it until I checked my credit card statement. I disputed the charge but Nancy's is fighting it and it doesn't look like I'm going to get my money back. These guys are crooks.Their ice cream is not that great anyway.

Went specifically to this shop for donuts and baked goods. The place is cute, but the young woman behind the counter wasn’t friendly or welcoming. Not even a “Hello” or “Thank you.” The cookies were good, but the Boston cream donut was not. Unfortunately, we won’t be back

I don't know what happened to Nancy's. My nephew and I both had flavorless ice cream yesterday. I ordered the nutella and I couldn't even tell there was any in it. Are they cutting way back on ingredients? His was just as flavorless. Good texture, but no taste.

I ordered 5 vanilla creme with choc icing, five banana cream with caramel, and 5 glazed cronuts. I was pretty disappointed. Their vanilla creme is NOT vanilla cream but boston cream. Had they known the difference I would not have ordered them. There is a very HUGE difference between boston cream and vanilla cream. The banana cream with caramel icing was just okay and I almost worry about the freshness of the filling. The banana filling was boston cream mixed with mashed bananas that obviously were past their freshness as they looked and tasted far too ripe. The cronuts were NOT cronuts at all. They were very much doughnuts but nothing whatsoever resembling their croissant half that was supposed to be there. The cronuts also had ZERO flavor. Even if you are going to mess up the cronut part at least make sure there is some bit of sweetness to it with the glaze so all is not lost. There was barely any glaze on them and it really just felt like eating a super dense yeasty dinner roll but with no flavor.The part that upsets me the most is how good their baked goods used to be and this past year or so it seems like they have definitely gone downhill. Also the fact that when I order something I expect to at least get an attempt of what I am orderingIE: vanilla cream and cronuts (yes even cronuts are supposed to be nice and sweet and covered with a glaze not just have barely any dripped over top of it). My suggestion, learn the difference between what is being made/sold and what you really need to call it. If you are selling spaghetti with red sauce and label it alfredo there is no mistaking the difference. That goes for boston cream and vanilla cream as well. Any cook/pastry chef/every day regular person cooking at home, knows the difference. $8 for five doughnuts that are nothing like what you are told they are plus a 35 minute drive each way makes the experience even more disappointing. One more note, change your packaging. The banana and boston cream filled doughnuts with caramel icing on them, the way you have them in the box, when one takes them out all caramel topping comes off as they are smooshed together in the box. While your ice cream is pretty darn good, even that has changed and gone down hill since you first opened. Quality is not as good as it was when we moved away 2 years ago. I was so excited about have a place with good doughnuts but am not crushed because they arent even the doughnuts I was told them were. 😪😪😢😢

I just love this place. The owners are super sweet and really put a lot of love into town. Their ice cream is amazing (strawberry balsamic, chocolate, and sour cream cherry are my favorite). I always bring out of town guests here and everyone comes away happy!

I am an icecream lover so when I say this is the best ice cream sundae I have EVER had. Amazing. Carrot cake and caramelized banana were so good --- (I managed to squeeze both of these in during my time here!) I can't decide which is better... I'll be back!!

Everything is homemade and absolutely delicious. Got a array of items including two sundaes, some cookies, and a grasshopper brownie and everything was superb. Staff is very friendly and the whole place is very inviting. Plenty of parking and very close to downtown.

Outside of downtown Woodstock in same area as Bear Theater. You can taste the fresh cream. Banana flavor was like magnolia bakery banana cream pudding - fantastic
