We were in town for a few days to celebrate what would have been our son’s 33rd birthday. Jace always loved going to Woodstock and we always would have lunch at Joshua’s. We were happy to discover Allison’s had opened in the former Joshua restaurant location, and decided to give it a try. Everything about our experience was absolutely perfect. Allison’s is named after the owners’ 5 year old daughter. We were served by Allison’s mom, Isabel who is sweet as can be. She asked what our names were and then remembered them. We met her husband Miguel who is a phenomenal chef. He came out and chatted with us, showed us a photo of the adorable Allison and gave us a tour of the upstairs, which is just as beautiful as the main dining room. Our dinners were delicious and the couple was so sweet! We came back the next morning for breakfast which was also wonderful. We will be returning to this beautiful restaurant every time we go to Woodstock which is at least once a year. We wish this family owned restaurant all of the success in the world and I hope this review encourages you to stop by for a fabulous meal

My big family are in town visiting Woodstock and surrounding areas. In my research I found this restaurant Allison's and from the reviews on here and pictures I decided we needed to try this place for my Goddaughters birthday dinner. I knew it would be good as I researched (that's my forte doing our food research for family trips) however I was surprised as was everyone in our party about how hard working attentive the server and I think the owner was as well as how really delicious every dish we ordered and we ordered all different dinners plus dessert and coffee everything was exceptional. A wonderful culinary and warm welcoming experience top to bottom. 5 stars if you're in the area or love here and don't know about this place come support a really wonderful local business

Friendly welcoming environment, food was great! We came once for breakfast and once for dinner and both were delicious and very well priced! Great service. Coffee drinks were hot and tasty too. As a local who has worked in many Woodstock restaurants, it is so nice to have a restaurant in town that locals can actually afford, and also have a yummy meal. We’ll be coming back to Allison!Vegetarian options: Many Vegetarian Options, and modifications can be made to support your dietary restrictions!Kid-friendliness: Very Welcoming Environment!

We were a party of five. Two vegan and three omnivores. We traveled with our dog (not a service dog). Isabel, the owner, welcomed all of us. She sat us separated from the other customers, so the dog didn't disturb anybody (in case of allergies or something, and we understood). The food was delicious. The menu offered vegetarian and vegan options but she also offered to accommodate other dishes to make them vegan. We ordered guacamole with homemade chips to share and then vegan and pastrami sandwiches, fajitas and BLT sandwiches as well.We had a great time, a relaxing atmosphere and good conversation. It is a place where we'd come back without question.Thank you for taking care of us.

We happened upon this restaurant when it first opened last summer and then returned during a recent visit. Such a gem. Fresh fresh fresh ingredients served up by the most delightful couple-owners. The offerings are quite vast satisfying many different tastes. Everything is truly prepared with love. Each ingredient is so tasty - no shortcuts here. We've had breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a staple for us when we're in Woodstock and surpringly affordable. We're grateful to the owners and can't wait to see them again.Dietary restrictions: They will prepare things anyway you'd like. Lots of fresh produce. Everything is super fresh.

Allison is a lovely new restaurant in Woodstock with warm, friendly, and attentive service. At first, my party and I found the extensive, multidimensional menu to be a bit suspect: how could one restaurant master so many different dishes? Once our plates hit the table we were instantly gratified. I had the chicken piccata, my friend had a salad with salmon, street corn abounded. We were nothing short of delighted. Oh, and the restaurant is named after the owner’s (who served us diligently throughout) daughter!! An adorable atmosphere with even better food!

This was our first visit to Allison's Restaurant....we each had a different meal and we all had the same comment....wonderfully delicious! The meals were all well priced for the portion size and all three of us brought food home. We drove 45 minutes to get there and it was well worth the drive. The service was fabulous as well and everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere was nice and the place was very clean and warm for the middle of winter. They have an extensive menu so something for everyone and if you need a spot to have a small party of 40 or fewer they have an upstairs to accommodate you. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Isabel and Miguel are doing a wonderful job running their restaurant, Allison's. They are a young couple with warm personalities, a delightful family, and a very long commute every day. They work tirelessly serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner while also raising their children. They deserve much credit.I have witnessed the fantastic breakfasts and lunches (I have yet to try dinner, but I'm certain it will be delicious).Fresh ingredients and great flavors and affordable! Affordable in Woodstock!The atmosphere is inviting with a simplistic decor. The restaurant is very clean and with fresh flowers on the tables proves their level of a well run business. They truly deserve our support. Spread the word.....

Our first experience here. It was just a total pleasure. There were 4 of us. Two of us don’t eat meat. No problem. There were ample great dishes. I had to have a steak. There was a choice of Ribeye or NY. Excellent. Lamb ribs, lobster and SEA scallops. Everything was delicious. Fresh and high quality at very fair prices is hard to beat.Miguel the owner and his family essentially do everything. They were so gracious and attentive it felt like being at a friends for dinner. Miguel greeted us. Cooked our food, and sometimes served as well.All of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The ambiance was really lovely. Looking out on still decorated Xmas scene. it was a post card feel. It was not crowded as it was late during the week on a rainy night. There is an upstairs if it is crowded downstairs. There are several good restaurants in town. Some of their menus are too exotic and pricey. It does not need to be so. Allison’s will be our “Go To” place in Woodstock.Vegetarian options: We were 4 of us. Two were vegetarian but eat seafood. But that or strictly vegetarian, they have excellent dishes. Not boring. Check the menus

Beautiful people own this restaurant. We had friends and we want to take them to Woodstock, NY. Our waitress Isabel was super friendly and amicable. She suggested our dinner, she didn’t choose the expensive plates on the menu, instead she recommended it. Food was great, salmon was cooked on point. We will comeback soon. No parking available. Prices are down to earth, not cheap but reasonable.

We enjoyed delicious omelets, toast & and potatoes, but I didn't realize the onions & peppers were an extra charge that would have made the potatoes tastier. Very reasonably priced. Friendly waitress/ owner, I believe.Dietary restrictions: They had gluten- free toast.

So my husband and I went here for a date night cuz we wanted to check out some places in Woodstock. To our surprise this place was amazing and we have no complaints at all. The food that we got was amazing we decided to split a couple meals and an appetizer. We got the buffalo wings for an appetizer. I'm a huge critic on wings because I do make my own and their wings were really good. They were crispy the flavor was good the only thing is I like to dip My Wings in more sauce so I would just ask for more sauce next time but besides that perfect. Then I got a bacon cheeseburger and my husband got the Rancho chicken wrap. We split these and the burger was so juicy and so good. The Rancho chicken wrap also really good everything just Blended together very well. The fries were amazing and crispy. There's not one bad thing I can say about this place it's a cute little restaurant the service was outstanding. If you're looking for a nice little place that has good food great atmosphere and good service this is the place to go. We will definitely be back. There are so many other things on their menu that we want to try.

The wonderful service matches the delicious food! We really enjoyed the lasagna, garlic bread and squash soup. The hot chocolate is the best, just ask Isabella 😇. The restaurant is very comfy and clean. To return soon!!!Parking: There is a public parking lot right behind the Allison restaurant.
