Every member of the team at Woodbury Animal Hospital are truly amazing people. We recently started coming to this vet after not having the best experience at our previous vet office. We were immediately met with smiling faces and warm, kind hearts. Everyone at the hospital loved our beautiful pitbull Simba- which was so important to us. They truly care for his health and well being. We highly recommend going to this vet.

Love, love, love our new vets. Very friendly people and the best part is that they answer all your questions without once making you feel like you’re bothering them. They also give you very informative pamphlets on conditions your pet is experiencing and how to treat it IN ADDITION to the clear instructions they give you (stuff I haven’t see other vets do). Great place.

Due to Covid limitations, consultation took place by phone as our dog was being examined. Marc Franz was patient, kind, interested in learning more about our dog's routine, and listened without interruption. WAH was able to accommodate a visit within 24 hours. Was very appreciative of Dr. Franz calling back after the visit to check in on our dog. Team even followed up two weeks after the visit as a check in. Incredibly thoughtful, kind and caring group at WAH. I would absolutely seek out WAH if in need of veterinary services. Thank you!

Love our vets. We have been here for 15 years now with various dogs and cats. They have given us great care for everything from, checkups, to dental care to helping us shave wax out of one of our babies. They offer great advice and truly care about our pets.

Best Vets on LI!Dr. Marc Franz was one of the main coordinators of the 9/11 canine search and rescue efforts. He and Dr. Jennifer Mignone, are truly dedicated to the health and welfare of each and every animal that is brought into their office.These doctors will explain what they see is going on with your pet and give you the treatment choices, but they will also let you know if they don't feel something is needed at that time. The cost is comparable to most vets on L.I. except they will recommend against tests they feel can wait.If they feel a specialist is required for something severe, they will help make the arrangements for the appointment and contact the doctor in advance for you.The assistants are patient and understanding, and are as kind to your pet as if it were theirs. When my dog had problems taking pills for a Rx she needed, they found a pharmacy that made the Rx in liquid form and set it up for me.You couldn't ask for more.

Just lost my baby, Guinness, at 14 yrs and 9 mos old. He was a standard poodle. He had heart issues for 2 years among the usual old age arthritis and back stuff. I never would have had him this long if not for Dr Franz, Dr Mignone and the amazing staff. He was my world, and i cannot thank you enough for the extra years of joy and love he gave me. You all are wonderful, compassionate and skilled people. And fun too lol. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. My animals go no where else. I trust you all with their well being.
