Prices are more expensive than I'm used to paying, coming from someone from far upstate. They have a nice selection of produce, a pharmacy, and standard grocery store items. The aisles are a little narrow which makes it hard to pass people.

Great selection, fresh produce, employees are friendly and helpful. Sometimes the prices ring up incorrectly. Parking lot is large.Update 1 year later: same as above. Keep an eye on the prices as they ring up. Employees are helpful.

Over the past few weeks it has been nearly impossible to find the milk I use for my twin one year old girls. I have tried the gamet of stores including other stop and shops, shop , Whole Foods, target, Trader Joe’s, and uncle Giuseppe’s. No one had the horizon growing years milk- considering this is the main stay in there diet and we go through a quart of milk daily thins was a huge problem. All the associates I interacted with had the same non chlant response of sorry better luck next time. Finally my search took me to the Woodbury stop and shop. Chris Langdale helped me with a smile and even though his store also didn’t have it he helped me navigate getting it ordered and in two days we had what we needed! He never made me feel like an inconvience and I appreciate him more than he knows. It may have been a simple act for him but for us it was huge. He is an amazing asset to the store and we will definitely be back!

The small cut carrots were wet in the bag, not just one but every bag. I got organic carrots and they too weren’t fresh. Worse vegetables and fruit department. The place is clean. As to cashiers, only met one who said thank you , and she was in customer service. Regular cashiers are very unfriendly, never a thank you or you’re welcome. This is why I don’t frequent your store

Nice grocery store! Good prices with free coupons. Really great. I just dislike some of the late staff, they are sometimes rude, and they really don't care at all. I would appreciate if they could at least show some sign of caring, but I suppose not. Not sure if this is the stores' fault or if they just didn't get much sleep. Maybe they are just bored. I recommend it it's an AMAZING store, its really close to my home and super convenient to just go in and out fast. Really recommend as an alternative to bigger stores.

As with most grocery stores, the prices are ridiculous. Hopefully, that will change soon. On another note, it's a little tiring to get audited several times at self checkout. I've been shopping at this store for the past 9 years. Regardless, I constantly get audited! It's frustrating and time-consuming. I'm contemplating just going into the security office and checking out there. That'll just save me time and energy. Or possibly, I'll just call the store ahead of my visit and let them know I'm on my way.., then, at the least, they can simply follow me around and make sure everything in my cart was properly scanned. Stop micromanaging my shopping, please.

Great location, vast store, well stocked. We enjoyed the Deli staff’s expertise and the kind customer service, especially from Mike S., Mike B, JD, and John at checkout. Nice to shop in a safe environment in this day and age. This Stop and Shop Woodbury is a store who cares about their customers. Also, everything we bought was fresh and tasty. Will visit again!

Customer service put me on hold while trying to get me an answeryo my question. was disconnected twice. It was 9:30 PMDo you carry Walden maple pancake syrups and what Walden dressings do you carry- in particular blue cheese, sweet onions, thousand island and what are the others you have in stock?Otherwise the store always clean and well stocked and easy to shop.

Crazy experience there today, an employee was mad that I had to run to grab a second bag for a bundle discount, there was no writing anywhere that states I need to buy two, I found out in the self check out. An old lady called my wife out, and used profanity, bad shopping experience bad service, shame on neighborhood chain store.

The store has a lot of variety . The only issue I have is the self checkout should have two types. One for the people scanning individual items and a super fast for us using a hand held scanner. Kind of defeats the purpose of quick checkout for us.

I've been to many Stop and Shops on Long Island and IMHO is one the best. The store is clean and the shelves are well stocked even with a worker shortage. This store has many items that are not stocked at other stores. It has a Kosher goods area that I have not seen anywhere.

The Woodbury Stop & Shop is a consistently good store. The same familiar employees speak volumes to good customer experience.The store is clean and the aisles kept well ordered and stocked. The department counters are staffed and readied to serve customers.The recycling room is well serviced. The floors are kept debris free and the machines operating and maintained.COVID-19 measures were seamlessly carried out by the staff, providing the customers a positive experience.I have to drive further to shop at this location but the pros vs. cons of going a couple of extra miles are a secondary concern.

They had Arizona tea sale, but the most popular Arizona diet tea was nowhere to be found & they told me they do not carry it. Which is laughable, all the other Super Markets carry it.

I don’t typically write reviews but I bought a cup of their pomegranate fresh anvils which were not so fresh. I ate a spoonful before noticing that it had gone bad. I ended up with a very bad food poisoning case

The shelves were pretty full, we went to self checkout because they had only one cashier and we needed assistance and the woman was patient and kind and knowledgeable, the store at that time was very empty. The store had alot of organic food many healthy choices that I don't have at my regular supermarket.

Who are writing these reviews. The store latey has NOT been well stocked and some items on the shelves are expired. Please look at the dates carefully. They charge an astronomical amount of money for chicken thighs, almost double than Shop Rite on Woodbury Road. The pork section is lacking. There isn't much to choose from. Their bakery is slow at putting out the italian bread and fresh rolls. Am I entering the Twilight Zone when I walk in. It doesn't sound like the same store to me.

Great store with good pricing. Only problem is, the people who work there are incredibly rude. ESP the woman who works the self-checkout aisle. The machine wasn’t working properly and kept telling us to put the item on the platform which we were doing. She came over and said ‘cuz your kids are messing it up!’ Then she tried to do it and it wasn’t working for her as well. She didn’t apologize, just walked away. Then we caught her talking about us to her coworker.Not sure why she was in such a mood but perhaps she shouldn’t be in a service-based business if that’s her natural disposition.

Mike at self check out accused me of not having enough money to pay for something because I asked to take it off after I scanned the item, told me to make sure I have enough money to pay before coming. Maybe its because of my brown skin color he assumes I dnt have enough money.

My local supermarket. The food is usually fresh and the staff is friendly. Only problem is sometimes the produce is not restocked when I get there. I usually go at night so it's not crowded. For a market that closes at 12 they should make sure they're stocked at 8.

They put the sliced bread back to back with the laundry detergent and cleaning supplies on the next aisle. The bread absorbs the smell and strange flavor of the cleaning supplies. The Stop & Shop shelves have holes so the bread is basically right next to the detergents. If you've ever purchased bread here and it has a sweet smell or stange flavor now you know why.
