Ordered chicken parm and their Greek salad for a small house party. Serving for 20 - everyone commented on how fresh and delicious this food was. As good as that was, there was a surprising runaway hit. If you want to taste something different and off-the-hook awesome, order the vegetable-stuffed bread!They grill a yummy combo of veggies, layer that with mozzarella cheese and then stuff that delicious mixture into a large loaf of bread and bake it! 🙌 ...you haven't tasted anything like this before. You can thank me later.😋 Enjoy!

Was in town of Windham NY, after walking the awesome Windham Path. Just happen to notice sign “Fresh Mozzarella “. Had to check out. Did a walk through. Staff so nice and inviting. Butcher was gracious enough to chat to me about steak. Yes probably top 5 favorite subject. Had to purchase fresh Mozzarella which was warm on a Tuesday afternoon. Made Eggplant Parmigiana.

Amazing small Italian grocery. They have everything, including groceries, homemade sausage, mozzarella, Italian cookies, special cuts of meat, and premade foods. We stopped or pick up bitters and fancy Amarena cherry for Manhattans. We were blown away. They have chairs outside, in case you want to eat there, too.

Pricey, but a great little grocery store with most staples, a great beer selection, a tasty deli bar and fresh baked goods (ask when their breads are brought out of the oven!). They have amazing slab bacon cut to order, any thickness you want. The butcher can also accommodate most special order with enough lead time, including an entire pig to roast!

While visiting in Windham I visited Main Street Market last weekend. The staff was professional and polite. Most importantly the food was so delicious! Had breakfast and lunch there and it was so good. If you are in the area definitely stop in. Well worth it!

We got The Universitalio sandwich. Unbelievable. They were out of pepper Jack and suggested cheddar with the hot pepper spread. Perfect. And the hero was HUGE. We split it 3 ways and we’re stuffed. Also, all 3 of the folks we spoke to in the store were sweet as pie.

Can't say enough about this place! We're staying in town for a little getaway and went in to grab some groceries and ask them where we could sit outside for lunch. They went above and beyond for us and set out all the tables in storage including a table with an umbrella so the little ones were shaded from the sun. Even washed some grapes for us so the girls could eat them right away. Their hospitality truly made our day!

Love to buy sandwiches here because they have the best quality ingredients! I get a half portion of meat otherwise it's too much. It's a genuine italian corner store with plenty of fresh food. Its also the only grocery store in town.

Falso Italian. Over priced, poor quality mozzarella, but they do make it fresh. Sandwiches at about $20 each! Much old frozen food. Few fresh fruits or vegetables, although the tomatoes were not bad.

This place is LEGIT. More than just an Italian Deli, they have incredible beef, dry aged and really high quality. Also sausages and more. Really worth a visit if you're planning on BBQ'ing out there!

Friendly service and a fair selection, but the prices for some produce and beer were a bit much. The sandwich I got was also not on the best quality bread and the lettuce was old, but for $4 it was worth it for a simple dinner. The owner seemed to like talking about/bashing Gov. Comey to customers too.

In short- Ordered 4 sandwiches the first day- 2 were made entirely wrong. The second time the owner wiped his sweaty forehead with the palm of his hand and then ran his fingers through his hair and made my sandwich without first washing his hands. Also no masks while making our sandwiches and talking loudly probably spraying saliva over the food. Despite it being a mandate to wear masks indoors, there were more than 3 food handlers not wearing a mask including the owner. Also customers were milling about mask-less.Been going to Todaro's since the 90's. Use to be great. the new management is supremely lackluster and grossly unsanitary.The single star is for decent products on the shelves. Deli deserves negative stars. The owner's head sweat sandwiches ... I can't even.

Great real Italian butcher & deli! What a treat coming from the tristate outside NYC if you’re like me always looking for a great butcher and deli this is it. Great selection of sandwiches and groceries but best of all are the cuts of meats and fish from the deli!

Great deli many choices. You can get fresh produce and delicious ready made meals. Bakery section has breads, cookies. You can also shop for your pantry. Fresh meat section and yes milk,eggs and lots of cheeses.

It's incredible to read reviews of a deli that call it a "nice family place" and then bash it for everything else. If the owner talks loud and says bad things about Andrew Cuomo then he's probably a smart guy who can't stand that pusillanimous windbag of a governor who should be in prison for murdering old people in nursing homes with the Corona virus. And for another reviewer to call out the deli for using plastic bags tells more about her than the deli. She's got a small mind and she obviously wants to hurt a small businessman doing the best he can.

Warning: Be very careful when shopping here. Today is April 4. Just now I purchased a dozen eggs. When I got home I saw that the expiration date is MARCH 27!! Hey, if they miss by a day I can understand, but not by a week. Obviously, they don't care about their customers. And one more thing....they are illegally, I believe, still putting their merchandise in plastic bags. It's really too bad, because it's a nice family owned place, I"ve shopped there for years, but I will no longer be a customer.

Under new management but so far, still the same great Italian foods that I loved, with some new stuff. There are now prepared foods, like meatballs and penne in Alfredo sauce, and marinated flank steak, all of which are freshly made everyday. They had 2 freezers packed with frozen homemade meals. They're sandwiches are still great, get the Louie, OMG delish.

What can really be said about Todaro's.....I'm a little biased cause I have been going there for nearly 30 years. Best sandwiches on the Mountaintop, great meats, and Mario makes sure to have green bananas for my 89 year old Aunt. I normally get lunch there 2-3 times a week, so much so i just call and ask for one of my sandwhiches.....really need to see about getting mine up on the special named sandwhich board....

Has pretty much everything you need for a night or two away when visiting the mountains nearby. The people working there were super nice and helpful! We were offered fresh chicken parm and eggplant parm which was delicious and perfect for an easy and inexpensive dinner to make at our airbnb :)
