I was at the hotel with my husband for a weekend in nature, our friends were going skiing in Hunter and we took advantage of the beautiful parks and views that the surrounding area offers. The hotel is very good, the bathroom in my room was new, everything was very clean, modern, the bed and pillows were comfortable, Jacob was a great host and the breakfast was good, everything was fresh and very tasty. We will definitely be back many more times.Rooms: The room is really nice and comfortable

My Son and I went for a single day skiing trip to Hunter Mountain. This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The room was modern, and the bathroom was slightly dated, but still very clean. The shower was great and powerful. The pool and sauna looked great, but we did not have time. The staff was super nice, and breakfast was great too. I agree that the breakfast area could be bigger, but in warmer weather there is an outside deck, which would be great.

We arrived during a snowstorm and there was basically no staff at the hotel except for Jacob. He managed to shovel the steps, cook food, check people in and make us feel welcome and cared for despite the situation. The hotel was clean, comfortable, there were snacks in the fireplace lounge and good tea and coffee available. We had a great stay, very calm and quiet. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others (and already have).

This is a fantastic hotel to stay in minutes away from Windham mountain and about 15 minutes away from Hunter mountain. Delicious chocolate croissants are served for breakfast and the lounge areas with a warm fireplace and pool/outdoor jacuzzi are nice after a day on the slopes. Downtown Windham has good dining options and is a short drive away. Rooms are spacious with nice views, beds are comfortable and the water pressure is great. I would stay here again for future overnight ski trips.

Really close to both Windham and Hunter mountains. Excellent service, kind & accommodating staff. Had a nice big room to myself with balcony, very affordable. Nice indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna. Breakfast in morning, gas fireplace, outdoor areas with deck, and basement lounge. Everything you need. Will be back again for sure, possibly in summer season.Nearby activities: Mountains for skiing and hiking close by. Fishing, biking, horseback riding just to name a few activities in the immediate area

We wanted to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in the Catskills and go hiking. It was our first time at Hotel Vienna and we could not have found a better hotel for a 3 day stay. The location is perfect. It is in a quiet area but close enough to many great hiking trails and excellent restaurants.The hotel itself is very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious enough for 4 people. Bathroom was very clean and linen was changed daily. Continental breakfast was fine and we were actually surprised by how good the croissants were :)When we decide to go to the Catskills again, we will definitely book the Hotel Vienna.

I've been going to Hotel Vienna for decades. The new owners have kept the hotel in great condition and have continued the previous performance. The breakfast croissants are still fresh and delicious. A couple improvements that are needed: bring back the main hot tub, I was disappointed that it was not working, especially with after a hard day of skiing and the breakfast room needs smaller tables so that more groups can be accommodated. We had to eat breakfast in the room, after many years of making new acquaintances in the break room.

Very cozy European style hotel. Friendly and attentive personal. Pets and kids friendly. Lounge area with games and tv. Clean and spacious rooms, only outdated bathrooms. Nice breakfast area, but not enough seating. Love the sauna and pool. To bed no robes, because location a cross the parking and in the winter little cold when coming from sauna or hot tub to the pool. Located is perfect. Five minutes from ski slopes and restaurants.Rooms: Spacious clean rooms with balcony.Nearby activities: Hiking, biking. In the winter Ski, snowboarding,snow tubing.

Fabulous location with kind, friendly staff. Cozy, spacious rooms, reasonable pricing, tasty continental breakfast, bottles of wine and beer for sale, and close proximity to Windham Mountain and the Windham Path. We will definitely be back! My only complaint is that the shower in room 109 had an incredibly weird handicap design that just poured water onto the floor. I don't think the other rooms have that problem.

Cozy, friendly and clean inn. Great location. On property access available to the Windham Path for walking/jogging. Near windham town and ski resort. Basic, but delicious, breakfast (complementary) served every morning.Rooms are very nice. Some have slightly dated bathrooms and some have newly renovated and modern bathrooms. All rooms have a sliding glass door and nice views.

My partner and I spent one night at Hotel Vienna after attending a wedding in the area. Check-in was easy, as it was available to do online. This was perfect for us as we were in a bit of a rush.The staff we interacted with were all very helpful and kind. They knew we may be in a rush and worked to get us in our room quickly.The rooms was spacious and clean. The bathroom was a bit dated but the rest of the room was updated beautifully.While we didn't spend a ton of time at the hotel, it was a wonderful stay. We left pretty early the next morning but not before enjoying a quick breakfast in the common area. The best part of breakfast was the freshly baked croissants and muffins that are baked at the hotel each morning!Check-out was also available online so that made it easy for us to leave on time and still enjoy breakfast.I would definitely stay at Hotel Vienna again if I was in the area. If you need a great place to stay in Windham I would strongly recommend Hotel Vienna.Rooms: The rooms were spacious and clean. We hd a kind bed that was very comfortable. The bathroom was dated but everything worked and it was also very clean. The rest of the room was updated well.Food & drinks: A small selection of baked goods, cereals, and yogurts are available in the morning for breakfast. The hotel also offers alcohol and snacks for sale. We did not use that option but if we were staying longer we would have!

A highly recommended place to stay if anywhere in this area. Rooms were nice and updated. Check in was super personal and pleasant. Feel of a cabin/ home but amenities of a hotel. Downstairs lounge was super nice with games, tv, couches and projector. Bathroom outdated but clean with crazy good water temperature and pressure. Owner upgraded us to Mountain View which was much appreciated due to vacancy. Two complimentary 30 amp 220v car chargers available for use which was awesome! Mini split AC/ heater in room which was quiet and comfortable made all the difference. Balcony on every room with a Mountain View was great as well. TVs are smart with access to all services like Netflix. Breakfast was simple but great with chiboni yogurts, bagels, fruit and delicious croissants. Hot beverages available all day. Hiking trail right out back was beautiful and a great add on. Pool, hot tub and sauna were great with key access and towel service. We will be back!

Hotel Vienna is great! I spent so many holiday seasons in Windham mountain at other resorts but now that I have Stayed at Vienna I will never stay anywhere else in the Windham area. My wife and I were very happy with the service, cleanliness decor & convenience to the mountain. Thank you Hotel Vienna for a great experience! Till next season or a good snow day..Thank You!!!

Just returned from a really lovely time with friends and family (and dogs) at Hotel Vienna.Some highlights:Heated pool, wonderful for the kidsSauna, my personal favoriteLounge area, comfortable spot for families to hang out, play games, watch movies, or eat pizza togetherFreshly baked pastries in the morningWine and beer selection was great and well pricedSome minor things that could be improved:Food service, if food is offered I think the he expectation would be more than $14 mini frozen pizzas and pretzels that take 45 min to make. I would either not offer food or offer a selection of frozen food guests can make themselves in the microwave or toaster ovenWe were fine with the dog fee but we were expecting minor accommodations like dog bowlsThere are two hot tubs on site but both weren’t in operationI didn’t find the beds extremely comfortable but I’m also picky, they’re firm and quite springy,Overall we had a great time and management was really helpful and accommodating. Would recommend :)

Checked into Hotel Vienna in Windham, NY, and it's the real deal. The moment you step inside, you're hit with this sleek Scandinavian vibe that's just downright cool.The views are amazing, waking up to that scenery is no joke. It's like the perfect backdrop you'd choose for your weekend escape.The staff is super chill and friendly, none of that stiff hotel vibe.Bottom line: Hotel Vienna nails the whole experience thing. From the movie night they hosted, to fire pits and lounge areas, to the comfy room, everything was awesome.👌

Such a lovely stay! They renovated since I last been, it’s so nice and clean. Super cozy rooms with comfortable beds. Very close to the mountain and the hot tub with indoor pool was a great addition!Can’t wait to go back!

Reception closes at 9pm but they have a system in place to accommodate guests that arrive after hours. Room and linens are clean. Lighting is cozy. Bed is comfortable. Balcony is nice. View isn’t much but it’s peaceful. Housekeeping is efficient when you make a request. Our TV wasn’t connecting to WiFi at first but the lady suggested we unplug it and it worked after the reset. Wish they had hot continental breakfast but their pastries are nice. Good variety of teas. Main breakfast area has limited seating but there’s a lounge downstairs with three more small tables. Love that their food area is open for the day so guests have access to the microwave and coffee/tea/hot water. There are movie nights every Friday in the lounge and board games. There is an indoor pool not far from the main building and fire pit areas outside. The surrounding grounds are pretty and the staff are friendly.

My husband and I have been staying at Hotel Vienna for almost ten years now. The old owners were wonderful and the new owners are, as well! It's been great to see new life injected to this hotel, which we already loved! Lots of thought and care are being put into improvements and upgrades around the property, and it shows. The rooms are always kept in pristine condition, and are simply appointed and comfortable. No cell service, but we know that going in and the WiFi works perfectly for both our mobile devices and the smart TV in the room. Despite the hot tub no longer working, the heated pool is a great amenity during any season! A great complimentary continental breakfast is available each morning with tasty pastries, coffee, juice, etc. Beautiful grounds, a great location super close to the Main St. in Windham, and the new owners have also made the hotel pet-friendly! I would absolutely recommend Hotel Vienna for a great stay in the Catskills.Rooms: The rooms are nice and spacious, super clean, and comfortable! You have your choice of standard (overlooking the parking lot) and mountain-view rooms. To be honest, the area is so beautiful, even the rooms looking out at the parking lot are pleasant.Food & drinks: A nice selection of wines, plus local and craft beers are available. Tasty croissants and other items available for continental breakfast each morning, included with your stay.

This small boutique hotel is beautifully decorated, and offer all the essential amenities found in larger hotels. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast and hot beverages throughout the day, and the staff is welcoming and accommodating.Food & drinks: Continental breakfast was included which is awesome, the game room and dining area were nicely decorated.

This property (although old) has been exceptionally updated and tastefully decorated… incredibly welcoming.Owners really enjoy being Inn Keepers and it shows.When visiting the Windham Area, by far this is the #1 place to visit.Rooms: Tastefully updates with AWESOME BathroomsNearby activities: Access to Downtown Main Street Windham and minutes to Windham Mountain Club.

It wasn't a bad stay. It reminds me of a bed and breakfast more than anything. The rooms are interesting, it gives a mix of a campy hotel feel. The views are fantastic. I appreciate the trail and the pool. They also had movie nights, which was super cute. The breakfast isn't anything crazy. The staff is super nice. We couldn't get our AC to work. Our dog enjoyed the area and exploring.
