Absolutely wonderful shop. The store has so much to offer, beautiful souvenirs for travelers and some of the best chocolate that I've ever had. My personal favorite is the chocolate coverd pretzels. A must stop for anyone visiting the Adirondacks and Lake Placid area.

Great chocolate also a wonderful gift shop. We were heading to a big snow mountain hiking so we didn't want to stop anywhere.... However, we both couldn't resist stopping by this store because the store is absolutely adorable 🐻❤️ (There is one small store in Lake Placid too!) We got many kinds of chocolates (sorry I ate them all before taking photos... Loved hazelnut cream chocolate) and this adorable teddy bear 🐻 ❤️🏔️ you can buy all kinds of Adirondack gifts!!

I love love love this place. I have been visiting the Wilmington area for over 30 years and had been to this place many times back when it was "the candy man". I recently revisited on vacation and was not disappointed.They have an absolutely amazing bounty of various chocolates... All are handcrafted. Actually, when I went for my morning run at 6:30, I saw the chocolatiers in the kitchen making the day's batches. So neat!They have lots of truffles-some remarkable ones I tried included the peanut butter, orange and cappuccino varieties.The chocolate bark is amazing along with the various other assortments including coconut haystacks, maple filled, peanut butter cups, pecan/almond/cashew clusters, and fruit filled such as raspberry. Most of the chocolates were offered in both dark and milk chocolate to suit your preference.They also offer pre-made assortment boxes if you are looking for gift ideas. The store itself also offers adirondack themed attire, darn tough socks, candles from Adirondack Candles, stuffed animals, and maple products just to name a few!The employees were so friendly and helpful, even when I took awhile picking which items to buy. I appreciated their kindness. Prices were also quite reasonable!Okay I could obviously go on and on. But the bottom line is this: if you love chocolate and are looking for some incredibly delicious, unique, handcrafted chocolate treats this place is not to be missed. They are hands-down my favorite small batch chocolates(and I've tried many!) Luckily you can also order online when your vacation stash runs out :)

We stopped at this fantastic shop while we were on our honeymoon last year and got lots of great stuff jewelry, candy, doggie treats, and a sweatshirt. My husband accidentally spilled some bleach on his sweatshirt so I called to see if I could get him another one. The girl who answered the phone listened to my story and my description of the item and searched for it. She found it, did a phone order for me and I got it the next day! She was so awesome thank you so much!

Yeah, I had a weak moment and stopped in for the dark truffles. And yeah, I had most of it eaten before I made it a half mile down the road. Fortunately, my wife bought some Wintergreen chocolate patties that lasted for slightly longer.

It's the best chocolate shop! If you want a thick, solid chocolate layer surrounding your fresh butter cream, this is the place for you. Be sure to try the maple butter cream made with local maple syrup.

Awesome place to visit, great staff as well. It has a decent sized gift shop, and a great selection of chocolates to pick from. I highly suggest the chocolate covered, candied orange peels.

My husband and I got 3 different types of fudge and 2 types of almond bark. Everything was delicious but as soon as I got home I lamented it was so far away and it would be difficult to return to buy more almond bark😅

Quaint shop. Reasonably priced chocolates in a wide variety of flavors. Not just chocolates but tees, fleeces, jams, maple syrup etc. Really cool bird feeders! Even some Christmas decorations. Lovely staff.Definitely worth visiting even if you don't have a sweet tooth.

Not a large store but it is huge on flavour. We stopped on our way out of Lake Placid. Very friendly staff and helpful in answering questions. Nice to have a treat that you can taste the craftsmanship that went into making it.

Absolute gotta check this place out when driving through Wilmington! The chocolates are delicious and they’re are so many varieties to try, especially the chocolate covered pretzels! Staff is friendly and kind. Ample parking for cars. Don’t miss out on this great place!

We've been ordering every year around the holidays ever since our visit over a decade ago. The chocolate is consistently great and since we live almost a thousand miles away it's nice that they ship nationwide. This year we tried the peppermint dark chocolate bark and it's DELICIOUS. Small batch is what it's all about.

Cute store with a variety of chocolates and gifts. We stopped in looking for coffee, which they had as you first walk in. We walked out with very nice Adirondack coffee mugs, chocolate truffles, chocolate covered oreos, and fudge!
