My first time at this animal hospital and it was a great experience. I love the holistic approach and how gentle and caring the nurse and doctor were with my Sammy. They gave him lots of snacks to keep him happy while they drew blood and played very relaxing music that was very calming. I highly recommend this animal hospital

They mainly really just care about the money. Make sure you’re able to advocate for your pet or else you’ll be paying extra fees for the doctor’s faults. Charged $15 for nail clipping and did it so fast that my dog bled as she was sedated. I brought my dog for a regular check up, she wasn’t properly checked, leading me to have to bring her in for an emergency appointment and pay even more than I had the day before. If she had been properly checked, I would not have had to come in for an emergency appointment less than 24 hours later. The doctor told me she would waive the fee for the next check up because they dropped the ball and it would be a quick check up appointment. When it came time, she lied and said that we never spoke about it. There are no financial concerns here, just believed you and that you would stick to your word. I’m an honest human being that was taken advantage of probably because I look young. This left a very distasteful feeling. It’s not about $40 or 50% off, it’s about your character as a human being and a vet.

I only write a review if I strongly feels it deserves my time and this practice deserves my positive review. I found Dr. Hardoon on the AHVMA website. I was searching for a new vet to partner with on taking an integrative approach for my 5 year old Cocker-poodle's health. While we were scheduled to discuss allergy concerns, an unexpected accident happened right before our appointment and my dog was hurt. Dr. Hardoon and staff (shoutout to Bibi and Tyler) were amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Dr. Hardoon took her time with us and addressed all of our concerns to make sure our boy was okay from the accident and our concerns on recent allergy symptoms. She didn't rush through the visit and/or was pushy about selling anything. Rather than just prescribing Apoquel, I'm happy to say we have a plan in place to work together to rule out my boy's allergies and start a treatment plan. Im looking forward to a great vet/pet parent relationship. Thank you ❤️❤️

This place and Dr. Hardoon are HORRIBLEIf you don't want to deal with virtual consultation services then don't offer it. I spoke with the Dr ONCE when I paid for the initial consultation. I offered to schedule additional appointments but I was told by the receptionist that it wasn't necessary if I just had a couple of questions. My furbaby was diagnosed with Cushing's and I decided to use Dr Hardoon's advice for a holistic treatment. Any time I called with updates and concerns about his condition, she never called me back... only heard responses from her tech Jesse or a quick email to adjust his supplements and extend out his next test for Cushing's. I finally wanted to just bring him in for evaluation but because we live so far and traffic was so bad we were going to be late and even though we were on the way the Dr wouldn't wait for us so I asked if she would at least call me at the time of our appointment and she STILL DIDN'T CALL!! My sweet, precious, baby boy passed away days later from an acute kidney injury. Since it was acute there should have been something that could have been done to save him if she even bothered to speak with me...advise me to take him to another vet/ER to at least get bloodwork checked since she told me to wait TWO MONTHS before retesting for Cushing's. I don't know how in-patients are treated but based on my experience, probably not any better. She charged me for the virtual consultation which got cut off with me mid-sentence because they don't even use the paid premium service for zoom AND she still didn't have the courtesy to call me back herself after being disconnected. I bought all of his supplements from her too.... which aren't cheap. Clearly just trying what she can to make a quick extra buck here and there without actually caring for her patients. Look at and remember this beautiful precious face. You could have done more to save him but you didn't care and let him pass. Your description of yourselves is ridiculous... caring and offer top notch services. What A joke!! If I could leave negative stars, I would. And you better believe that I will spread the word everywhere to avoid this place. You're better off going with traditional medications and treatments than to come here.

Dr. Hardoon is by far the best veterinarian that I've ever had the pleasure of knowing! We initially came across her practice while looking for alternative treatments for our dog Chelsea. Chelsea had a severe case of demodex, and Dr. H was able to restore her immunity with the healthy treatments that her practice offers. It's hard to believe that it's been 8 years since Chelsea initially met Dr. Hardoon! But after all this time, she's the only veterinarian that I trust 100% with my 2 dogs, who are now seniors.Many thanks for your kind and thoughtful service! And this review is long overdue!

This place is better than my own doctors office. From the receptionist all the way to the veterinarians I was thoroughly impressed! I would recomend this to everyone. They easily handled my cat's travel documents to Europe. They are Aphis accredited and valid for all international pet travel! Thanks again Williston Park Animal Hospital!

Super kind and caring veterinarian and staff! My dog Mira and myself are definitely more at ease when we come here and it especially helps my dog (and myself 😂) stay calm during the exam. I feel confident in talking to the doctor, knowing that she understands both conventional and hollistic side of veterinary medicine and that this hospital supports raw/homecooked/fresh diets. I never feel like I am pressured into buying anything or being scammed. Keep up the great work

First time client with 2 senior Boston Terriers, one with severe anxiety. They usually don't do well at the doctor... until we came here. Very relaxing not only for the dogs but the owner as well. Staff were so great and made us comfortable. Everyone is knowledgeable and very thorough in obtaining background information on the dogs. Everything was explained BEFORE proceeding along with the costs and what is recommended as well as what is vital. True professionals and it shows. I will be returning.************Update 12/1/2021Been with WPAH for over 2 years now and both my senior Boston Terriers are doing well THANKS to outstanding care being received at WPAH. We have never had dogs live past 8 years before so now having our dogs reach 15 and 12 years old is uncharted territory for us. Dr Hardoon and Dr Balter have taken the time to explain all the changes and what to expect in the future. I cannot express in words the gratitude I have for the ENTIRE staff at WPAH for caring, kindness and patience they have given our dogs and us as well.

Ive been searching for a holistic vet close to me for some time and I finally found Dr. Hardoon. I am so happy! My dog has been limping and nothing (even cbd oil) has helped. So today I took my dog for her first session of Accupuncture & cold laser therapy. She is also on natural tea pills. Im very excited to see the results process. Dr. Hardoon is friendly, and knowledgable. The place is clean, and they have a great variety of treats and raw food. I really enjoy coming here and will be coming back for as long as my dog needs :)

I brought my dog here for the first time last week to get a check up and vaccines, everyone was so patient and nice. My dog is terrible at the vet..he tries to bite, he barks/growls/thrashes around..he is just the worst patient. Never once did they show anger or want to give up. I am so glad I went to WPAH. I've had bad vet experiences elsewhere (not in NY) where they gave up on trying to treat him because he is so tough and never offered any options! P.S. The facility is lovely too.

I like this practice a lot. They are modern and clean and the staff is definitely caring and helpful. Sometimes there is miscommunication, but this is to be expected with a small staff. However, they have always been very accommodating. I also like the holistic approach they have. We aren't necessarily holistic with our pet, but being exposed to all of the options has enabled us to make more educated decisions for his health.

If you research my profile you'll see I rarely leave reviews. My experience at this wonderful animal hospital actually gave me the motivation to do so which shows how happy my experience has been. Today was my 5th visit since I started going last year. My dogs had severe allergies including very bad ear infections which no other vet was able to get under control but Dr. Hardoon.First, my dogs love this place. They get excited when they walk in which any other vet or even my groomer they pull back hard. Maybe that's because they are thankful to her for their ears!!!! LolThey love Dr. Hardoon and her staff.Second, Dr. Hardoon and the staff love and treat my dogs as family. They understand that they aren't just dogs to us. They give hugs and kisses and speak to them! They always give them treats but ask us first which shows respect and understanding incase they had food allergies or what not.Third, they give you an option on how you would like to care for your dogs. If you want to take more of a holistic approach they accommodate you and are very educated in this. They go over everything and explain everything first. They take the time to educate on certain subjects and which approach is best to take in that scenario.Fourth, Dr. Hardoon and her staff let me ask so many questions. I'm never rushed. I get answers to everything. They even back up as I write things down and let me finish so I can take notes. All 5 visits I was not rushed once and I find that important.I'm not moving but I'd like to say if I had to move I'd travel far to come here because my dogs and I are very comfortable and happy.I just wanted to say thank you again Dr. Hardoon and thank you to the staff. My dogs are my world and they feel so much better!!!Jovie and Hank Gruter thank you too!!

I went to Williston Park Animal Hospital with my cat who suffers from chronic allergies. Dr. Balter was great and thorough. She tried to think of EVERYTHING that could possibly help my cat. It is too early to tell if her allergies are under control yet, but it was a great first visit with Dr. Balter at Williston Park Animal Hospital! I will definitely spread a positive word and will be back!

I highly recommend Williston Park Animal Hopital. Dr. Hardoon and her staff are extremely compassionate and thorough. One of my dogs is very fearful of the vet and can sometimes be difficult.
