I love this vet center. They have always been kind to our cats, and when I recently had an urgent issue with one of my cats, they immediately offered two local animal hospitals with EXACTLY the type of information this nervous pet mama needed: "this one is closer, but that one was a parking lot." I definitely recommend them!

Team is great. Environment is great. I’ve mostly worked with Dr. Pozo and everyone is super friendly and knowledgable. My sister and several other pet parents I know bring their pets here. You can tell they genuinely care about the pets they help, and my dogs get excited when I bring them here. Highly recommended.

I found this office after my pup got really sick and her regular vet didn't have any availability. They let me bring her in even 15 mins before their closing time because her case was urgent. Everyone was welcoming and showed Arya all the love she needed. Would definitely recommend, they have lovely staff that clearly care about the wellbeing of your fur baby. Prices aren't too bad either, and they discussed different options to work around my budget. 10/10 experience overall! ✨

Highly highly recommend this veterinary facility!!! Dr. Pozo and her team are just amazing and wonderful human beings who really care for our pets and just make you feel so comforted and provide you a sense of reassurance when it comes to our pets! They take their time to ask you questions about your pet and any issues. They really demonstrate a genuine and sincere care for our beloved animals ♥️ I am very grateful for Dr. Pozo, Laura and Mason and that we can count on them to care for our pets!

great experience. recently just got my first own pet and wanted to take all the correct precautions and make sure he was taken the vet immediately and checked out. The service was great and they explained everything in detail and answered all my questions, they're so friendly and love playing with my pup. He received all his Vaccines and they're so caring afterwards. My first visit I received a little goodie bag with lots info, including pet insurance and diseases, fleas and ticks. I recommend veterinary care group to anyone with a animal, it's a pleasant experience every time, although not all news is good.

VCG Whitestone is simply awesome! I had a regular clinic i take my cats to and my older cat began having an itchy bald spot that was not ring worm so I tried booking appts with my previous clinic multiple times (wait time was 2 wks). I got in contact with VCG Little Neck 1st and they cancelled on me on the day of the appt. So I gave this location a call & boom they saved my life and gave me a slot on that day within 2 hrs (Love)! Upon walking in, from the reception to the techs and Dr.M -- everything went smoothly and everyone was so kind and informative. I really loved the experience there the 1st & 2nd follow up visit. I plan to stick with this location for my cat and bringing my 2nd one in here too! Thank you team! I truly appreciate all that you guys do to help pet parents like me and I cannot thank you enough for your support! Skylar is healing very well!

VCG Whitestone is a phenomenal practice. Dr. Merker, Dr. Rojas, and the entire staff are incredibly thorough, compassionate, and have treated my cat like the queen she is :) they conducted a urinalysis and X-ray and found bladder stones in my cat that needed to be surgically removed. Throughout the whole process, they have been extremely communicative and available to answer any questions I have. I am so grateful to have found this practice and feel completely at ease with my cats recovery under their advice. Highly recommend!

I took my 8 year old pup to Vet Care Group Whitestone for a routine checkup, the staff was so welcoming and catering to my dogs emotional needs (she gets very nervous). Dr. Pozo was very patient and diligent with my dog, I was so pleased with the care she received. I found this clinic at a great time as I was looking for a new provider. 😁🐾

I took my two cats here for a full blood work / vaccine visit and I have to say, I am SO impressed with the entire staff. The moment I walked in, the two front desk ladies were so friendly and kind. Laura helped us into the room, where we met Dr. Pozo and her assistant Jennifer. Dr. Pozo was so thorough and patient, and answered all of the questions so professionally. Jennifer was lovely as well and she gave some great advice. Laura was just wonderful, I left the office feeling very positive and accomplished. Very professional and lovely vet, the best I have been to!

So much to be thankful for and so many people to thank. PATRICIA, PATRICIA, and PATRICIA! My little one, Lily needed surgery as her cancer had returned and with so many concerns and questions- my experience with Patricia alone made all the difference in what was a stressful and daunting experience into an "alright, I got this. My dog is in the best of hands" type of mindframe. I first went to VCG at Little Neck and was then referred to the Whitestone location as a surgery date opened up last minute. Dr. Rojas was amazing from start to finish. I was a bit apprehensive seeing some mixed reviews as this was a big surgery BUT I am so glad I made that judgment call for myself. Dr. Rojas was amazing. He answered ALL my questions and I felt confident leaving my baby in his hands. The reviews in regards to pricing- the pricing can be higher than other animal clinics BUT the difference in care and service speaks for itself. It does not compare! When I tell you that Patricia texted me everyday and night to check in on my dog, offered to come to my house to get my dog to eat when she didn't have an appetite post surgery, was going to pick up my dog for her follow up appt in the event I couldn't make it as I was taking care of a newborn... Their service and level of care and compassion absolutely blew my mind! I feel so fortunate that we found VCG- especially the Whitestone location with Stacey, the other staff and Dr. Rojas. Thank you so much! Lily is five weeks post surgery and is doing great.

If I could give this vet 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY!! As a new pet parent, I was seeking comfort, reassurance and a warm atmosphere. Needless to say, I got none of that.Starting with the front desk - Diane is so unpleasant and acts like every ask is an inconvenience. 0/10Next, Dr. Rojas is highly unprofessional, negligent and just downright rude. -5/10I took my pup here for what seemed to me to be a UTI. They ran a myriad of tests which I did not hear back about for another 7 DAYS! Every time I called to get the results they were less than pleased, gave me no answers and called me back after hours so I couldn't come in or call back if I had further questions. I took my pup for a second opinion because after two weeks she still was not better. Long story short, she has a giant stone in her bladder and needs immediate surgery. This could have happened 3 weeks sooner had Dr. Rojas had any care in the world for my pup who was clearly in pain and very uncomfortable. The ONLY good part about this place is Stacey. She is the sweetest vet tech and actually cares for animals.If you are looking for a place that is cold, dr's are negligent and you have to wait 3+ weeks for an appointment, this is your place! Otherwise, steer clear. Not worth the hassle, plus the 10k that I now am paying for my pup to undergo surgery.

This place is super friendly and professional. I took my recently adopted pitbull and she gets scared easily but they helped make her feel comfortable and were able to take care of her without putting on a muzzle. I went for a regular wellness check and they found an ear infection and they had everything I needed to take care of it and showed me how to clean her ears.

I went in looking for a dental consultation and was told the price would be $80.They ask if I wanted to do a chest x-ray and said I would get a quote. Great, I said, but I didn't get a quote and they ended up doing the x-ray. I also get sent home with medication for my dogs lungs which apparently he didn't need because the original diagnosis might not have been accurate according to the doctor.They also charge for a lot of different tests that other vets don't do, which I understand but it ends up adding a lot to the total bill.So far I got quoted around $1700 to get the whole dental procedure done but apparently that's a whole separate bill - I went in for a consultation for $80 and left with over a $1k bill totally separate from the $1700 quoted.Then I call back and they say that the $1k bill could be taken off of the $1700, but apparently that wasn't true either.Then I ask if I could get the results of my dogs blood test back and they said they would but I waited and received no correspondence.Overall I feel like I was taken for a ride and spent $1k for nothing of value.

Absolutely horrible. I've been going to the Little Neck location for years in the past, ever since they first opened that initial location, then switched over to a new vet because of VCG's random charges, but moved to the Whitestone/Flushing area recently so I decided to give Whitestone VCG a chance due to the many positive reviews.I just made a call to book for a same-day appointment because my dog needs medical attention. I was transferred to make the appointment with the receptionist who seemed to be in a rush for some unknown reason, trying to put me on another hold just to answer another call, and gave me one single option to either take it or leave it. Excuse me? I'm explaining to her how my dog needs medical help and she doesn't care to be of any assistance at all. Absolutely disgusted. Will not be coming here ever again. It was a mistake to give VCG another chance.

After my long time vet shut down their vet practice to focus on their rescue mission only, I was nervous I wouldn't be able to find vet I trusted as much. Dr. Rojas and the team at Whitestone Animal Hospital alleviated my concerns. My dog was overdue for some dental work and I was more than comfortable having Dr. Rojas handle putting her under anesthesia.My dog also had a bump that concerned me. Dr. Rojas was extremely patient with me and answered all my questions during my appointment as well as later on the phone when I had some follow up questions. He helped me make a decision I was comfortable with and we removed the bump while she was under for the dental work. Dr. Rojas was meticulous - I can't believe how much better her teeth look. He also did a great job with her stitches which are very smooth and clean.The staff is also great. They make you feel comfortable, care about your pets and are very professional. I'm so glad to have found this place.

My cat was not feeling well and last minute they squeezed me in to check her. Every single time I’ve had an emergency they have been open to see her no matter how packed or how late its been.
