This market is fleecing its customers with these prices. Crazy mark-ups, products past expiry dates, and the general apathy here make this a place to avoid. The owner and management don't care, so DON'T SHOP HERE.

I ran into this Key Food to pick-up some items for my elderly mother. You were out of stock on a sale item and I asked the cashier if she could substitute the store brand for the sale price. The cashier had to ask the girl standing right next to her that was completely glued to her cellphone, not paying attention, yet supposedly training my cashier. The girl not paying attention asked me to repeat myself and then seemed annoyed at my request. She then proceeds to tell me "you have to go to the office and ask yourself". Not sure why I am being sent to the office because in my experience, most supermarkets call for management to come to the register. Still I proceed to walk across the store all the way to the office and the girl in the office said she couldn't approve an adjustment, so she kindly walked me across the store over to an older gentleman who was literally right next to the register I had just walked away from. He approved the adjustment, but at this point I'm thinking to myself would this rude cashier training the new employee also tell my elderly mother or other elderly clientele to run all around the store? Also, what type of example is she setting for your new employee? Very rude! The store was practically empty. If she had time to play on her phone, she definitely had time to properly call for management or walk herself to the office.Purchase 2/22/23 around 6:15 PM

They had one cashier open. They only have two cash registers and the rest is self checkout. I purposely waited I refuse to encourage self checkout. I put my groceries and bags on the conveyor belt. The cashier rings up everything and pushes the bags towards me and tells me to pack😳. What planet are we on. If I choose to help that’s one thing. I’m supposed to watch a cashier who is being paid, watch me the customer bag? That’s why I usually shop at Northshore

For the most part, I like the store, however there's never more than 1 or 2 people to check you out. Also the rude foreign woman working in the meat department said she had no idea what a ham is. Are you freaking kidding me???

Not sure what's with all these neg reviews, I took a chance on it today with my fiance and we had a pleasant experience. The products were well stock and fully stocked, we got everything we came for and then some extras. The cashiers were very professional, and even cared enough to ask the customers if they wanted to send a donation for kids with disabilities; most other places wont even bother to point to the donation cards.

Hard to believe that this store is even worse than it was a year ago. Now there is only one check out booth with a person to check you out. All the others are "do it yourself" although there is someone there to help if needed. The worse thing is that there are often no empty carts in front of the store. You'd think they would buy some extra carts so one doesn't have to scrounge around the parking lot in order to do your shopping. This on top of high prices, rude personnel, (not everyone, of course) many items on shelves past the "sell by" price (one must check every item so as not to get stuck with something old) and generally high prices. We finally have some other options in the area, so I'd skip this one for sure.

Finally quit this horrible place, one person on the deli counter for hours alone, less than 9 people working there, and ofc most of the stuff we "make" really is pre-made and one person to put out all those salads and other foods, they don't check the dates or sell prices and you yourself gotta gamble getting something spoiled and again we all have to work the counter so the shelves have mad expired merchandise. Don't know what's worst the amount of work or the rude customers but enjoy nobody wanna work there so it'll be a CTown in a couple years

I go to self check out with my times as usual the sale price does not come up .. guy who supervises area states it will come off at the end which it does not .. now I have to go take a picture of the sale price and go to customer service .. where she fixes me a slip with $2.18 refund .. and then tells me I have to go wait on line she can’t give me the money.. and they guy in self checkout can’t help me either so I am online right now over 5 minutes for a mistake this store continues to make .. it’s amazing that this store has not gone under yet! It’s the worse !

I purchased a 5 gallon bottle of Poland Spring water and they charged me a $6 deposit. When I attempted to return the empty, they refused to refund my deposit unless I purchased another bottle and took another deposit. I'm done here.

Customer service girl is rude. One of the Cashier lady, I have a grudge on. I can't even go into her lane anymore.All the clerks except cashiers are nice.The manager is not so good. He will stare at you when you come in, he did so in multiple occasions. There are pretty cool and helpful produce, seafood, grocery, and meat clerks.

Ok so I went today april 29 2020. People theres barely anything on the shelves. Also whatever is left on the shelves are at full price so be prepared to pay. As far as the store goes very clean and not many people. I suggest to find somewhere else to shop for a large grocery for now. Its definitely good for cold cuts, vegetables, bread , soda or water. The cashiers where very nice. This is somewhat of an update for those who need to shop for food.

It was not a pleasant grocery shopping day at Key Food today. Its cashier said I brought extra for the coupon. I was trying to show her I didn’t and explain. But she didn’t listen to me and said “go go go I give it to you”. I really don’t care these “extra”. But I was treated so rude. Manager was there but he didn’t say anything. That is a way to connive these rudeness. Right? No good rules no good food there.

This is the most expensive non-organic supermarket I have ever been too!! I can’t beleive I spend 250 dollars and got 0 items on sale. Not one single thing!! They were selling 3 medium size pieces of organic chicken breast for 30 dollars!!! I can get an entire turkey for that price!! Some serious competition needs to come to this area to drop their prices!! The lines are also very long at check out. I will not be going back here.

Haven't come here in awhile and I was just reminded why. Deli section never listens to you when you order. "Just under 1/2 lb of store bought Turkey" what do I get over 1/2 and low salt , that's $2 more per pound. Previously.."1/2 lb of tuna, don't worry about going over "...what do I get way under 1/2 lb.Done here!

I just moved to this area from Forest hills and this key food is like a dream compared to the one where I used to live, the deli and self serve are top notch.The bottom line is, if you want a nice clean supermarket with (at least in my experience) friendly staff this is the place.

Recently , every time I visit here to shop for groceries they have one overworked and demoralized cashier. The self service registers have a long line just like the 1 cashier . I walked out empty handed .. Perhaps they think they are a Charity ,like a soup kitchen and they are giving food away for free . If they think this is the way to treat customers they have themselves to blame if they go out if business . Shame .

OH HELL NOI been name called and put down by these nutcracks from the meat clerks. I'm a f-ing customer, I asked a question nicely and I expected to receive a answer nicely. But nooo they had to call me a moron because I asked them a "stupid" question. Embarrassing me in front of my wife and children. Never again I'm coming back here ever again. I don't care if it is 1 block or 10 steps from my house. This experience just did it for me.NOT COOL!DO NOT BUY THE SALAD BAR, THE TO TORTELLINI AND ALL THE PASTAS IS OILY AND GREASY. lots of items are overpriced, paid $3 for chocolate sprinkles in a small container...problem is there is no competition as of right now...the help is not good rude at times. Cant even by chocolate ice cream cause there is none...have every flavor but chocolate..and the manager never smiles...cant wait for whole foods to come in...oh and I forgot the deli line which takes 20 minutes to get called on...poorly run.

Organic products available of: poultry and cold cuts(by the veg), sweet& regular potatoes, stonyfield yogurt, eggs. Some organic produce. Open until 9pm currently- 8/15/2017. At check out ask for the "store card"- the cashier will use it to grant store discounts to you if you dibtbhave keyfood card

I came in first time, they allow people with no masks, but will make sure you scan everything so you don't steal from them. What a dump! First and last, I was too lazy to go to Northshore Farms, what a mistake!
