Myself and my dog Sparky LOVE the Barks staff and facility. When I tell him in the morning that "we're going to see his friends" he knows exactly where we are going. He pretty much rips my arm off to get inside every morning. I really like how they do the special events and send the dogs home with goodie bags and artwork. I will never bring my dog anywhere else!

We can't say enough about our experience with Barks on the Boulevard. We would give 6 stars if that were an option! Our 2 year old Husky mix visited on a couple occasions prior to us going on a family vacation. On her first visit she was scared and shy, hovering only around staff and not the other dogs. The owners called afterwards to explain how she did and what they observed. On her second visit (roughly a week later), she began to relax a bit more. The owners again called me to tell me her progress and that they felt she was doing better; more social and playful. We felt confident that she would continue to do well and dropped her off for the week while we were away. The staff sent pictures and updates nearly everyday. We were so happy to see her acting like her normal self.I would recommend this company and will use their services again!. Trusting someone else with your animals can sometimes be challenging but the owners are top notch and provide a safe and caring environment that can't be beat.

I LOVE barks and so do my dogs! I have two very shy rescues who do not warm up to people easily, and both of them are extremely comfortable with the staff here. The employees are awesome, kind, calm and courteous and truly love the animals they take care of each day.The orientation process was smooth. Each dog spent a half day there and when I picked them up I received a full report about their behaviors and if daycare would be a good fit for them. They paid attention to each of my dogs individual needs and they make sure to place them in play groups consistent with my dogs energy and comfort levels. The grooming service is the best around!10/10 would recommend to a friend!!

Would give 0 stars if possible. My wife took our 9 month old puppy there for a meet and greet. After picking the dog up she noticed blood on the dogs hind leg. My wife called Barks On The Boulevard and asked what could have caused these injuries which looked like bite marks. The staff had NO idea what happened. My wife also drove back to Barks On The Boulevard to show the staff pictures of the injuries. The staff still had no idea. The owner contacted my wife and told her maybe the injuries were do to a sharp toy or chain link fence. How is it possible for a dog to get injured on a 1 hour meet and greet which is supposed to be monitored by staff the entire time and NO one knows what happened?!!! DO NOT BRING YOU DOG TO THESE PEOPLE!!!!

My Golden Retriever is named Molly, she came home from her 1st time at barks a very happy girl. She loves to be with other dogs. Everytime we go to barks she can't wait to get in. I boarded her there for the time a few weeks ago and she came home after 5 days like she had not been away from me. Usually when I go away and I pick her up from previous boarding places she is more quiet then usual for a day or too. Also they are reorganizing the place and it looks great. The staff is also wonderful. You guys rock!

I have taken my dog here from the beginning. Everyone is great there. I have had no problems with anyone there. As a dog owner I always tell them if my dog has a cut or anything that might be wrong. I know my dog gets excellent care. I never worry about him when he is boarded. My dog and myself will never go anywhere else! We 💕 Barks on the Boulevard! 🙂

Went a couple times with our dog and although he was hesitant to go in every time, we thought it was normal because the staff assured us it was. We soon figured out his reason for anxiety. Our dog came home with a nasty wound that was bleeding and none of the staff seemed to even notice (they claimed he was fine when we picked him up, we found the wound in the car) or care when I reached out about the situation. Also, the prices are just simply too high to justify the stay (weekend prices are higher, plus the addition of holiday prices? Ridiculous). Probably will not be coming back.

I've been bringing my dog here for about 6 months and he loves it. He plays all day long and comes home so tired. The employees are always very friendly. My only complaint is that in the short time he's been going prices have changed twice. They got rid of the five day package discount which was a real bummer. I hope they don't keep making it more expensive.

The staff at Barks are amazing. My pup loves to go he knows when it is time to go and he runs right to the door excited to go play with his friends. I know when I drop him off he is in goid hands.

I have thought about if I should leave a review, but after receiving feedback from multiple people in the community with similar experiences I believe it's the right thing to do so others don't feel alone. My 1.5 year old German Sherpard/Husky rescue, Grisman, was experiencing Separation Anxiety at home since we brought him home. Otherwise, he was a fantastic dog. Well behaved, gentle, obedient, & so extremely lovable. We researched how to approach helping him progress through the anxiety and multiple people suggested Daycare. We live on the outskirts of Hamilton, but I commute to my office in Clinton so every week I went 45 minutes out of my way to bring him to Barks.I never got a feeling that the Supervisor & the majority of the staff liked seeing us walk in the door, but I figured they were just generally unfriendly people and he was too high strung for their liking. I pushed forward because the afternoon staff were much happier and told me how much they loved him. I did receive feedback that he had a couple of "bad" days, but they assured me that it's just like people & the bad days always seemed isolated. The visits following the bad days I always followed up for how he did and they would say "Great!". This continued until about 1 month ago when I was told by the staff that he spent the majority of the day in a crate. Mind you he has SA so this causes the opposite affect of the desired goal in bringing him to daycare. After that day I brought him back the following week and directed the staff to call me immediately if anything is wrong & I will come pick him up & do not put him in a crate & leave him there when I can pick him up. I received a phone call 45 minutes later that he was being aggressive & I needed to come get him. When I walked in to get him the staff member who had only been employed for 3 weeks was directed to handle me. She told me she would tell me more about the whole story, but "she was afraid to lose her job"--I kid you not this is an exact quote. When I pressed for more information she just kept shrugging. I was at a loss on what was actually happening because my dog always got so excited when we were on our way & once we arrived to the facility. I asked to speak with the Supervisor. She had no additional information. Finally the owner called me & told me Grisman had never enjoyed the daycare and often showed signs of anxiety when onsite. I had been bringing my dog for over 6 months & noone had ever told me that they didn't think he liked it. They only told me he had some "bad days", but not to worry.1 week later I started bringing him to a new daycare. The owner is communicative and kind. She is patient and caring with him. He has not torn up a single thing in our home since he has started at this new facility. When we first arrived I told her about his past experiences at daycare and she had me watch as he got introduced to the pack. He did not show any signs of aggression, but did have some hesitation which the staff handled professionally. She thanked me for continuing to look for ways to help my dog & for not giving up on daycares all together after my experience with Barks.I would second guess bringing your dogs to Barks. Their staff to animal ratio is not safe and secure for these pets. They did not communicate issues throughout our whole 6 month experience other than certain bad days. When I finally spoke to the owner she was shocked noone had told me more. I certainly got a feeling that there are certain secrets there that the staff is asked to keep hush. Now, that we have an experienced professional working with our dog we are wondering what exactly was happening at Barks. Did they just put my dog in a crate for the whole day & play it off to me like he was getting socialized & exercise? This is my experience with my particular dog, but since I've had it I have spoken to 4 people in the community who have experienced something similar at this facility. I would not recommend this facility to anyone with dogs who may need any special attention.

My dogs have been going to Barks' daycare and boarding for years, and most recently have received wonderful in-home pet sitting services! They are so helpful and caring, and it is so convenient to have them come to us where our doggies are most comfortable, Barks is the BEST!

I scheduled a time to have my dog watched on a weekend a month ahead of time. 2 days before the date, we went down to the building to pick up paperwork and we see the building is closed and a sign on the door saying they're closed and they'll be back Monday. Thanks for the notice and information! Now we're scrambling for a replacement. AWFUL SERVICE!! DO NOT TRUST WITH YOUR ANIMALS!! UNRELIABLE!!

Nice idea, but I am shocked that the establishment does not have any cameras to allow the dog owners to view their dogs throughout the day.Posting a few pictures on Facebook doesn't work for dog owners that do not have an account. I would not be able to board my pets for an extended stay if I could not check in via WiFi cameras.

I took my puppy Olive to barks for 6 months and she LOVED it. When she suddenly passed away at 10 months, they sent us flowers to the house. I recently signed up my new dog, and the woman on the phone told me they all cried when they found out.... I will never use a different day care.
