We recently visited this store & were delighted to see cleanliness & well stocked items. A bit on the pricey side compared to other stores we've visited but did manage to find everything we needed.A big plus was the woman who came to me quickly after seeing we were in another checkout waiting. They are very helpful & this location fully accessible to individuals with disabilities.

Prices are high. Also they have only gigantic shopping carts and nothing smaller, so not a good store for smaller trips if you just want to get in and out quickly. AND they have the worst self-checkout machines of any store I’ve been to. AND this store just might have one of the shadiest parking lots in Westchester county - the dilapidated abandoned cars in the back of the lot are a nice touch. Basically the only reason to go here is if you need something fast and the store happens to be close to you. If you have any other option, go with that

This is my go to place to buy meat products. I think the prices are fair if know how to use coupons and sale period. I use to know where things are before COVID now it’s all renovated and they moved things around. It looks very neat and organized.

Dirty, poorly staffed, parking lot replete with potholes. At 9 pm on a Thursday there were no staffed checkouts, the only way to pay was to do it yourself. Having just returned to White Plains from south Florida where Publix supermarkets are the norm, the comparison of the two chains is embarrassing. Publix stores are bright, clean, well stocked and fully staffed. Not only are Publix checkout lines staffed, but they have bag-packers who offer to help you to your car! The White Plains Stop & Shop is a dusgrace.

Used to like shopping there back in the days. Used to spent $400-$500 bucks every week for a family of 4 and 2 cat, but not anymore.Their main entrance is full of big potholes and their parking lot is always dirty and filled with different debris (broken glass, papers, cardboard, pigeon’s excrements, etc).I remember they used to hired a private broom sanitation truck early mornings…but not anymore, because it shows the mess.Prices are not competitive, meats & veggies aren’t fresh and usually very expensive on top of it, fruits are expensive too, not enough cashiers, recycle machines are often broken or not serviceable at all, etc).In the other hand, some of the workers are alright/polite and knowledgeable of where items are located and that’s a plus I guess. The inside is clean too…totally different from the outside though. Wish owners/mngrs would address their parking lot awful issue situation and fix it for once (stop being cheap; it’s an investment that it will pay off).Make/cut a deal with that Hyundai car dealer, and make them park those dirty/abandoned vehicles at the upstairs section of the lot (there’s plenty of space there) they are an eye sore and it looks shady and dangerous day or night!In the meantime I’ll spend my money somewhere else.

Hands down the worst grocery store I’ve been to. No baskets, dirty floors, produce is subpar and employees couldn’t be more useless, especially the manager.Lately I find myself having to go back out and get a cart, scan my own groceries, and bag everything….that used to be a job for employees. Now they stand around laughing and talking while 4 self checkouts are blinking for help.I’m done with this place. Whole Foods is full of pretentious ****s but the prices aren’t much different and produce is fresher and people actually work at registers. They also have baskets.

Parking is easy and handicapped accessible. I have found on many occasions that even when busy, I can get in and out with no problem using the self check out. They have a great selection, and the store is well stocked as well. It's a bit pricey compared to other supermarkets but great sales.

Nice and very good arrangement for COVID.. management and cleaning staff is good...fresh organic fruits and vegetables are available...lots of frozen options and all the required groceries are available..don't like cake and pastries here... pharmacy is also available...lots of offers and discounts are also going on....prefer to go on weekdays and odd hours in weekend to avoid long queues..I'd you are near by prfer this store... parking is available

I use to like this stop and shop. But lately it hasn’t been as good. The meats aren’t as fresh and either are the baked goods. Not to mention there are always homeless people outside in the lot. I started going to the one in north wp again…. Much better.

The prices are competitive and sometimes the bargain finds are really excellent. Their products are good quality and affordable. Store employees are friendly and helpful. I love their meat section: the steaks are great. I always try to look at the reduced prices and grab them. The fruits and vegetables are crisp and fresh.

Nothing special here. If u been too a Stop & Shop then you know the layout of the stores they all have same layouts. But one thing I will say is Stop & Shop has some of the best quality & freshest food products around. They're 2nd to none in that category. One of my favorite grocery stores. I recommend shopping here in high volumes.

I did an order pick up for 4-5 and came at 4:14 they said they were coming with my order. I waited 50 min for order pick up!

Okay for a quick stop, but not for regular grocery shopping . The ShopRite in downtown White Plains is cleaner, cheaper, and better stocked. Good thing about this shop is free parking right across the Westchester mall.

I have been going to this Stop and Shop for years. They did improvements in the last year to freshen it up which was needed. It won't be a Wegman's or Whole Foods but is still decent. The staff is friendly and for the most part it's always a nice shopping experience there. I wish they had more of the smaller carts for quick purchases that could be accessible at both entrances instead of one.

Customers beware. I have brought produce which has turned black before the expiration date. I brought meat on Thursday and turned black by sat. I went to return today and was given a hard by the manager and the lady at the front desk. I had a receipt which i gave to the lady at customer service and she could not find my purchase and I had to show her when the meat was packed. I bought string beans from there as well . It said best by November 8. I left in the refrigerator for 2 day and had some white mole on it. The customer service at that store is horrible. I will not purchase no meat or salad from that store in fact changing store because they are horrible. They called to rectify the issue but no thanks. I want a General manager not the management team that stick together. There are better supermarkets better than this store

Fully stocked and wasn't crowded. Fast moving lines. Only problem was this place mainly has meals for single or small families. There were some family pack meats but not much. I like coming to this Stop and Shop because they sell a huge variety of specialty spices and products. Staff are very courteous and the store is very clean and organized.

Clean store, quick to replenish shelves, helpful staff, decent prices for the area, deli and bakery are good, the fruits are fresh as are the meats and chicken. Only con..The parking lot can be super busy depending on when you go.Update: We went today, on a Friday, with all the Sports going on TV, the Shelves were Empty! Tired of poor Deliveries from the Big 3, sage advice. Dont go on a Friday or a Monday. Tues, Wed, Thurs better days and items are restocked. Not shocked to see some items go crazy high on price, so be prepared to perhaps go with Store Brands or Substitutes you may have not tried yet.

My family has been shopping at this location since it opened and have always had a good experience. Under these trying covid conditions I feel that your staff is doing a great job. Is it perfect? No. but it's the best anyone can expect in this situation. Thank your staff for all your good work. Can't even think what it would be like with out them.

I worked at stop and shop for 2 years. They don't take care of their worker's because they start you off with 4 hours a day. No one can live like this?Good luck with management, they don't give employees a chance to thrive. The jobs are a rotating door, you find yourself fired or replaced real quick. Beware applying if you dont know anyone in management.Stay clear from this job especially if your collecting unemployment. I made this mistake . I lost 2 years of my life I can not replace . Let's see how they respond to this review.

It's a food store. It's not as well stocked as others, and the stupid robot seems to follow you around the store. Unfortunately, it's my neighborhood store, so I'm there most of my food shopping trips. And the meat (beef) selection sucks. Lots of "bad" cuts, stew meat, etc, and the good cuts (rib eye, etc) are not good looking.Prices are really high- and I realize it's not the stores fault. As well as some shelves being empty.Update- shelves are restocked, but prices are obscene. Things that were always on sale (Arizona Iced Tea, gallon size, 2/$5, historically) are now $3.69 for one, as an example. The meat selection is still terrible

This store is kept clean and well stocked considering the pandemic created shortages of some items. Check out lines are fairly quick, unless you get stuck behind a haggler - but that is not the store's fault. And their store made foods have been very good as well.

I like this stop & shop, this is where me and my family come to shop most of the time. But everytime we go to the refrigerator isle there is always a man there stocking that side and everytime he hears us say something in spanish he’ll mock us by repeating something in spanish. It is very annoying, he does this everytime we go to that aisle. I hope our reviews really matter and that this stop and shop does something about it. If anybody else has experienced the same thing please write a review or pull a manager to the side and let them know. Its not right!

Simply one of the best. This is a wonderful wide open supermarket that is very clean and well presented. Check out time is very easy as well. The customer service is also a very nice place to visit because they're very cordial. Their produce section is fantastic as is their deli and meat department. I find parking here very easy and this supermarket is very accessible from the Parkway or Westchester Avenue. Go on off hours because when it's busy the lines are long. I would highly recommend it. So give it a shot. Competition is coming. Wegmans is on its way. Look for sales. Go soon! An awesome adventure!

Have been coming here for years since I moved to WP. I used to work in one in my teens when they first came to the area I the late 90's. Anyhow as a shopper some prices can be better for shelved items; produce and meat are always fresh here, and the new changes they made to the produce dept recently are nice. Makes it feel like its a higher end market and has a better navigational flow. I will say the giant Robot thing creeps me out. Makes me think its watching and following me, and no one from the store seems to pay it any mind when its beeping incessantly for a clean up. Like all stores it could go back to using more regular cashiers and put back the regular cash wraps. The turnstiles bagging system is inefficient. And less focus on self checkout for large orders. But overall, it's a decent place to shop.
