We were surprised that we were not able to get some of our favorite food products at this location especially since we've frequented other ShopRite's & usually found what we needed.Another frustrating issue was few registers open even though there were lines.

Large ShopRite at a great location, decent prices, with a nice hot & salad bar with good amount of seating to dine right there, making a day a great place for a quick and cheap meal at City Place.They have decent chicken sandwich and eggplant/chicken/meat parmesan sandwiches at 2 for $7 which is a nice deal. They also have soups, meats and chicken cooked in different ways, salads etc.

I went shopping with my elderly mother, and I was grateful that I was there, because none of the shopping carts worked, once you tried to bring them to the parking lot. There were signs that said, no shopping carts taken out of the store. I had to carry all of my mothers lengthy groceries all the way to the parking lot while she waited And sat on a bench. This policy does not respect those with limited capabilities, and ability to carry all of their food to the very large garage. I will not be going back and will just take the extra five minutes to drive to the ShopRite on Central Avenue.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting ShopRite in White Plains, and I must say it was a remarkable experience from start to finish. The store's layout was well-organized and clean, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. The staff members were friendly, helpful, and readily available to assist with any inquiries or concerns.One aspect that truly impressed me was the wide variety of products available. ShopRite in White Plains had an extensive selection of fresh produce, meats, and seafood, ensuring that customers could find everything they needed for their meals. Clean, well stocked and with a decent selection. They do a good amount of sales and have in house coupons that you can use also! The staff is friendly, the hot food, and sushi are both fresh!Great store all around.

I picked up a tres leches cake from the bakery department for a party last night with the majority of the guests being Puerto Rican. There was a lot of love for this cake! Only a small piece is left as many guests had seconds. Those that asked where I got it were happily surprised to learn I bought it at our local Shop Rite. I've had a tres leches slice at this Shop Rite before and it was good, but the whole cake is so much better. The container for the whole cake keeps it moist, while the pre-cut slices don't always have as much of the liquid in them. I can't vouch for the tres leches cake at other Shop Rites, but the one at City Center knows how to make it right.

Big store with lots of options for both fresh and preserved foods and non-food. Coffee corner had freshly brewed drinks and (usually warm) pastry.Fresh produce and coldcuts can be sampled by asking staff who are always happy to help.Try shopping late at evening for a quiet and pleasant experience and plenty of staff to help find what you need.

Its wonderful for me. Things I need at the right prices and easy to find the items and the deli persons nice. I met Wayne who cooked my egg omelet the way I wanted it who was courteous, nice and with wide toothy smile I like very much. I've been a regular for years now and seems to me this branch seldom or even rarely disappoint me.Another one who helped me is Daniel at the seafood section..he was nice and even put my shrimps inside a bag of ice and bag again so it would not leak. He deserves more than just a thank you. That kind of guys making customers happy.

Hi, waiting on line to enter is ok, have most things in stock and aisle are wide enough keep distance, pretty organized wait to checkout. Will keep coming every 2weeks to this location able to get needed produce, meat, diary. Most paper products buy online. Most people aware wear masks, keep distance and are kind. Yesterday I was there around 9-9:30 pm at the self checkout when I ask the cashier for a paper bag, she couldn't hear me because she was on the phone and when I repeated what I wanted the cashier, a weighed woman (I could not see her name) rolled up her eyes which was very upsetting to me. I think she is racist or the employees don't have customer services skill. It's not the first time I notice some of them don't like to help customers. I don't like to be like mean but you have to know it.Edit: I can't believe you don't take Android pay anymore. The terminal will decline my card on my phone as expired when is not. I went to customer service to tell them and the lady who in fact was rude, said only apple pay. For me is very inconvenient because I carry the minimum items, especially when I go to the gym and then shopping. Too bad 👎

I shop there because it's close to where I live. But after what happened there,to someone I know I may change my mind. I'm seriously considering it. They accused her of stealing when she wasn't. She forgot to pay for an item her kid was holding and was going to pay for it after she was approached about it. Honest mistake. Do you know how many moms I've seen open up stuff for their kids to keep them quiet and they pay for it when they get to the register. Any way another staff member stuck her nose into it and as my friend was taking her keys out to use her price plus card they saw her taser on the key ring and said she threatened them with it. Bull shizz. Next thing you know she and her kid are surrounded by 5 cops like she freaking public enemy #1. Shoprite is shopwrong in my opinion. White Plains shoprite thinks its so bougie when it isn't. They have some of the skankiest looking staff I've ever seen. Their fruits and vegetables leave a lot to be desired and I'm really thinking that from now on I'll be going to stop and shop. I'm so done with being disappointed by this store

Security did not look at the video & they judged me by stealing after I finished paying my groceries & they searched me even though I show my bag that only had 4 things that I got. Next time check your camera then do what you have to do. & on Friday I will go to the store & complain to their manager because it's wrong that they are not doing there job the way it should be.

Update 9/2/22: Ordered delivery again. Beautifully packaged, no missing items and expiration dates were obviously checked. Giving credit where credit is due. Thank you so much. Lost a star because I can't order beer- it's only for pick-up and that's inconvenient for me.Initial review: This review is with respect to my first time (ever) utilizing the home delivery feature. Two reasonable complaints: 1) more than half the paper bags were ripped to the bottom with items falling out because the bags were packaged too heavy and 2) one of my items was three days expired. The items were correct and I was delighted to receive them and grateful for the work that goes into this, but a reminder that the customer does pay for their groceries, so please have the individuals selecting the items check the expiration date (had this been the milk, it would have gone bad). Thank you considering my suggestion!

Deli service is terrible. The kiosk system takes for ever, and the deli staff always refuse to follow the thickness request. Last time I ordered a half pound of ham, shaved, I instead received a half pound with a 3 or 4 slices almost an eight inch thick. The last time I ordered salami, sliced thin, I received the same eighth inch slices. I refuse to use this deli anymoreAlso the fresh produce is very hit or miss

Awful, I have never seen a ShopRite so poorly managed and with rude and unhelpful staff there it took them 15 minutes to assist me with the self checkout and then have to put up with their rudeness after being patient with them. I will never go to this ShopRite location ever again.

On behalf of my 70 year old mother who frequently shop at this store for convenience reason she had the most horrible experience on Saturday December 17th.My mother purse was stolen . She realized when she reach checkout . Nobody and I mean nobody assisted her to walk around the store to see it was misplaced. She asked if they can check the cameras and was told the person wasn’t around !Nobody suggested , here is a phone you should called and file a police report, NOBODY !Please tell me if and when is it a serious enough matter for someone to assist a senior citizen? When she reached home we filed a police report, 911 operation told me that someone should have assisted her in calling the police while in the store and not after . I called the store and was abruptly and down right rudely hung up on . The young man and the women who I spoke to was fully aware of this situation. When the office who took the statement called the store they even ignored and hung up on her .What and unsafe place . This was never the greatest supermarket disorganized, not fresh but convenient for shopping.Tell my manager Perry and staff how is this ok to run a place like this ?I heard this is a place where theft is constantly happening, why aren’t there more security guard around for shoppers and the safety of the store ?I have called and called and nobody has yet to pickup .People please be safe and be aware of your surroundings especially when in this store because the store will not assist you !

This rating is based on one product that is always stale at this store. Goya N’ Spicy Pork Rinds. They need to take them off the self and if they replace keep them fresh and edible.

I love the size of this location and the fairly wide aisles. For the most part I'm able to find what I came in for. 90% of the time I have no issues at self checkout but when I do, most of the staff is friendly in assisting me. Lastly, the customer service staff is friendly and efficient 😊

They have Krispy Kreme dounts which is neat. Very clean and good looking store. It reminds me a lot of Harris Teether. They have sandwiches and many other things, which is awesome. Pretty good Christmas music as well.

Affordable prices make this my supermarket of choice for weekly shopping trips. Always clean and well stocked. They sometimes don't have enough cashiers, creating longer waiting at check out than I'd prefer. More attention to upkeep and emptying of recycling/redemption machines would be an improvement to my shopping experience but I realize that doesn't affect every customer.

The parking situation is weird. Carts aren't allowed to roll to cars? No easier access provided? No carry baskets?However, they will validate parking fee with a minimum $20 purchase.Very clean ShopRite.

The store is clean; with a decent produce section. I usually come here, when I'm very early for a theatre screening. Great supermarket with a great selection of ethnic foods. Honestly the best selection of Spanish food that I have seen lately. As for the rest of the store there is a great selection of fruits vegetables and meat. The store is very bright and well maintained. It is very busy inside. You can park in the parking garage which is great especially on really cold days or when the is bad weather.

A Committed Shopper.....Been going ever since they opened.It's my weekly grocery store, I choose over others.Tyrone at the deli is amazing....very friendly, remembers me, and knows just what I like for my cold cuts/cheese.Steve & Larry in seafood have always given great advice on the fish I choose, made great recommendations that I've gone with and always gives me the freshest piece. I even tried fish, I probably would never have tried or bought.The butcher's are very accommodating when asked to cut a certain meat, a certain way.Almost forgot friendly Joseph in dairy, if it's not out, he is always willing to check in the back for it.In general most staff are always friendly and helpful when needed. THANK YOU!

I like this shoprite it has great hot food bars and salad. The store is also well stocked with a variety of great food items at reasonable prices. I think the can put a little time in keeping their sitting area cleaner and getting rid of those disgusting vinyl seating booths. They should try replacing them with fiberglass booth seat, the ones that are easy to clean and maintain.
