I wish I could give a review with 0 stars. I got upset last summer and got a little loud with one of the employees. Without a warning I was mailed my dogs records and told not to come back. We have called several vets and nobody is taking new patients. I tried calling today to see if they would change their minds because my dog is suffering with skin allergies and her belly is all red. I was told no. They are being cruel to my dog because i got upset 1 time. We have been with them for 8 years and this is how we get treated. I have apologized over and over and promised it would not happen again. But they won't budge. How can you be cruel to an animal that is suffering. Your supposed to help them. Hate this place. They lied in their reply to this. I didn't get 3 warnings. I didn't even get 1. All I got was my dogs records I'm the mail with a note saying don't come back. Hate them. So rude. So cruel. My dog suffers now because I can't find a new vet.

I routinely take my pet here as she has ascites from chronic heart failure. It is not easy to find a vet that is comfortable performing procedures on dogs with pacemakers & both Dr Evan and Dr Heather have been great to us. The staff is always pleasant and happy to help me. Thank you for keeping my girl comfortable & getting her in when needed!

I have never written a google review until now but I wanted to hop on here and give my honest opinion. I do not understand all of the negative comments that are posted on here. A lot of the negatives reviews seem to be due to the lack of respect individuals have towards veterinary staff in general and their inability to hold their composure during difficult times. Nevertheless, the staff does not deserve anything less than the respect they have consistently shown to others. CNY has been nothing but kind and compassionate towards me and my two cats. Not only this, but they have always gone above and beyond with their care, along with being active in the community and always having fundraisers and/or donations presented as soon as you walk in. It is clear to me that the staff here is full of an astounding group of individuals who genuinely care for the wellbeing of every animal that enters their facility. If you are looking for a new veterinary clinic, there is no better place in the area than CNY Veterinary.

I'm so disappointed with CNY I had a lab who has been going there her whole time of us having her. She was going to be 12 next month and was Diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis in December. We brought her in to get medicine to treat it and now that medicine as was no longer working we wanted doctor Amanda to call us to see what our options were. The receptionist expressed that she had clients all day and did not have 3 minutes to call us to let us know what she thought. Instead wrote a not saying she didn't have enough information and to make a appointment if we needed to put our dog down. No wonder they had cheap prices versus other clinics because all they care is about is the bottom dollar. The only way you'll get care is if you spend two hundred dollars on an appointment versus talking over the phone to see what is the best for your animal. Doctor evans has been her doctor for almost twelve years and she had to die in pain because of this clinics lack of care and passion for animals.I plead with others to find a different clinic one that will actually care about the animals they take care of!!!!

Dr. Evan is the best! He's so gentle and knows just how to approach our nervous pup, and he does great with our large dog too! He always remembers our dog's names and answers all of our questions, without rushing us or making us feel silly for asking certain questions.Not to mention, Dr. Evan met us at the hospital after hours for an ER visit due to one for our dogs having an allergic reaction and he did a great job at keeping us all calm and reassured us that everything was going to be okay. Which is was! Thank goodness :)

I had come across an awful review of this place on Facebook and I chose to formulate my own opinion of this business. My family, our pets and I are so glad I did. Doctors Amanda and Evan have been nothing but compassionate, understanding, and approachable all along, throughout various checkups and visits, and the technicians are so friendly and kind. I leave here feeling I've made a great choice each time. The front desk is busy, so here or there you're going to leave missing paperwork or a possible medication. To me, that's very small in terms of what some other facilities will do, like overcharging and disregarding your concerns. The staff will always take accountability for the small stuff, so I'm gonna keep coming back for the big stuff. Thank you for being there for us for routine care and emergencies! We couldn't ask for more.

Wouldn't take our animals any where else!!Dr Evan, Dr Heather, ALL the vets and vet techs along with the rest of the staff are wonderful. Always on top of the best care for the animals.We've been with them since they were a small office. Very unprofessional. Large lack of empathy toward pets and their owners. Both the veterinarians and the staff are deficient in the ability to be respectful, sympathetic and caring. The veterinarians in particular feel the need to speak to pet owners as if they are superior. Large turn around on office staff which as a result leaves pets and their owners lost in the shuffle. Have been with CNY with multiple pets for over a decade. Sad to see such a great place go so bad. Wishing them a lot of luck to hopefully turn themselves around and get their priorities straight that pets are number one, not their pockets!

Friendly, knowledgeable staff and doctors who care about our dogs. Can't say enough about the professional and personal care the doctors show when we visit with our pets. We have been going here for over 12 years. Recently had an emergency appointment for a serious situation and were immediately seen and treated with a positive outcome (thank goodness).

The staff has been nothing but friendly to my husband and I. First I will start with - my cat was extremely sick and they took her right in. Dr. Evan explained all my options to me. My cat had to have surgery and be hospitalized, Dr.Evan communicated with me the whole time. I asked a million questions, called them 2 times a day, I went to visit my cat and Dr.Evan again had no issue coming in and speaking with me AGAIN. I felt so bad even asking him to come in to talk to us again as they are busy, but he has no issue coming in and answering my questions for 20 minutes!! I probably asked the same question 3 times, Evan is very understanding. I even texted the VET number a couple times to check on my cat (this is an amazing service I am so thankful for). This was an extremely stressful situation and I am beyond thankful Dr.Evan never made me feel like I was a bother. He was very helpful and I have nothing but good things to say about him. Besides that, all of the techs were so nice to me and most importantly to my cat. The front desk workers are very kind as well. I’ve been there a lot and personally spoke with everyone of them, they are very very nice people. My other cat Ollie also had surgery and was hospitalized a couple months ago, And before that both cats had parasites— Ive been to this vet multiple times and have never had an issue.

Thank you for proving that no one communicates at your facility. I was there at 9:50 am and left around 10:45/11am after being told she will not be seen until about 2. I said I would be with my dog in the waiting room until she got seen because she cannot be in a crate for a long period of time by herself since she will harm herself in crates. Since I was coming in because she was already hurt I did not want to add anymore hurt to her. Which i stated four separate times to your staff members. I was indeed told “so bad news is that drs are in appointment after appointment and have a meeting so she will not be seen until 2pm”. Maybe if you communicate with your employees as much as you will communicate with a review your business would run smoothly, people would understand whats going on, and my time would not of been wasted on horrible service today. You guys used to be such a great clinic. Vets are very essential to our fur babies, you should treat your profession as one seriously and properly. I will not continue to go back and forth with you on this matter any longer, this facility has gone downhill, and I love my fur children too much so I will never bring any of them to this poor excuse of a vet clinic. Do better. I hope you take the time to teach yourself and your employees proper communications skills for your futures.

CNY vets are truly amazing! We take all our pets there.They get us in in a timely manner. Their staff are supportive and so friendly. They take the time to explain things in a way so that we can understand them.We drive 1.25 hours each way to get there and it is worth every minute.If you need kind, compassionate, knowledgeable vets….. choose CNY vets!

Today I had to put down one of my beloved pets. Needless to say, it was heartbreaking. I called CNY about 20 min before they closed in a panic because I knew she was dying and I couldn't find anyone to take away her pain. I was advised to come in as soon as I could. They stayed open about 30 minutes late for me. Dr Evans (I believe was the name) was incredibly kind and genuinely made me feel okay. He explained everything that was happening and kindly pet my sweet baby to rest with me as she passed on.I am incredibly grateful for him and yh3 staff that assisted me today.I cannot thank them enough.

I trust Dr. Evan and Dr. Heather to take care of my dogs like they were their own. They have been wonderful.They take such good care of all 3 of my dogs. I trust them 110% to take care of my dogs like they were their own. They even give rubs and kisses while treating them and my pups eat that up!!!

If i could leave less of a star i would. My 10 year old dog hurt her hips. I called to get her into an emergency visit. I was told it would be a drop off and she would be seen in between patients twice and the sooner she gets there the sooner she will be seen. I drove an hour to come here. Just for them to say she won’t be seen until 2pm. So she would have to sit in a crate for 4+ hours in pain??? I told them i would bring her home and come back so she was comfortable, i just need to know if she will actually be seen then. Just for them to come back to tell me she won’t be seen at all. How unprofessional and inhumane. Disgusting

My dog was suffering from some digestive issues and needed to be seen for a sick visit. Dr. Amanda got her in that day and thoroughly evaluated her, explained everything to us and prescribed a treatment plan.

They are so good to all of our pets..Our pets actually love coming..The staff is very friendly and helpful it's clean and the vet Dr.Evans is amazing we had to put one of our dogs down about 3years ago and Dr.Evans sat with the dog while our dog passed..Our newest huskies are so calm here they love everyone..we also have cats and they are very gentle and kind.i can't ask for a better vet...little pricey..but you get what you pay for...

As I cannot comment back to my previous review I will write another one to respond to you. First of all it was not full of falsehoods and I was not a new patient since I used to go here to the point where your staff pulled up my dogs file when we spoke. I talked to two different women receptionists who told me that my dog would be seen in between patients and to get there ASAP after i asked a good time to bring her down. Then once I drove an hour to get there Sara had told me that the drs would not be able to get to my dog until 2pm as you had a lot of appointments and then an afternoon meeting. My dog who mind you has massive HIP pain and severe anxiety would then be in a crate from 10am til 2pm to maybe get seen after 2pm??? If it was 2pm I should of been told that I should get there around that timeframe not to get there ASAP. I did not yell at your staff member not even once, however I did say to her “why the hell did I get told the sooner to come in the quicker she would be seen if it wouldn’t of been until the afternoon” which she then told me that the things the receptionists say don’t always go along with what the doctors told them and communication gets mixed up. Maybe you should organize your staff better so that doesn’t happen. I told your staff members I would do a drop off as long as it wouldn’t be an all day one so my 10 year old dog would not be in a crate all day since she has anxiety and harms herself in crates. I also was going to stay right in the waiting room/my car. But to have my dog be in a crate for four hours while she is in pain is ridiculous I asked her if I came back at two with her would it be better so she is comfortable in the meantime and if she will actually be seen in between patients Sara came back to tell me she might not be seen then either. Sara was the only one who tried to communicate properly. Since you had so much time to respond to my review in between patients instead of seeing hurt animals. You should of used your time more effectively to train your staff to communicate properly to clients rather than saying several different things to people. I used to bring my animals to you guys before I moved away, thats why I thought I could trust CNY today with my hurting dog when our home vet was out of office. The communication was so poor and just downright disappointing. Don’t worry I will never come back to this practice ever again. I enjoy professionalism and proper communication.

My dogs and cat have been cared for now for years by cny veterinary and treated at various times. My cat of 14 years was dehydrated ,not eating or drinking and kept under their care for 4 to 5 days and returned to health. I am so grateful.

I would highly recommend Dr Evan! He has always been very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with my pets. He was great about fitting me in when my pets have been sick. He takes his time to explain the condition of your pet and gives options of what can be done going forward. I’ve never had an issue with the staff, they are very kind and act professionally. His prices are fair and there is never any pressure to pursue an expensive procedure.

We had to go here for an emergency visit with our dog. They got us on a Sunday, without being a previous patient, no one else in the area would. They were very professional and empathized with us in the final moments with our best friend. They explained all the options and services available after our boy crossed the rainbow bridge. It was a hard time for us, but they did their best to make things as easy as possible.

Dr Heather and Dr Evan were speedy to discover cancer and although the outcome wasn’t in our favor they did the best they could so our dog lived the longest, healthiest he could have. Would recommend them to anyone.
