My Golden Retriever is a big wiggly , high energy nut when at the vet. He has had some issues lately that have required multiple visits to Dr Pacer. Each visit Dr Pacer and each person we have seen has treated Hampton like a cherished pet and not the 100lb hyper active mess he is. In the past he was anxious to be there now he is excited to see his friends. We have had some complicated health issues to deal with and I cannot say enough about how thorough Dr Pacer is when finding and communicating the diagnosis along with the care needed. So glad to have Dr Pacer as our vet .

My cat has not been feeling well for over a week. On and off high fever and all of a sudden she wasn’t able to stand or walk well, thankfully they’re open on Sundays and I called they got me in and Dr Hopek was amazing! He gave a thorough exam and the treatment he chose has already made a big difference in how she’s feeling. I highly recommend if you’re in need of a vet to go here! The office staff is so sweet. In such a stressful time they were all so helpful and comforting.

Boarded my Jack there and he usually stressed really bad. When I picked him up two of the staff brought him out and he was all happy. Rates for boarding were great. Everyone there are caring people.

Just took Max, my almost 15 year old Havanese to them for the first time as he was constantly biting at his paws and scratching his ears. I just moved out to Quogue for the next 8 months and didn't want to drive 80 miles back to his usual vet. Well, they were terrific. Friendly service, comfortable and clean waiting area. The doctor gave Max an allergy injection and an ear gel that solved the problem for Max and educated me about the source of the problem. Was just an overall terrific experience and I plan to bring my other dog, Maddie, an 8 month old doberman/shepard mix for her flu shot.Thanks Again WBAH!David Solomons

Every time we have brought one of our pets to Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital we have been impressed with the quality of care from the front room staff to the technicians to the veterinarians. Each vet we saw spent the time needed to thoroughly assess the problem and come up with a solid plan whether it was for storm phobia, stiff hips, heart murmur, or declining health in old age. I highly recommend them.

I took my dog in for a wellness check as a new patient and was extremely pleased with my experience. The moment I walked in I noticed and loved the cleanliness they maintained in the waiting area as well as the exam room. They don't even have an odor as other facilities do ! Dr. Heller and staff were incredibly pleasant and gentle and took the time to answer and explain all details regarding the visit. I am so happy I found this facility and look forward to continuing the care for my dog with Dr. Heller. A million Thank Yous WBAH !

I have been taking my 4 year old PomChi to Dr. Heller since he was a puppy. They are great with him (and he is a bit of a divo!) He loves going there so much that I take him there to be groomed by Megan. I would highly recommend them!

We were visiting the area and needed to find a vet immediately when we noticed our puppy had rolled on a tick nest and was infested. The entire staff was so sweet, gentle and understanding of the situation. Our pup was treated immediately. They followed up to make sure he was okay days later as well as any follow-ups we may need at our local vet. We appreciate Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital and will be back if ever needed!

Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital is an excellent facility. We had an emergency while visiting Cupsogue. Our Staffy mix somehow got over 39 tucks removed from her ears; It was awful!!!! Dr. Jack and the office personnel were professional and kind. They accommodated us even though it was close to closing time on Memorial Day weekend. The residents of Westhamptom are very fortunate to have this excellent facility.

I am writing this because I think about my dog and his passing all the time.My childhood dog would be taken to this place as a kennel drop off, and my father would bring him whenever he had to leave the town for a while.I was awoken early in the morning in December 2018 to be told that my dog had passed. A 10 year old healthy boy who went on daily morning runs, and for his age, had no major health concerns.Duff passed in the care of these guys, and we were told, "his stomach 'flipped,' or 'inflated,'" but what would that mean? Doesn't that quite literally mean that he, while under the care of these guys, was either fed something strange or too much food in one sitting? Regardless, how does that happen under your care with nobody knowing anything is happening until someone finally finds him and its too late, he's gone?I'm pained that he couldn't be in the comfort of his home where he was always loved and cared for, just to have left him in the trust of people who didn't care to watch him, or just think 'one size fits all,' for how he should be fed.The most unfortunate part is that this is labeled as a hospital. A veterinarian hospital. Not a kennel, so one would absolutley hope that the amount of care going into watching your family member would have been much, much more. There should have been someone watching ALL NIGHT. The fact he died from poor feeding... This is what astounds me.I don't really know what else to say. I've been told you guys were "sweet" about his passing, but it doesn't change the fact there was a lack of care for him when he was entrusted to you for safety.That's all.

Had to bring my very protective German Shepard in for a lump on his head. The Doctor was VERY understanding of him. The Doctor was patient and thoroughly explained the diagnosis. The following week I brought in my Newfie with a lump as well on her chest/tummy area. Again, explained all of my options. Great Veterinarian and staff. And friendly priced.

Highly recommend taking your pet here. They take great care of Ziggy and fit me in for emergencies. They have great hours and are very responsive. They have taken care of all his whoodle needs since a baby. Dropped him off for boarding and he didn’t even notice I left. He loves it there.

I am a new dog owner. I came to Westhampton Beach Vet and animal hospital extremely nervous and with many questions. They were kind, patient and knowledgeable. They gave me a lot of guidance and information. The doctor, nurses and administrators are amazing! They treat every dog with love and affection. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of using them. They cut SAMY’s nails for free at her first visit. They are wonderful!
