Over the past year ( about 6 months apart)we have adopted 2 beautiful and amazing dogs.. black lab mix and black mastiff lab mix ( def more mastiff). The people working and volunteering there are AMAZING! They care for these animals like they are their own, and it shows. As with all adoptions the new friends need time to feel at home, and with their direction and help, both of our new “kids” have found a loving furever home! Their adoption fees are really low compared to others and both dogs where in great shape! (We had vet check them within a few days of adopting)If my town allowed me to have 3, I’d adopt another from the without a second thought!I would recommend adopting from them hands down!

I adopted my sweet Black Lab/ Retriever Bandit from here. And since I had a dog already, these guys did amazing to make sure the adoption would work. And now the two dogs are inseparable. These guys did a great job.

We love that place. The quality of compassion and care for the animals is second to none. We just adopted our second dog from them and the interaction was seamless in every way. We are so happy to have such a wonderful staff and facility close to our home.

Spoke to a Jordan Nichols for quite awhile as I was searching for the write dog. So I applied he told me i would get a call, that never happened I ended having to ask him what was going on and he says oh well we had to deny you due to a reference issue. I checked with all my references INCLUDING THE VET nothing but good things were said! They are not fair at all when it comes to adoption applications and they also slander me for no reason! So if you're a lower income person dont even bother with this place and I wouldnt even of given these jerks one star but it made me so 0 stars! And if i AM doing something wrong Id love to know what it is so that I can correct the issue but they REFUSED TO EVEN GIVE ME A REASON!!!!!!

The staff is fantastic and the facility and it's "residents" are well cared for. They have contacted me personally when they know I'm searching for a new fur baby. Thanks NCCR! I'll be looking for a small, young dog to join our family in late fall again. Our Mollie, as well as we, would like to add another member to the family!

Fantastic people, all dogs are given lots of love and everything they need to be happy and healthy. They ensure the dogs go to the right homes. We have had our dog, Jasmine, for 2 yrs now. She brings us such joy.

I found my sweet Penny there. The first time I walked Penny down my street, my neighbor asked where I got the dog, when I said Westfield Canine Rescue he ran over to my dog for a wonderful reunion, he had been Penny's volunteer dog walker. Penny is a good fit in my home & the neighborhood.

Just adopted my wonderful dog Buddy formerly Castile in November . He is a lab mix well behaved and very dear . After my routines Vet check up he tested positive for Heartworm disease . We are hopeful but devastated about his diagnosis. Advise to others educate yourself on rescues , dogs from the south , common for these rescues to have positive Heartworm disease .

I found my perfect companion at NCCR. When I went there to visit some pooches while searching, it was so easy to tell that everybody who worked at NCCR truly cared deeply about their mission of finding the right home for each dog, and also giving them amazing care during their stay.We've been together 8.5 years and have shared the best lives together thanks to NCCR!

I entered here with my mother with intent to adopt a dog and was immediately shut down. I had saw a beautiful animal on their site so I decided to visit with my mother to get said animal. Instead of saying the dog was adopted, they decided to accuse me to be too young and irresponsible without even knowing who I am. Then, continued by saying that the breed I wanted didn't mix well with cats and, as a matter of fact, I have multiple family members and friends who have the breed of dog and a cat that coenside fine. Then finally decide to tell us the dog has been adopted. Very rude and I will continue to recommend other shelters to family and friends.

I went to donate food after my dog passed away unexpectedly and the volunteers were gracious and wonderful. They take good care of the rescues in their care, and allowed me a chance to say hello to the dogs and pet them (dog therapy at it’s finest)

We adapted a dog over a,year ago...yes, we found they asked for quite a bit of information, it was worth the time. Our dog Morgan fits our family like a glove.I don't think I will ever get a dog anywhere else!!
