I cannot say enough good about the pharmacist Matthew. His bedside manner is incredible. He was extremely patient, kind, and explained things thoroughly and made me feel at ease with new medications I had to begin taking. Thank you so much for being so caring!!

This place is a disgrace and it's unfortunate that it's now one of the only options for town. The pharmacy specifically has no compassion for the customers and they do not listen to voicemails from Drs. Have made me jump through hoops when rite aid never gave me any of these issues I experience. It would be something if it was just me, but by and large everyone has the same experience at this location. also multiple times they've not put my script through because it's expensive. Duh and I still need it.

The pharmacy is horrible, they tell my disabled mother her script is ready, she drives there all of a sudden it’s not ready. The next day same thing except this time they need a new script because something is wrong with the one the have. It’s for a pain reliever ( controlled substance) every month same story. Why do they need new scripts? Are they selling the controlled substance to others or taking it themselves. The worst pharmacy we’ve ever dealt with, even our dr office even said only CVS has this problem with these scripts. Interesting or disturbing? Definitely changing. My mom was on a horrible accident over 20 years ago and her condition is getting worse. Don’t play with peoples medications. They need them to just do everyday things.

Always a ridiculous wait. They don’t call if the medication is out. This morning they weren’t even open on time. It’s got to be the worst pharmacy on Long Island if not at least Suffolk county. Switching pharmacies today. I liked the convenience of a drive through although I’m typing this because there are 6 cars ahead of me… line inside is worse.

We have been using this CVS for about a year. We have not had any issues with them receiving RX from our doctors. There is some hold time when calling pharmacy, usually no more than 10 minutes. I haven't encountered any rude staff. They appear to have enough pharmacy staff, our prescriptions are ready on time. The store part is rarely fully staffed, but I can usually find what I want and use self check-out. The option for auto fill and text alert when med is ready, can reduce the need to call. Btw I'm a "Boomer " so plenty of experience dealing with a variety of pharmacys.

I choose this location over the CVS closer to my home as the pharmacy is so much better. Pharmacists and team are all always very helpful, especially when I need the prescription on a set date. Even though this is a location that is farther from my home, I prefer it over others and am grateful for the assistance I receive.

I've never had an issue with this CVS EVER!! It's the best. My pills are always ready for pickup and on time. I'm grateful for how patient the workers are with me and all my questions.

Despite what others have said I like this CVS for the most part. Checkout time is fair and most of what I need is found there as well. The stock being low for most items is my only concern. Pharmacy is pretty solid and quick to get my prescription

Arrived at the pharmacy to pick up a prescription that was just filled on a Saturday at 5:59pm. They close at 6pm. The pharmacist/pharmacy tech said they were closing and I could not pick up my prescription. I told him I just received notification that it was ready and he said “come back tomorrow at 10am as he closed the window.”

Two days in a row I go pick up my rx and they don’t have it, once for me and once for my child. No one calls to say they don’t have it. Today, they say I can call another pharmacy to see if they have it, I did and they do so I tell cvs to transfer the rx but no, now the other pharmacy has to call them! No help whatsoever! Will definitely be changing pharmacies!

I've lived in this town for 4 years now and every single time I get a prescription called in or digitally sent over, they somehow "don't receive it". Doesn't matter the provider, doesn't matter what time of day, or how it was sent. The only way I can get scripts filled on time is by getting a written script which is almost unheard of in 2022. This is the only CVS I experience this problem at. The one in Patchogue is much easier do work with. It's a shame I live 2 minutes away from this location and cannot stand to use it any more.

Their website provides false information for turnaround times of Covid 19 results. I booked an appointment based on the 2-4 day turnaround time posted on their website. After I called to follow up about the test results, I was told that due to high volume, it would take 5-7 days. I would have chosen to take him elsewhere if I had known, being that we take care of elderly parents. I complained 2 days ago about updating the website with accurate information. It still hasn’t been updated. I advise not going here for testing. I have been waiting more than 7 days now and can’t reach anyone to get the results. I will never go to this CVS again. Shame on you for misleading people that involves a highly serious virus that has taken the lives of close to 130k Americans.

Lady at the counter did not greet me, she asked me for my numbers as she chomped down on her twizzlers like a horse. Unprofessional. Did not use any customer service skills like she did with the lady before me, no have a great day. Nothing.

This pharmacy is never stocked. This is the second time they couldn’t fill my prescription recently. First time took 6 days and I kept having to call and inquire when it would be available. Today they sent me on a rat race to 2 other CVS s to fill my script. Such a shame considering I live so close to West Sayville but I will be changing pharmacies to a more dependable/ reliable pharmacy.

They had to order my moms diabetic test strips!! That was five days ago and still none. How does a drug store run out of diabetic test strips?!! Told them we will keep flipping coins I guess to figure her glucose out. Ridiculous. She is 88 yo this coming birthday and pray she makes it.

Rude. Have a problem every single time I have to get my scripts filled. Instead of speaking to me like a human I am spoken down to like I am stupid. Customer service needs major help. The manager (guy) is the nastiest one there. Switching pharmacys ASAP . This will be the last time I try deal with them.

In this crazy time of the Covid 19 crisis, I know that everything is not normal and extra stressful. Thank you to Diane who was super helpful and extra kind. I needed a prescription right before they closed and it needed to be pre-approved. She walked me through the process and then made sure my prescription was filled ASAP. And wrote a sweet note on my receipt. Thank you Diane!!

Sat in drive thru line for 15 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me, finally got to the window and they closed for lunch. No cars behind me. Went inside; no one was able to help. Very unprofessional.

Pharmacy is very rude [HUGE: Update at bottom its a disgrace.]. I get text my prescription is ready then talked down to that its to early and to stop getting it early. I get it when I get the text simple as that I work 50 - 60 hour weeks so I try to get it ASAP. They make you feel like trash for getting medication. It's ridiculous. Also many mistakes were made where i was missing a pill or two and it wasn't a controlled substance so someone is messing up. They make me feel like dirt for medication I take. Its such a sad thing for me that i get scared to go there sometimes. I'm a good person and they make me feel like a bad person. It was never like this, the rudeness, and looking down upon customers... I hate taking my medication, but it helps my life condtion. I hate taking anything, even aspirin. And they make me feel like a terrible person for having ADD/Anxiety disorder. I'm thinking of reporting them I have on tape me opening and counting pills as well cause it seemed to happen almost regualry at a point that i wanted to document it for future purposes. Also they made a mistake making me pay more money they I should have for my medication. Unacceptable. Good people dont deserve this type of treatment.EDIT: Also have a camera inside my car, and you can see how rude they are at the drive through. I wont mention names, but one got really mean. He was such a nice man till recent.UPDATE CONFLICT OF INTREST : After My review, and shortly after others a week ago a person commented had of pharmacy is great! with 5 stars, i wont name them , this person is in relation to the head of the pharmacy tying to grab more good points for their store, which makes this even more tragic. Such a shame. Also people pictures have been getting taken, happened to a friend a week ago. So I guess all aspects of this CVS are bad. I dont say this out of spite. I say it out of care for the community and dont want people screwed over.

Poor customer service ! They don't answer their phone so you have to go there to ask a question which is completely disrespectful of customers time . Olde man at the drive thru is completely clueless and rude . What ever happened to the days of the pharmacist freezing you witha courteous smile and a little caring ? Certainly doesn't exist at this pharmacy! Here's a tip .... learn to answer your phone !

Mom got hurt from pharmacy mistake they gave her way to much of a dose of seroquel or something, she has sleep issues and they made it worse. Whatever the medication was and I believe it was the sequel, had her sleeping for literally 2 days, I almost called 911 but i called the doctor and was told she will be fine after explain the dose. My DR after that's eyes widened and she freaked that they dose was so high for a mild sleep issue because her cancer is preventing her from sleeping well. Whatever dose/med it was doesn't even matter, the fact that they put her on an amount they give to people who need it bad, not for mild sleep baffles me. This is a huge mistake. I'm only posting this now because after it happened I checked reviews and saw so many bad ones about the pharmacy. So i decided to let you in on my experience with the West Sayville Pharmacy, glad i check others reviews, most seem bad. This was bad. I'm still in shock and ima 18, it induced my first panic attack...Ever. I now understand what a panic attack is, thanks CVS in West Sayville!

They called and said prescription was ready. 20 mins I go to pick up and it is not ready. Waited 40 mins for my pregnant wife’s prescription. 4 people working behind counter not one was friendly. Not going back ever. Do not go to this cvs

I Gave them my spring break photos for my last year of college, and went back every other week (every 14 days) to reclaim them in case they came in. For three months they told me they didn't receive the photos. Finally today I went in to see where they were EXACTLY. Turns out they had already been returned to the photo development company, or they never left to begin with. So, I was either lied to, or they are just Highly unco-ordinate. Either way, my photos are now "Archived" and I can no longer obtain them.TL:DRMy photos of my last spring break were lost and are now non-obtainable due to bad logistics or the staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The managers are VERY kind and will stop whatever they're doing to help you in any way. The cashiers are all quick and very knowledgeable about the store. Defiantly coming here more often

Officially changing pharmacies. They are terrible at CVS. 4 women working and only 3 customers led to a 45 minute wait for me as the 2nd in line just to have them tell me I need to call my doctor and when I did call the doctor, they told me the pharmacy needs to call them.

The store is well stocked most of the time.Staff members are friendly and helpful.Unfortunately the store has a strange smell to it, that must be changed. Some days worse than others.
