I ordered an assembled grill to be delivered to my house and when it arrived via a 3rd party/outsourced Penske truck/company we immediately noticed it was damaged in various spots...completely unacceptable. It's as if the grill was not secured and was allowed to bounce around the back of the 26 foot box truck on the delivery route.The delivery driver was not allowed to take the grill back to the store and apparently the only option was to reschedule a different day for pickup instead. I instead decided to drive it back myself for a refund asap and be done with it. On top of that, when the driver left the house, he took out a bunch of tree branches on our street.Luckily I was able to get the refund with no issue. However the whole process was a complete waste of time.I ordered the same grille from an Ace hardware store and it was delivered in perfect condition, for the same price, with a 2 hour delivery window instead of 10. I included pictures of the home Depot delivery versus the Ace delivery.Home Depot sucks

Very cool place workers are helping you to choose the right product you need. I’ve been there multiple times. They were always friendly the last time I bought a door, and they even helped me to unload it into my car.

Great experience went and got a new Toilet and new fixtures for it Carlos the employee from plumbing knew where everything was very knowledgeable. Very friendly and helpful. Toilet installed and love it.

Going to the Home Depot at the Palisades mall was a great experience. I found everything that I was looking for right away. The salespeople here actually stop to assist you. They are courteous, informative, articulate, and professional. The salesperson in the appliance department was extremely helpful in showing us the differences between the various washing machines and refrigerators.

Great location. Well stocked and kept clean. The new Home Depot app helps with finding the aisle you need, especially if you’re used to other locations’ layouts. Self checkout counters are available here for quick purchasing. Large parking lot and plenty of carts and dollies.

The wait to get someone is terrible. I’ve asked 5 different people for help in the last 35 minutes and no one has been able to help. They then page for someone to come to the aisle we are at, and no one shows up. Doesn’t seem like anyone is properly trained and no one cares either to help customer out. Terrible customer service and low inventory.

Was sold an incomplete split air conditioner when trying to get a solution I was being told to “just return it” even though I would have preferred my order to be complete. Long story short Danny the manager is a complete displeasure to talk to. He was rude and condescending in many ways during our conversation regarding my situation. I asked him if I can get in writing that I wasn’t given my complete order upon purchase and his reply word for word is “ yeah, absolutely not” in the snarkiest tone you can imagine. Other employees at this store were kind to me and never once became rude and condescending. However Danny was rude from the beginning of our interaction even displaying large amounts of arrogance saying i’ve worked here for 9 years and we never sell these in store while he had my receipt in his hand that says that i bought this from store 1217 which is the one he works at as well as where i spoke to him today. I find it ironic Danny thinks very highly of his home depot experience while not even knowing what items the store he is employed at sells. All in all terrible experience with homedepot in general but man was Danny the icing on top. Thankfully it seems Danny’s coworkers have a way better display of customer service.

Epic failure in the plumbing dept at this store. The one cashier was a half a failure too.3/4" black pipe used for gas line.Hundreds of pieces of pipe ZERO 3/4 black couplers and ZERO 3/4 black tees. Inventory shows 47 couplers ZERO FOUND BY TWO ASSOCIATES.A colossal waste of timeCashier couldn't even ring up half my items or even find them on the register so I spent a half hour looking up my items on the website to get her the sku numbers.POOR MANAGEMENT AND WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR STOCKING THOSE FITTINGS SHOULD BE FIRED UPON THEIR ARRIVAL TOMORROW

Whoever does the managing or hiring at the W Nyack Home Depot is doing something that all other locations should follow. EVERY employee I encountered yesterday was incredibly helpful, polite, and even though it took a long time for them to get me the item that was listed as in-stock but wasn't on the shelf, they did it! It took closing down an aisle and getting a machine to lift a pallet from a top shelf! From the first garden center associate who immediately came to help me with all my bags of mulch, to taking me exactly where the pots I was looking for were supposed to be, to the indoor associate I grabbed who then called other associates from that particular area to help me when the pots weren't there--everyone was amazing! I have NEVER had service like this at any other Home Depot. Ever. In my entire life. I needed those pots because they can't be shipped for free and Amazon charges so much money for them but they're never in stock at other stores... Even if it lists them as in stock, I encounter the inevitable "If it's not on the shelf, we don't have it" lie. Not at West Nyack! You have amazing employees!!!!!

It was to be as expected. A pleasant visit. Everyone doing their job. Unfortunately as all big box large corporations they spend a ton of money keeping Unionized workers out by keeping moles in their workplaces and discouraging any talk of unionizing at the orientation of new employees. They also use manipulation to convince employees that their better off cooperating with the management by using the “”we are one big family” line and the making their training videos using cartoons. I went through it and then went to a union shop. Suddenly I was spoken to like I was an adult and training was by qualified human who were on hand and knew their profession. Even the tricks of the trade.Of course HD isn’t alone. These giant corporations have a huge amount of money to invest in the brainwashing of their employees.If only those employees realized that if the minimum wage went up with the cost of living and would be getting a minimum of $26 dollars an hour. If only they knew that in the 50s and 60s one person’s salary was enough to raise a family. House clothes and food. From the seventies until today massive corporations have been slowly dropping the salaries of the American workers. Carefully so they might not do the math and realize. They even used the women’s liberation movement to their advantage. Pushing for women in the workplace. WHICH I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE WITH but when bringing them in not paying them equally to their male counterpart.It was genius. Using an extremely positive attitude change in the thinking of Americans to start the lowering of the American wage.Convincing the new workforce that they would be treated just as well because of regulations and laws. Then slowly removing the regulations until Reagan busted the airline pilots union by firing all of them while introducing “trickle down economics”. Give the tax breaks to the corporate CEOs and other millionaires. Promising that they would use their windfall savings to create jobs and boost the workforce and economy.Well hindsight is 20/20 and the CEOs built bigger castles and bought more toys. Even automating their workforce with robotic employees that could do twice the work in a tenth of the time.Unfortunately using one truth about Unions. There hierarchy were corrupt, controlled by the mob or we’re actually mobsters themselves.Imagine if our government used that money to clean house in unions rather then handing it to the Walton Family Walmart and Sams Club.This family are the worst offenders. Living like Kings and Queens. Buying priceless art while hiring 80 to 100% part time employees. Saving on benefits and paying minimum wage.Then the daughter bought priceless art and put it in a giant building in the middle of the forest.In the end people who work there must shop there because it’s all they can afford. Chinese products made by peasants for 50 cents a day.It’s exactly because of this that this is exactly where the American workforce is headed.The employees at Homedepot are fantastic because in spite of it all they have a self pride that they must honor. Unfortunately that’s exactly what the billionaires and our politicians are counting on.Unions must be allowed to run or our salaries will continue to fall and we will be forced to accept the same pay of the people across our southern border. It will happen. It is happening.

On two occasions in last 3 months I have purchased items that someone had opened and resealed. It’s difficult to tell from outer box but easy once you open There doesn’t seem to be a decent quality check of these items so the customer has to examine each box carefully. Otherwise the employees I’ve dealt with are polite and courteous.

It's decent and in a good easy to access location so for basic things it's good. It does lack specialized item like certain tools - if your looking for anything out of the norm you may want to check availability in the app before you make the drive. Otherwise all good.

Anderson helped explain the return process on Saturday. When we did the return on Sunday he wasn’t there and It was very stressful and we were credited wrong. The next day Monday we went back and Patty and Donnie made a very stressful return and exchange more tolerable. They spent over an hour correcting a mistake from the night before. Patty spent over an hour on the telephone trying to make an adjustment and Donnie took the time to explain and apologize. They are appreciated and were professional and kind.

This might be my favorite home depot location. This store is huge, bigger than their already large stores. It was easy to navigate the aisle. The one complaint is that they need more entrances.

I was looking for something in the plumbing aisle when I simply said excuse me to a gentleman wearing an orange apron. As soon as I said excuse me he said I don’t work here and continue to walk away. Customer service is absolutely horrible didn’t even let me ask him a question just continue to walk away. If I can give us zero I would dare not even worth one I will be shopping at Lowe’s going forward!

It's a big box store. As always the issue is the lack of knowledgeable staff. I was sent to multiple wrong locations naturally on opposite end of the store to get a pretty straightforward part. I did figure out a work around. Look the item up on your cellphone pick the store and it will display the row/section.

Some nice staff (but unfortunately not knowledgable like at other ones I have been to). For the most part this home dept sucks. They never have anything available to rent in their tool center and haven’t restocked lightbulbs in 2 years. Needs some serious attention.

Typical home depot. Many items are available that you wouldn't think they carry. I had a great experience in the paint department this trip. I'm sorry that I didn't get the employee's name for this review, but he was very customer oriented - he asked myself and another customer if we needed assistance, while his two coworkers were having a personal conversation on the side. Be could have volunteered his coworkers but he saw the need to address the customers. Two thumbs up for him!

I have being buying materials in home Depot for the las 15 years. terrible services! Always the same, everytime that I go to buy something in home Depot of palisade NY , it takes me half of a day to have them to give me what I need and that is I am lucky to get some one to help me. Only 3 guys are good, their names are Rick on the pro desk , Patrick and Cesar, they always try to help

If I could give -0 star I would. I bought three doors at Home Depot, they call me to pick them up I went to pick them up the doors are not available. When they call me again days after to pick them up 2 doors are available the other one they sold it to someone else when I already paid for all 3 doors and paid for a pick up van each time I Went there. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.

Always a good experience in this store. I have recived great service from Peter the manager, he helped me with all I was looking for in the store. My favorite part of this store is the checkout area, cashiers are always fun and inviting and you can always have a great experience with them. The lady who checked me out was Tamara i believe, she always makes sure i leave happy. Also The associate Praise was a great help in getting all my keys copied. My one complaint about this store is that the location is quite inconvenient, I cannot get from the mall to the store, I can only drive. Overall great store with great staff.
