Walked into your palisades mall location. You hv some guy with glasses and beard completely ignoring customers. Sitting behind counter talking to a friend. Really niice service. Horrible!! Experience. Never going there again. Same guy hangs up on me when I asked for item in stock. When I called later. That's the kind of employees you want working for you guys???

Not sure if the rep was just lazy or if he wanted stuff for himself. The rep straight lied about the inventory because he didnt want to show it. Is it an issue for customers to see what the store has?!?

GameStop has its ups and downs. The selection of games is good. But the staff knowledge varies; some are helpful, others not so much. The store layout feels cluttered at times, making it challenging to find what you're looking for. They also never answer the phone, and seem to be short staffed yet it is in the middle of a mall.Overall, it's a mixed bag — sometimes a convenient stop, other times a bit frustrating. With some improvements in store organization, GameStop could definitely be a more reliable destination for gamers. I'd rate it 3 out of 5 due to the inconsistencies in service and pricing.

Worst GameStop ever, man behind the counter Arthur ID 071276 tried to scam me and steal my money by adding a warranty without my permission on to my receipt for a Switch game. He huffed and puffed/rolled his eyes after I told him I did not ask for a warrantee and to please remove it. I let him know he was wrong for that, because that is literally stealing and I cannot even imagine how many vulnerable customers he has done this to, since he felt super comfortable with doing it to me while I am with my kids. Corporate definitely should look into this because I see that he tried doing it to many customers. I will never shop here with my daughters ever again, Best Buy will be my go to for now on.

Awful service! First of all they never answer the phone !!! Then when I went to place an order and asked them to redeem my points to use for my purchase they edeemed my points for a coupon that was too large and could not be applied to the order. So it left me with no points to use for the order.. They wouldn’t revert the coupon back into points and the head manager refused to provide any compensation. So I had to pay more for an order that I could have used points for and I also have to end up calling customer service to reverse their mistake!

I originally had purchased Marvel Midnight Suns from GameStop in Nanuet not knowing it was a card game so I called back multiple times and go not answer. I called GameStop in Palisades mall and Angelo picked up and took care of me and even stood and waited for me to arrive at the store to take care of me. Appreciate you homie I’m enjoying Hogwarts !

Do you wanna get ripped off by Corporation as well as a store manager and does not want to do their job then West Nyack GameStop is the place for you. Walked in with my return slip printed from an online order bald guy who’s apparently the store manager looks up the item that I purchased and claims that they don’t carry it in store therefore he cannot do The return which is a blatant lie and false information when the corporation has told me that I could take it to any store location with that piece of paper and be able to return to in-store and get my money back instantly rather than having to ship it back via FedEx and wait 7 to 10 business days to be refunded. The fact that the manager of the store was so lazy and incompetent enough to suggest that the return was not able to be done in-store is proof of lack of employee integrity for the corporation I’ve checked multiple times even spoke with customer service over the phone all have claimed the return should have been made in store . It is not a consumers problem if a store location takes a negative hit on a online order return. If GameStop as a corporation wanted to keep its customers it would have some transparency across every single store that returns can be made in store no questions asked I hope everyone reads this as well as the corporation that way they can understand what shady dealings their employees are performing in store.

Who ever is the GM running this store needs some training in staffing the this location and training his staff. I have gone to this location several times and there has been only 1 staff on duty, if there is more than 1 staff they are talking to each other instead of asking if people in the store need help. I took my daughter today so that she can purchase a Nintendo Lite and the Super Mario Party Game. The only employee in the store was quick to try and sell us additional accessories but he failed to noticed 1 thing that the game only works for Nintendo Switch and not the Lite. I'm not sure how long he's been working at Gamnestop but he should have known that, now my daughter has to wait until tomorrow to use her Lite and she very upset.

Purchsed two games one for xbox and one for Nintendo. Representatives who sold games ask about xbox game and not for Nintendo switch, it is Less then 24 hours purchased the game which turned out to be for wrong system. Game cost $50 and got offered trade in price $12, result store no help. Called 800 number no help at all. Never going to game stop ever again.

PROS: This Gamestop is a store I always go to when I'm in this mall. The staff is always friendly at this location including this one employee named Peter (I think his name was Peter). He tried selling me on becoming a member and even though I didn't he was very humorous and kindCONS: This place is always under stocked. I'll go in and realize that a good portion of the shelves are emptyOVERALL: This store would be a hot place to go to if you want to buy a game, but if you had other options in Gamestops I'd go there instead

Had a terrible experience when I was charged for a warranty without me asking and then when I noticed I told them I did not want any warranty and the sales person insisted but I kindly declined.i understand as an employee you are encouraged to upsell but to charge people without them knowing is wrong and they should know better.its sad because it's a nice store with a lot of great used and new games but until they get honest staff members and stop being so pushy to upsell I will be taking my business to best buy.

Josh, the Assistant Manager, was extremely professional and friendly. He greeted us as soon as we entered the store and told us about the specials. He also managed to sell my son the extended warranty on an XBox One controller and headset.

As a long time customer of this store its predatory and disgraceful to say when asking about a PS5 the insurance is mandated and is needs to be added when purchasing a bundle. Blatantly not true as email about the bundle says what's included and insurance is optional but for some reason this store is special because of corporate said we can mandate insurance(Seriously). Save your time and don't bother with store and go over the bridge way better selection and A1 customer service.

Very disappointed. A buddy of mine told me about a sale they had on Wednesday on an item. I went in to take advantage of the sale and they said there was no sale today. The cashier looked into it and told me, "oh these are on sale tomorrow. Come back tomorrow and they'll be buy 1 get 1 half off"...so sure enough I stopped by the next day for that item..but only to be told by a manager that they were not on sale.. and that a similar item was on sale. Wasted an hour of my life driving to and from that store..manager wouldn't honor his employee's word.

Its okay. Nothing special about this or any gamestop's. It's a dying business and to be honest anything in that store you can get on your digital store on your console well unless you want the special edition which is extra money and depending on the game, not worth it many times. Update so before I gave it 3 stars but then I remembered when you try trading things in you get ripped off. Down to 2 stars. Dying business!

Charged me with a warranty on my games even though when it wasn't necessary at all... And charged me $10 more on a game when I wasn't looking. Make sure you always look at your receipt cuz you'll be charged with extra fees.

1. Sold me a scuffed, broken Crash Bandicoot game.2. The prices for used games here are 15% more expensive, at least, than the ones near me.3. Employees have this car-salesman tone to try and sell you games, donations, and membership renewels. Very manipulative methods such as speaking fast, using vague terms, not taking "no" the first time, and trying to spin the idea that spending more money with them will then "save" you money.

Not the nicest gamestop but I gotta give it props for having a section for old games. It usually doesnt carry a lot of collectables because there's a think geek in the same mall. It can feel a bit cluttered sometimes though.

BY FAR THE WORST GAMESTOP EVER, I HAVE BEEN CALLING THERE STORE IN THE PALISADES MALL AND FOR 3 ENTIRE DAYS NOT ONE PERSON HAS PICKED UP THE PHONE. CALLED CORPORATE, HE CALLED THE STORE AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN ANSWER FOR HIM, AND ITS 2:20PM ON A TUESDAY, YOU ARE NOT THAT BUSY LET ALONE THAT BUSY FOR 3 ENTIRE DAYS. WANTED AN ANSWER TO A SIMPLE QUESTION. ALWAYS DIRTY AND DISGUSTING IN THE STORE, THE EMPLOYEES ALL THINK THEY KNOW MORE THEN EVERYONE AND THEY TALK TO PEOPLE LIKE THEY ARE BETTER THEN THEM. YET SOMEHOW THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO OR DON'T CARE ENOUGH TO ANSWER A SIMPLE PHONE CALL. NEGATIVE 50000000 STARS!!!!
