Just received a couple of blue heckel discus by mail, overnight by UPS from NY to NC. Their website is smooth and flawless. I picked out the 2 fish out of 7 that I wanted from great pictures that they sent and the fish arrived a few moments ago looking great. Certainly would definitely recommend doing business with this company.

What a great store. The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable. The stock was not your typical selection, too. Lots of fish you rarely see at other shops. All of the tanks were clean and the store was as well.On top of that, the plants and supplies they had were really quality brands that you won't see in the big pet stores (ex: Aquarium Co-op).

Erik Jay HasenstabThis Tropical fish store has an amazing selection of Asian Discus . When I walked in the door this past Wednesday , I was amazed by their selection of Discus . They had at least 200 different Discus with many different strains . I have been Breeding Discus for 40 years , they have the best selection of Premium Discus on long island . I walked out with 4 fully grown adults for my Breeding program.

Amazing prices and quality. I just set up my tank and I love it. Beautiful wood on stand was $30. Eleven diamond tetras was $50. There are wild caught and rare fish for excellent prices. Everything is quarantined.

I been following Chris from he started out in his basement but never met him in person. So I told him when he open up in Long Island New York I will be there ,and today I drove 2 and 1/2 hrs to pick up 2 beautiful high fin sharks and it was worth every penny. Thk you again Chris for everything

I just recently ordered an aba aba knife. It shipped to me super fast and really healthy. I typically don't feed the same day my shish arrive but I just tried to see if it would eat and it did. I will definitely be buy from Chris again great guy to work with 10/10 will be recommending him to others.

My daughter Lauren and I stopped in yesterday and were so impressed with Chris the owner and the store itself. I have been keeping freshwater tropical fish for many years and the selections in the store are amazing!! Lots of fish and prices for all types of people. Beginner, intermediate all the way to rare and highly collectible. Chris was nice enough to give us a tour of the basement where he quarantines his fish before selling to the public, ensuring you are getting a healthy well cared for fish. His knowledge of the industry is vast and he is willing to share it with you. We walked around for at least an hour just enjoying the tanks. Don’t forget to say hello to Zilla! He is awesome! I ordered a predator fish from Underground Aquaticz recently. I called the shop with a few questions. Very friendly and knowledgeable employee. Fish arrived well packed and looking healthy. One of the best and cleanest fish stores I have been to! They have a great selection of species that just look well kept and well taken care of. The pricing is good and the staff is very knowledgeable as well as friendly! Great store with an extremely knowledgeable staff! All fish appear to be healthy, happy, & in clean environments. They have tons of rare & exotic fish that you will not find anywhere else. The owners seem to be really passionate about their fish & welcome customers in with open arms. I really haven't seen any stores that can compare to this one. I am very pleased with my experience & I will definitely be returning to Underground Aquaticz regularly. This place is a gem!!

This is my new favorite fish store!! Beautiful store super clean and neat! This is a store where all the fish are clearly all happy and healthy. They have all the hottest fish and even the rare exclusives, prices are very good and accurate. The owners are very knowledgeable and polite such a great experience I can’t wait to go back! Chris was super helpful when it came to setting up my first tank. I bought my first fish, the king tiger striped pleco. He gave me advice and all the info I need to keep my fish happy and healthy. Also love the store, it was comfortable to be inside, other fish stores I been too were too humid. Great experience 👍🏻

Checked out this new fish store that just opened. Great selection of fish and very clean! Fish were all healthy and great looking. They had a bunch of rare hard to find fish. Staff was excellent and very nice! Definitely highly recommend to come check this store out!

Chris runs easily the most beautiful and cleanest fish store I’ve been too and I’ve been to them all, Global, Predatory, but there is something about the setup that gets me. I drove up from Atlantic City area to get two of my dream fish. He was closed Tuesday but that was the only day I could make it up because school started for me the very next day, so he let me come up even though he was closed and had a lot of work and maintenance to do, yet he greeted me outside as soon as I got there and walked me into the back of his store. He gave me a tour all over the store. Got to see his quarantine system and all other things you don’t ever see. Just the fact that he held the fish for me for nearly 3 weeks with out selling them shows me what type of guy he is. The fish were more than healthy. He’s a refreshing presence to have in the industry because he’s a man of his word and is also young and eager. Already making room for the next order from him. Will be a customer of his for a very long time!

You have to come visit Underground Aquaticz! The owner really knows his freshwater fish and this store is perfectly set-up to display one of the coolest selections of unique fish on Long Island. Everytime I walk in this shop I see something I have not seen before and Chris will tell you everything you need to know to. This is a place for real fish people.

If you are into rare fish that you don’t see everyday this is the place for you. This store has some of the rarest / odd ball species in the hobby. Not to mention they are educated about what they are selling . Not your average aquarium shop you wont see bettas or glow fish in this shop! Really excited about this place . If your in the area and you own an aquarium stop by and give these guys some business !!! 5 stars no doubt

Waz looking for large pieces of driftwood. Found a wide variety of different types of driftwood with sizes varying from small to extra large . Very reasonably priced . Dare I say ,far cheaper than many others . The young man was eager to help and share his fish knowledge with me. Also some very cool and rare fish . Will be a regular for sure

I recently got a moray eel and was referred to underground aquaticz after having problems with her environment and eating. He very quickly was able to address the situation and solve my issues over the phone. My eel is now happily eating and enjoying her environment. He was super helpful and kind. Visited this spot for the first time recently- absolutely amazing! Well maintained tanks with a variety of common to rare fish. I picked up some scissor tail rasboras that are doing perfectly.
