A kind, young gentleman was so incredibly helpful. Promptly answered all my questions besides one didn’t know an answer to (completely reasonable, because it wasn’t even his department) after I walked away, to exchange a product for the one he suggested instead; He went out of his way to googled the answer to my other question and he found me before heading out to tell me! Now THAT is good service, wish I caught his name so I could give him recognition he deserves!

Not only have we shopped here for years, for both our cats and dogs, we recently had beginner dog training with our 2 year old rescue from NYC's ACC. Lucas, the trainer, couldn't have been better! He was patient, considerate & knowledgeable with our new boy, Ozzy. Beyond this experience, Petsmart offers an array of food choices, treats, leashes, training items, toys, etc. I would highly recommend Petsmart to any "petparent" out there.

I bought a bag of Purina Pro Plan here on 11/6. When I opened it the next day, the bag was full of webs and maggots all throughout the food. I’ve never seen anything like it.My boyfriend and I returned the bag that evening, and the employee at the register could not have been less phased. She told us that there is an “infestation” in the store. Another employee walked by and pointed at the return at our feet and said, “Is it the worms again?” The cashier processed our refund and sent us on our merry way.I contacted PetSmart corporate that night and I’m absolutely shocked that no one has followed up to share measures that are being taken to mitigate this issue. After doing my own research, it seems that the store is suffering from an infestation of pantry moths, and continues to sell larva infested bags of food to unknowing customers - anything for a buck, huh, PetSmart?I wrote this review the day after we processed the return, but deleted it to give the store the chance to do the right thing and make contact about the issue. Clearly they don’t care enough for their customers in any regard. I will never shop at a PetSmart again and encourage others to do the same.

We love this store. The managers and staff are always cordial friendly and professional. It does not have that “ corporate “ feel to it , the employees actually care about their jobs. Manager Mike is always polite and helpful. Erin and Stephanie in grooming always make sure my dog gets in and are always accommodating. You can tell they love the animals and I trust them wholeheartedly with my pet. The store is always clean and well kept. Keep up the good work.

This is an absolutely amazing PetSmart. In my opinion it’s the best on Long Island. I got my Syrian hamster named Chester from that store location. If anyone is ever interested in getting a hamster you MUST see someone who works there named Nicholas. He is absolutely amazing at what he does, he is knowledgeable and is always happy to assist anyone. He helped me pick out the hamster that was best suited for me. My hamster and I are inseparable. If you haven’t checked out the West Babylon PetSmart I highly suggest you should!Also Kayla and her mother Stephanie (I think that’s her name) are super sweet and know a lot about small animals as well!!

Just an easy happy experience to shop for pet needs & gift ideas for animal lovers! The Girl Scouts helped drive food & pet needs for less fortunate keep their pets well. 💋💋💞💕💕❤️❤️💜💚💜💙😻😼😼😼😼! Do not take any advice from manager “Holly!” She has an ego about herself that will not allow her to listen to updated axolotl medical advice. She tried to recommend gravel and driftwood for my tanks. After telling her axolotls can die from ingesting gravel and that driftwood lets off tannins that is toxic to axolotls. She still managed to recommend lizard decor that is not approved for water exposure and would easily breakdown releasing toxins into my tank. She made me buy 3- 10 lb bags of sand that she said would only leave an inch high in the tank. 1 bag fit perfectly and I had to return the other 2. After telling me she would help me out to my car with the 30 gallon tank, she huffed off into the back after our discussion. I managed to let the first time go, but the second time I came back they tried telling me a 30 gallon is too small for an axolotl and I should upgrade. They just want your money, not the well-being of your pet. Please please do your own research and don’t take a pet stores advice to heart. Contact your vet!!!!

Brought 2 out of my 3 dogs here recently, very positive experience. The groomers were prompt, the dogs smelled wonderful after, and left wearing little bandanas. Bringing my 3rd dog tomorrow.

Rude management- ALWAYS running very behind- I’m sure some of the groomers are fine but it like going into a doctors office when the office staff is rude it makes for a none enjoyable experience. Give your money to someone else

Got my dog groomed and honestly I think they did horrible. I plucked my dog when I got home and basically pulled a second dog. Then didn't do much at all. They didn't trim his paw hair. Nothing just a waste of money.

I dropped my pup off for bath and full haircut & my girl was ready in less than 2 hours. It was our 1st time at this location and it was definitely worth the drive. Antonia did an amazing job. My baby came out happy, beautiful, and smelling amazing. Everyone there is so friendly and all the pups we saw being groomed were so relaxed and handled with care/love.

We had a bad experience with another dog grooming service where they didn't trim my dog's nails or dried him bc he was being " aggressive". At petsmart they didn't have any issues with my dog, and they were super friendly with him. He left there happy instead of stressful like at another place.

Great, great store! Depth and breadth of inventory, but what really makes it five stars is the employees. They are incredibly helpful and knowledgable. As a first time puppy adopter, I needed a lot of guidance and the staff was fantastic. Plus a super efficient order online-pick up in store process. Never expected a big box store to be able to offer such client focused, efficient service. So impressed.

My boy Oakley goes to Griffin to get groomed and he always comes out looking like a million! Griffin is also so compassionate with him and makes me so comfortable leaving my noy in his hands. Oakley loves him! 🐾💙 The whole staff is always so friendly and helpful with any questions you might have.

I brought my lab here for the first time to be groomed. He is partially blind. Jennifer the groomer listened to all my concerns and needs for him. She took such great care of him. He looked great. The store and grooming area were both very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely bring him back again. Thank you Jennifer for doing such an amazing job!
