The food and the waitress were very good. My only problem was that I ordered the cheesesteak omelette and it came with mushrooms. Mushrooms were not listed on menu as an ingredient. The waitress was very apologetic, it wasn't her fault. They took it back and ordered me a new one without mushrooms. I expected to atleast get a couple dollars off for the mistake. Or for an explanation from the cook, anything would of been appreciated.

I used to really love this restaurant. Now I spend $70 and get burnt bread and raw hamburger meat. The onions and mushrooms and peppers that were supposed to be cooked are essentially raw. Looks they saw heat for about two seconds. And the baked potato looks like it was cooked in a microwave. Unfortunately, this isn't a one time deal either. Been getting worse and worse the last couple years.Parking: Good luck getting out

Friendly staff. Great portions sizes. Pretty good price wise too. Overall i had a wonderful time there and if im ever back in the area i will return for more.

It's my first time there, and I love it. However, the cost irritates me. We bought 2 burgers and a chicken strips (with fries & applesauce) 2 coffee's and a Pepsi was total of 49$. I was angry for the cost of the coffee. The coffee was nearly 3$. If I compared that to McDonald's, it's 2$ more expensive than McDonald's.Another problem was the condition of the restaurant. The seats and the table were poorly conditioned. It was like nearly ripping apart.Set aside from those 2 problems, I love it! 4/5 stars!EDIT: *I heard this twice* I also love the trains going by, it's calming and relaxing!

most likely the absolute worst food my family and i have had. my brother asked for a slice of warm apple pie and it came out cold and with a hair in the whipped cream. my fathers ruben was extremely over cooked and my home fries were drenched in grease. not only was the food horrible but we were later told if my father paid card it was a $3 up charge for the “credit card fee” he paid debit card and tried to explain is was different and the money goes straight to the owner but the lady at the register didn’t want to hear what he said

I've lived all over this country and there's no Mom and Pop diners like there are in Chemung County! Out of all of them, "The 'Burg" has always been a family favorite. Great place for a cup of coffee and an amazing dessert, or to take the family for a meal.Parking: Easy on; easy outKid-friendliness: They're great with kids. High chairs, kid friendly menu options, coloring books and crayons for the little ones.Wheelchair accessibility: Paved lot with a ramp to the door.

I had heard great reviews from people. I expected better. Service was excellent but food was kind of a letdown. Bleu cheese on my burger was watery with no flavor. Onion rings were not crunchy as they should have been. Wife was not happy with the spaghetti at all. Sauce was full of peppers and onions,was all she could taste. Again, I will say the service was excellent.

My best friend and i stop to have lunch unfortunately we were very disappointed. I have chicken cheese steak and corn chowder soup .it was the worst of both i have ever had . My tummy is still upset. My friend had a burger and fries. She also disliked hers very much. I cant believe they serve food like tbis and get paid for it. Wont be back! Charge to much for food like this ! Very disappointed! Not like it use to be before the fire !

First time here. Great breakfast at a fair price. Our son was not feeling the best. The waitress could tell and she went out of her way to try to cheer him up. We look forward to returning when we are back to the area.

(We were there around 7pm.)Food was very good..service was substandard...waitress ran outdoors to chat with someone while we sat for over 5 minutes waiting to order...Also, the dark brown poles in front of the door, in parking lot, you might want to paint a bright color...that dark brown was hard to see in the dark.

The food and portions have just went downhill and the prices have went up. I got chicken and biscuits that I could easily tell was canned chicken.the breakfast portions have gotten smaller. I’m not impressed!
