What a lovely stop! We picked up firewood for $20 a wheel barrel full, it’ll be enough to last us our whole camping trip! We got to pet a cat and a black lab named Sassy. The gentleman running the stop was friendly and helpful! Highly recommend!

Woody is an icon… possibly a legend in his own time. He’s got a tale for every occasion, dogs that always need petting and if you have a question about fishing the area, there’s no one better to ask. Yes, there are stores with a bit more variety in the area, but you won’t find a place with a bigger heart and soul than Woodys.

The folks that run this shop are an awesome couple. These folks went out of there way to find me a trailer hitch pin that I lost while camping. Also have the best deal on wood and it burned excellent. So in a nut shell if you want friendly service. And quality wood, then go to Woody's

The wood here is the driest I have ever seen and the couple who own this place are the nicest people I've ever met. If you are going camping stopping at woody's is a must.

Best wood and nice people. They remember us and the kids from the 1st time we visited. Always have little goodies for the kids. If you need storage for a boat or camper, how's a dollar a day? Not bad, especially on the island. It's not a big place, but if you need groceries, the store on the main drag and Price chopper aren't that far away anyhow.

Woody's got cheap and hard wood. Some local establishments claim to have hard wood but it doesn't last. Woody's ligitmenantly has hard wood that burns slow and hot. Don't buy from anyone but Woody's.
