Went here for brunch. Ordered coffee sausage gravy over home fries with crispy bacon. My son ordered the kids pancakes with crispy bacon. The company I was with both ordered toast ,home fries,eggs and hash. The only difference in their order was one had wheat toast the other had white toast. The coffee was good. It wasn't to weak or strong which was nice. The sausage gravy over the homfries was delicious. Most of the home fries were crispy like I like them. They also got my "crispy bacon" order right which I was glad about. I have to say this is one of the better sausage gravies around the area that I've had. Also when they brung my order of sausage gravy over home fries out. It was huge. My son enjoyed his childrens pancakes and crispy bacon. My company also really liked their order. Which was also very large in size. We had a great experience. Our food came out quickly.The staff was attentive and friendly aswell. I will definitely be going here again sometime.We had no problem paying with a card it worked just fine.This is somewhere I recommend checking out.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Outstanding place! The service was top-notch and exactly what you hope for in a family restaurant. Delicious home-cooked meals and a kids menu that has something for every picky eater. My only regret is I didn't get to try dessert because it looked great!Update: I've been back and dessert was, in fact, great. Service and food remain outstanding, and our server took special care of us and our road-weary kids. We will be stopping in again soon!Kid-friendliness: Our server was awesome with our kids, and the kids menu includes Kraft Mac and Cheese for the pickiest eater. Lots of great options for the more adventurous too. Manually toilets too for those who are scared of automatic

Great for kids and adults. Good, reasonably priced, homestyle food. Quick service, nice people! Definitely a good place to stop! One tip to management: don't drop the check without asking if anyone wants dessert! Grandkids always want dessert. Lol.

This is your quintessential family restaurant in the heart of America. Everything from meatloaf to lasagna, stuffed pork chops to burgers. We had 1 strawberry shake that was enough for 2 people & if you are still hungry they have many pies for dessert. I think our waitress was one of the owners. They took good care of us with their American comfort food! Very economical & worth the stop!

Your typical small town family diner. We were there on a Sunday around noon, and they were serving the breakfast menu. The server brought crayons and coloring book for the kids. All the staff were friendly, and the food was good. Homefries really tasted like home cooking.

Good fish fry! Great service! Our waitress really set the atmosphere--friendly, funny, and warm with everyone.Update 2/3/23: Stopped in for lunch today. I had the haddock sandwich again because it was so good the first time. Their fries are perfectly crisp and light. Others at my table had the patty melt (again as well) and the special, sloppy joe. It was huge and I had to take a taste. Hopefully they'll have that again. It was perfectly spiced and the flavor was amazing!

My wife, kids, and I visited for lunch on a Sunday. Food was pretty good. Service and atmosphere were fantastic! Exactly the kind of place we were looking for.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly! They have a good kids menu and the staff were really friendly & helpful with them.

We stopped in on a recent Saturday for dinner.We were all pleasantly surprised for all three dinners were absolutely delicious. The restaurant was clean but dated. I had high hopes based on other people's reviews and it is fairly close to the thruway so we decided to give it a shot. I don't know what the quality of the food is as we didn't get that far. We walked in and they were busy. It took a bit for them to clear tables. Once we sat down (seat yourself) we waited 15 minutes without one employee acknowledging us. There were people that came in after us that received quick service and pleasantries. I'm assuming they were "regulars" because they were referred to by name. I understand you're busy, I understand you're short staffed. I do not understand at least taking a moment to say "Hello" or attempting some sort of customer service. We were so frustrated we walked out. How disappointing.

Went for lunch. My first time. Based on reviews I thought it would be better. Disappointed to say the least. My friend ordered a side salad. The tomato had mold on it and the cucumber was slimy. Like it had been frozen. When we brought it to the waitresses attention. No apology was given. Just replaced it with another salad. They also ordered spaghetti and meatballs. There was one dry meatball on top of what looked like salsa on pasta. Very runny with a few tomatoes not a sauce at all. I also feel the prices were high for the quality of food. 7.99 for a tuna sandwich with potato chips. Won't be going back.

I went here tonight for dinner with my 7 year old and 4 year old. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The kids got free ice cream with their dinners off the kid’s menu.

We had a late lunch before heading to the races yesterday. I read the reviews and thought we would give it a try. They do not disappoint. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are fair. The waitress was amazing and personable. We will be back the next time we come to town.

I was part of a group of 4 and we stopped in for breakfast. I had never been there but my friends had. The waitress was very nice. We had breakfast food. It came out quickly and was very good. The hash browns were home cooked with onions and was extra crispy. It was very tasty. Plus the portions were plentiful. I had a bacon and cheese omelet and it was huge. My husband had eggs and hash and he was very satisfied! The other couple had eggs and they were very happy as well. Nice place and clean.

just moved in nearby and came here with a friend who was raised going here when he was in school with his dad every morning. he hadn't been there in a long time and said everything still looks the same and it still has the same atmosphere, iv gone here so far for breakfast and dinner and the food is just great! downhome, diner style breakfast food with some good specials as well! dinner service was great, good selection and pricing on everything, really has country style/homemade cooking quality's on a lot of the food iv had so far! will be coming here often!

This is our favorite restaurant! We’ve been coming now for a couple of years, at least a few times a month. The staff (especially Miss Sandy and Miss Diane) are so nice and welcoming. They are patient with my kids, and treat them like royalty. The food is delicious, definitely has a homecooked vibe. You get big portions for a very fair price. Middle of the week is the best time to go, if you can. Its a little slower and more relaxed 😊

My husband and I stopped there for coffee and to check our map on our way to the Adirondacks. The ladies there were so friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. Unfortunately we couldn't stay to eat but the menu looked great with very reasonable prices and other customers were absolutely raving about the food. Everything homemade. Other guests recommended getting there early on Fridays cuz it's packed! The town atmosphere was old town and quaint. Wish we could have stayed to eat. 5 stars.

We were staying in town for a local soccer tournament and searched for somewhere to grab a nice dinner. We picked Arnold's mainly because of the customer reviews and found that their high rated was well-deserved! Our waitress was phenomenal oh, our food was fast and delicious, the portions were amazing and the prices were fabulous. My son had the kids meal burger and fries, and for one of the first times in forever ate the burger first! That's a 5star recommendation. My daughter had a greek salad which she took half of back to the hotel for later, and a cup of chili which she proclaimed 'very tasty.' My wife had the gravy covered hot roast beef sandwich, which she raved about from crust to crust! I had what may have been my best liver and onions in decades! It was perfectly cooked and the onions were plentiful, crisped nicely, and hiding a layer of tasty bacon! This was a fantastic dining experience and one we will replicate if we are in the area again. Thank you Arnold's!

The service was awesome I arrived hungry I was served right away in a pack Dining Room I had the haddock stuffed crab meat and couldn’t even finish it maybe I should’ve skipped that delicious taco soup I would recommend this place to anybody and I am coming back here next time I’m anywhere near it

I usually hate leaving bad reviews but this place was gross. I was surprised considering all the good reviews but it was awful! Everything was so greasy. My meatball sub was so soggy I had to eat it with a fork and I ate like one meatball before saying I was done. My mom said the burgers tasted like dog food. I feel disgusting and sick after eating there. Even the couple in front of us said their pasta was awful too. I don't know if this place is just slacking lately, but I can safely say we are not coming back.
