There’s no better place to get a parrot than Birds Unlimited. As they say, “You can buy a bird from another store, but you can't buy one from a better store.” The reason for this? The owner Paul. He’s not the warmest person in the world but he doesn’t need to be, he’s a bird person. His knowledge of parrots is unparalleled and he passes this on to the great staff who truly love and care for their animals. Keeping a bird is a huge responsibility which most people don’t seem to understand. The staff are there to help educate and direct you to the best species for you and your lifestyle. Or they might even talk you out of a bird as a poor fit. The love and priority they give their birds is why I’ll only shop at Birds Unlimited.

Birds Unlimited is a wonderful establishment! Not only is the store amazing but so is the Birds Unlimited website, updated daily and packed full of information that is extremely useful. I have hardly ever had such fantastic service from any store. Upon entering BU, you are greeted with a kind attitude and a friendly face. The workers always ask if you need any help or have any questions. I am so incredibly impressed with the entirety of the store. From exotic birds, toys, cages, treats, seeds, pellets, grooming, boarding, DNA testing, perches, bird safe fragrances, one of a kind apparel, to stickers, I could go on and on! This store is a treasure! To go to a place that will give you everything you will need for a happy and healthy feathered friend is a blessing. I genuinely love this place, I am thankful to all that work there.

My dad got an African grey from this place some years back and we have had nothing but a great experience! The owner is awesome, usually walking around and you can tell that he really cares about every bird in his store. The workers have also always been super friendly and helpful with whatever we were looking for.

This store and it's employees went above and beyond to not only help us in the store but were so accommodating for our first appointment to have our rescued bird's nails and beak trimmed! I give Birds Unlimited my highest recommendation!!!

Thrilled to visit Birds Unlimited every time I visit Webster NY! Let's face it, we can access anything we need or want online. But nothing can replace the joy of shopping in person, chatting with knowledgeable bird lovers, playing with the birds there, physically picking up, and checking out the toys! Prices are reasonable. The owner is a common sense, down to earth, experienced bird lover, and a pleasure to talk with. Staff are friendly, and I love the huge variety of inventory. Very clean and attractive establishment.

Paul’s store has been my go to since before I ever got parrots. Paul and his staff are very knowledgeable and don’t try to push a parrot onto someone, I love how they ask questions and ensure a parrot is right for a person first. They always have the best selection of food and toys and aren’t afraid to add things to the store that you ask for. Every time we come in there is always someone cleaning the paper under cages or cleaning bowls, the parrots are active and look happy and healthy.Paul handles our macaws effortlessly for grooming, our green wing can be very aggressive to those she doesn’t know and she always comes out looking great and without issues. There are other parrot store out there but Paul’s will forever be our favorite and the one we go to.

Great place to go to learn about pet birds of all types! You can browse the store and visit all types of birds! Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of baby and adult birds available. Owner Paul Lewis has been involved with pet birds/parrots for years and has unlimited (like the store name! lol!) knowledge and advice. He can offer insight to folks who want to know what type of pet bird would fit their lifestyle. He also continues to support and enlighten folks who have pet birds already and seek more information regarding their pet bird ownership. I purchased my Rose Breasted cockatoo from Paul about 18 years ago and my African Gray Parrot 2 yeas ago. I am a regular customer at Birds Unlimited for food, toys, and advice!!

Paul is by far the most knowledgeable avian person I have met. He can handle any bird with ease and less trauma for your bird. The staff is friendly and all of the babies he sells are well handled so you have an excellent pet. I drive almost an hour to his store because he is the best.

If you've got questions about your bird or any kind of supplies. Fabulous store they're there for you... I have my birds in for a "mani-pedi, and I wouldn't buy my birds food & toys anywhere else. They also have an extensive bird cage selection... A+

Birds unlimited is a favorite stop Every Single time we go to Webster we absolutely visit. There are so many beautiful exotic birds and they have a beautiful nursery as well. You will see Conures, Quakers, Cockatiels, Love birds, canaries, parrots, Macaws, and even some really unusual birds like a beautiful Raven and some other unique breeds around the edges. There are a variety of smaller birds like canaries, and finches as well. If you want to socialize or have your child socialize with a bird, they allow that as well. It is really fun to have a bird perch in your finger! There is a huge selection of bird cages and toys for birds of all sizes. They have bins with foods and treats that you can fill and purchase per pound. There are many cute little gift or stickers, magnets you can buy for a keepsake. Whenever you go to Webster you must stop in. Bring around all of those beautiful birds and kind staff will always make your day brighter!

Everything about this place is great; staff is as helpful as they are knowledgeable (very), they've got a great selection of happy, healthy birds (many bread in-house), & everything else one would need & want for their birds. Premier bird store in WNY, in my opinion. Each & every visit is always a pleasure... highly recommend this place for anyone within 200 miles considering a pet bird of any kind.

I used to like coming here but now it seems like it's more about what kinda "bird merchandise" you can get and less about the toys and enrichment that Paul used to give. I moved on to find better options. But I wished they cared less about stickers and leggings than getting new toys or more things for birds.

I never write reviews but I went out of my way to make a profile to inform you of the experience I had in your store. I felt extremely uncomfortable with the service I got from the new girl that was recently hired, she was completely dismissive of me. I get that stores are busy at times but I thought I would get a better level of service after I had been loyal to you all these years. I literally left in tears and promise I will not be returning, I just thought you should know that I believe you can do better as a establishment.
