Went to this location today (11/01/23). Found a electronic cart device that an employee left in one of the carts. I went to give it to Customer Service. The guy at the desk was very rude and nastily stated "Just put it on the counter" (No Thanks or smile, or anything, just a rude, snarky boy).I then go to the Deli to get some meats and cheeses. When we get to the Braunschweiger, the two girls behind the counter did not even know what I was talking about (clearly printed on the label on the one in the case---b.t.w. - it's also known as Liverwurst). Anyway, I had asked for a pound of it, and when they went to get it ready for slicing, all the outer packaging was already stripped away from the meat. I left without any. You really need Deli employees in there that know how to do their job properly, especially with the meats and cheeses! I will continue to go to Market Bistro in Latham (never again to the Watervliet store), but maybe get my 'Liverwurst' at Wal-Mart or Hannaford going forward!******************************************************************2/7/24 - Well, I unfortunately went to this PC location as it was on my way home and needed supplies. After getting everything else I was looking for Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowls and other stuff. Did not see it anywhere. The "Breakfast" freezer had pancakes and waffles and the like", but I went up and down looking in all the freezer sections - no Jimmy Dean products. I asked an employee filling one of the freezers - he didn't know where anything was.I went up to Customer Service (Let's call him "Mr. Snarky"). Well, I asked him where the Jimmy Dean Products were in the store. He called someone over a walkie-talkie and they said if it is not in the aisles then they are out. NO. HELP. WHATSOEVER. I left and went else where for my groceries AND got the Jimmy Dean I was looking for. As I left the Watervliet location, I left my bags in the cart. I went back to retrieve them and Mr. Snarky said; "Have a nice day" (not in the way you would think).I will go out of my way now to go to another grocery store and avoid this one AT ALL COSTS. {And by the way Watervliet PC, this is what they look like when found - and by the quantity of types there are - you CANNOT be out of them all!} (photos taken at another store)

Had to do a quick order of flowers on my friends birthday and just ordered their fresh cut flowers. It was so nicely made that it beats any of the pricey ones. Unfortunately in that city - there was no pro flowers shop or anything. And local groceries proved they are the best at serving others

I've been going to this Price Chopper since it replaced the old one and I love it. I like that they've brought in security guards that actually pull security because some Troy and Watervliet kids like to cause trouble and steal stuff. I witnessed a gaggle of them get banned for life and it was great. The cashiers are super friendly and the stock guys are always putting stuff on the shelves. It's pretty awesome being able to walk to a grocery store instead of burning gas on a 3 minute drive.

I shop here often and I will never come back . I was in self checkout and there were a couple men doing instacart and they didn’t speak English and the registers don’t have an option to operate in different languages. Anywho Norma E the associate displayed the most disgusting customer service. She mocked them because they couldn’t communicate with them. After the two men left she went to town stating if you can’t speak English you don’t need to be here I’m not doing your job….. as she snickered with the security guard who instantly saw I was watching and listening. I decided to say something and she was upset I told her behavior is disgusting and I’m pretty sure her behavior isn’t what Price Chopper/ Market 32 represent . She started to say you didn’t hear what they said to me nd I stated miss you just mocked them for not speaking English . She instantly quiet down because she knew she was wrong

Ive been shopping at this store for four months and in thAt time I purchased raspberries with maggots in em(i ate at least one of em), moldy bread, rotten tangerines , spoiled pork chops and a "cook it today or throw it out" pork shoulder. I will continue to shop there because i dont drive and really have no choice but im not at all happy about it

Went here today looking for international food section and a whole section was missing. Voiced my complaint and the store manager that was white said go to where YOU PEOPLE shop. Saying it had nothing to do with me being black but meant Walmart..

Way too busy, sales are never actually worth it, and if they are they often don't ring up correctly at checkout. Go to Hannaford or Aldi.

Not bad for a small New York grocery store even though it's part of a chain good produce section and nice selection of other Foods could use more diverse IPA beers but the service and from employees is great some prices are higher than you might find elsewhere even though it is a chopper for better newer option try Price Chopper Fresh Market or Marketplace a little more of a drive but newer and nicer

I only stop here on occasion. They always seem busy there. When I stop there, I'm usually grabbing a few items and I like to run in and out fast, not always possible. There's nothing wrong with the store just a preference. I like the East Greenbush one due to logistics.

It was a great experience and I actually met a nice young man while shopping there. His name was Cameron Sentmier I believe. Kid puts in the hours and still has a great attitude even when I was having a bad day. He definitely helped make it better. If I was the manager I would give him a raise. 5 stars!

I frequent the PC Market Bistro in Latham. However, I stopped at the PC location in Watervliet because it fell in my line of travel. All employees were very polite, professional, and willing to help if needed (with the exception of the cashier who must have been having a bad day). The store was clean and organized. I only had one item that they didn't stock, and a couple that were sold out because they were on sale.There has been a noticeable improvement in this store since I last visited. Overall, thumbs up, thank you, PC!

Woman at customer service desk 02/08 12:20 pm.Stole $10 bottle slip from me. Said I only gave $20 worth when I had 3 $10 slips and a little extra $0.20 ones.She took my slips, turned around for a minute or so, then came back to the register and “counted” them.Thieves are working there so watch out!

Fire the "security guard" already for ****'s sake.All he does is lean on a grocery cart and doesn't give a **** about packs of teenagers stealing.Check the cameras, I'm not making this up.Get your **** together already and if you can't do that simple task just demolish the building and sell the land.

I was exhausted after a brutal work week and it was 9:45pm and I needed something sweet. I went in and shopped and got into Peter W.’s station to check out. Right from the beginning he was alert, courteous and helpful. I yawned said I was sorry but I was beat. He said it was no problem and offered to bag for me. We exchanged some pleasantries and he made me laugh and looked me straight in the eyes while speaking to me. He told me to go home and enjoy the evening and my sweets and get some rest, then complimented me on my handbag of all things! In the middle of this global crisis we have a shortage of patience that has overtaken everyone. Common respect and decency have become almost extinct. This man provided a great service to me by simply being respectful, cheerful and showing concern for my well being. Watervliet Price Chopper needs to keep this gentleman. People like him are difficult to come by. I’ll always give PC my business.

Never a good experience at this location. Always to few cashiers no matter the time of day. The parking lot always seems crowded but maybe that's just the drivers driving like there's nobody else in the lot. The parking was the same in the old location. Selection of foods seems a bit short compared to other locations. I only go there when there's no other option.There are some good things for this location. It is usually clean in appearance and well stocked. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful.

The bakery had no steak rolls out, my wife asked one of the associates and John in the bakery was very happy to package some fresh out of the oven for her. Excellent customer care!

I don't understand how a grocery store is completely out of bags for customers. I had brought my own reusable ones but the cashier said to me " do you have any more bags" I said no, she was well we're completely out oh well.

The prepared food is awful. No salt or seasoning. The prices are good though. Bring your own bags. They use paper which is inconvenient if catching the bus or walking as they tear very easily. You can reload your Navigator card here.

Shopped at Price Chopper in Watervliet this morning.They seemed to be the only Price Chopper in the area that had Cape Cod Kettle Cooked potato chips.The kind w/sea salt but 60%less sodium. I purchased 3 bags for back up and emergencies.In browsing around,I found the store to be clean, and the store staff to be very friendly,with a adequate knowledge base of the store layout,along with locations of most items.This information is a necessity for customers who shop there occassionally. But with this kind of friendly atmosphere,it won't be my last time.

I like it. It may not be the chain's biggest store but they have most of what I usually shop for. Best of all (besides being close to my home) is they usually have someone to bag the groceries. Remember when all grocery stores did that? I like that so much better than the self service lanes.

Prices are higher than hannaford overall. Selection is poor, deli prices are absolutely outrageous, store has a cluttered and crowded feel to it, and the cashier in my lane was very slow.Poorly designed, exit after cashier area is to small, 1 perso stops to purchase instant lottery tickets and everyone else must wait.

Smaller store but packed tight with food and products. Lots of empty shelves from sale items so normally have to make more than one trip to a store. Spacing in ailes and checkouts is horrible as well as the amount of employees and registers open. This is a very busy location and not staffed appropriately. Also tore the church down for this site. Sad.

Clean, store stock is slowly getting better. Some employees are refreshing and others can do without. Went just last night I see some holes are filing back. Which is good but then since new managers arrival they have no employees some days front end shut down, Oh my it is kindergarten Chao's. If your lucky to get a day or evening that there running with enough staff for all Dept. Open and your able to get all your needs met then congrats now to the golubs you're business located in Watervliet N.Y. Needs attention its properly not 1 of your biggest earning stores but it sure is relied upon. So please give them some payroll. Thanks Acollins

Good spot for a neighborhood grocery store. Only unfortunate thing was the team member working at the deli in the evening was not friendly! He tossed the deli on the counter instead of handing it to me which is not good customer service!

A lot better than there other price chopper. I go there every now and then. Its a fair star rating price chopper to go to. They have a sit down and there own bathroom. They have self checkouts even though lines seems to be very long often. I would recommend coming here.

Prices are stupid high. Long lines at the register because they refuse to hire more staff (I feel so bad for their staff they all are so over worked.)
