I live about three miles outside of town and this is my go-to for basics - cleaning products, vitamins, ibuprofen, etc. Sure, it won't have the fancy stuff, but it'll have you covered for most needs.Prices are right and staff is friendly. Store is always clean and parking is never an issue.

Great place to shop for the little things. Can be a little messy at times, but the employees stay on top of it. Also one of the fridges for the food/drinks are always out of service. Besides that, I would of given this a 5 star.

Their employees work like dogs. That way of thinking "do more with less" attitudes corporations have is very evident here. The employees are great and hardworking. But the company policy on merchandise is unreliable, whether it's kitty litter brand, or maxi pad brand or laundry soap, find it once but never again like at ALDI's. I understand Aldi's approach at finding deals and sending the limited deals to us but General Dollar isn't Aldi's or Ollie's! Don't even get started on consistent prices or their coupon app, ugh! Only shop there if I must.

Worst place for the trucker to deliver at. Steep incline. Pull out rolltainer is a nightmare especially when the floor is wet. Moon walking with rolltainer is not fun.

Love the new craft section..artist supplies..canvases...and craft items. Keep adding to it..Diamond Paintings and supplies hot now. Would love to see those. Thanks. Deb

Waterville Dollar general is the best. I have always liked the employees there more than any other Dollar general. They work hard.

I prefer the Dollar General in hamilton but the one in Waterville is also easily accessible and the staff is always available and helpful..
