A great Organic option when least expected driving through Watertown. The cafe has some tasty food and the attached organic grocery is a nice combination. The coolest part is that the cafe is on a honor system, letting you order and eat what you want, add on a tasty cookie later or whatever, and then when your all done pay at the front register. Good to see some trusting peeps in the world still. Hope this concept flourishes for the owners and workers 👍

As a travelling vegetarian, I was already very grateful to find a restaurant offering vegetarian options of meals in small town like this. On top of that, however, the veg BLT I just had from there was very good, very impressive so thank you so much for making my life easy while travelling! 😊🙏🏻

A natural foods grocery store/restaurant combo. I didn't look at the restaurant but there were some premade sandwiches and soups in a deli case. Wide variety of drinks like kombucha, snacks like crackers and granola, and a decent bulk foods section. There was also a whole aisle of just supplements, if that's your thing.

Great quality, but a bit pricey. The Mustard Seed does many things well. It is a health combination health food, specialty grocery and cafa. They have a good assortment of products that are difficult to find elsewhere. They often have product samples available. The cafe area toward the rear of the store is worth a visit to enjoy lunch or a quick snack. The employees are friendly and helpful.

I ordered a Salad 🥗 & it was absolutely delicious also a fresh mixed berry smoothie with coconut 🥥 milk in my smoothie.The presentation of the salad 🥗 was really done well as you can see here from the 📸 photo..Great setting outback of this place to sit & relax & enjoy your oder.Bon appetite

Love having a store like this in Watertown. The prices are a bit steep, but I like getting treats and stuff from the cafe. I wish they served a few more fully vegan soups and entrées though; when I have lunch here with friends, I usually have to buy something from the grocery section while they get hot food. At least they always have a vegan desert option! :)

I got one of the prepared salads a few months ago and it had 2 maggots in it. They were super great and refunded me and it was my first bad experience so I let it slide. I decided this week to give it another try… I picked out a salad and first thing I did was make sure nothing was it it.. bottom left of container had a maggot. As much as I love the food I’ll never be eating here again.

This used to be a nice place to stop and eat. NOT ANYMORE. 01FEB20 - 2:30 pm. Crafts of coffee empty. One sandwich with hair in it. One wrap with several hairs in it. Rock hard cookie. Best of all, when I asked for a new cookie I was charged again for another cookie. Wife spoke to manager and he did refund cookie and wrap. We did not mention the sandwich as my daughter ate it anyway. I have no doubt the manager would have comped that one too. Store itself is still nice with lots of selections and alternative natural items. However, new staff members especially in the kitchen need improvement.

Just had one of the best cakes I've ever had in my entire life made by The Mustard Seed. I called them Friday morning and placed an order for an egg-free, gluten-free birthday cake for Sunday. We just ate some of this cake about 30 minutes ago and I can NOT wait any longer to post about how good it is!!! The cake is moist, fluffy and the vanilla flavor is deep and delicious. Super creamy butter cream frosting and decorated perfectly. Honestly, I have no dietary restrictions. I ordered this for someone who does. But this cake is so much better than any I have had before I plan to order the same cake any time I need one for anyone, whether they eat gluten free or not!

Since moving to the area I've visited this store on average 2/3 times a week. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The crockpot specials are my favorite and everything is reasonably priced.

One of the best Health Food Stores I've been to in the US. The Staff is knowledgeable and are quite happy to help. The Manager is top notch also. The atmosphere is upbeat anytime of the day. The cafe has awesome healthy cuisine!

Great place with a great assortment of health products, natural, organic, veg and vegan stuff. Found some great vegan cheeses better than any others I had tried! Staff was nice, polite and helpful and most items seemed priced in line with national averages. Found gardien brand crab cakes here, which j didn't even know existed! What a treat! I don't live in this area, I was visiting family...but I will definitely be back.

I have always loved shopping here. The staff are always so friendly and knowledgeable. In my 5-10 years of going here regularly I have never had a bad experience, which really speaks volumes! After having such a horrible experience at Green Planet Grocery yesterday, I appreciate even more the always friendly and over the top service I get from the Mustard Seed. Never going to GP again!

The food there is absolutely delicious, and healthy to boot!! My wife and I went in for lunch, and we both got the portabello Panini. When it got to our table, the sandwiches looked Bea, but the smell...omg the smell was fantastic. I took the first bite...and mind was promptly blown. It was soooo good. The staff in the store are all wonderful, and more than willing to help you. It's become one of my favorite stores in town.

Highly recommend! I have celiacs disease and have eaten here on multiple occasions with no reaction! The kitchen staff is so friendly, welcoming, and accommodating! If you have food allergies the staff will take all precautions against cross contamination too!

I contacted this location to ask if they are carrying products from No Evil Foods - and yes, they are. I cannot understand why they are okay with supporting a brand that crushed a union effort, fired organizers, paid thousands in a labor board settlement, and then terminated their whole production team without warning or severance. Not a good look y'all!

The Mustard seed has excellent top notch variety for all kinds of diets and lifestyles from food to supplements and even bulk spices. I am proud to have a local natural store in the area dedicated to their customers. Yes things are pricey but they are a good price for being quality vegan/gluten free/Organic/ Dairy free options.

The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Willing to go above and beyond for customers. They even offered to mail vitamin supplements to my Grandmother because she lives in Carthage to save her the time and gas- Now that's great service! Their prices are also very fair for high quality, plant based supplements! Of course, You pay more here then you would at Walmart but that is because you pay for the overall quality of the supplement in which are respectably and sustainable harvested and produced and again made from a plant source so your body can actually absorb them rather then excrete it as you would with most main stream vitamin brands!

And that's Health.Even though many of us have set aside rational discourse in the public arena, completely abjure large swaths of common sense, and gave loose our completely capable free thinking cognitive minds in the form of fear, or other selfish reasons to the largest corporations known to man, corporations that hold the largest criminal court settlements in history regarding "health", there is still a place you can go to empower yourself, to re awaken yourself, and above all to liberate yourself from the dominate stranglehold of the med_ical cartels laughing their happy posteriors to the bank. Literally. If you want to make changes in your life because you know something just isn't right, look in the mirror, get your ordure together, then go to the mustard seed and start the journey of empowerment. Went in store today, walked all over the store (30min) looking for an item. Employee's just walked by and never ask if I need assistance!!! I get asked all the time in Walmart if I need help! Icing on the cake!!! White lady walked in, with in 2sec they jumped to help!!! Yes I could have asked for help, but I'm the consumer!!! Never AGAIN, thanks Amazon!!!
