My pitbull Blue goes there daily I have him kept active playing and socializing as well as training and the Canine activity training....Blue gets excited when we get close to the plaza as he recognizes where we are he LOVES his daycare and friends both 2 and 4 legged.... I enjoy all the folks that are involved with Blue and am Very Pleased with Blues progress he started there at just about 81/2 months old and is about to turn 10 months .... Was told they cannot offer doggie daycare to my 6 month old (80 lb) puppy because he isn't neutered?? He's not even old enough yet! Was told once he is, to let them know...so he has to wait 6 MONTHS before he can go to a daycare? CRAZY

I can’t say enough about North Country Canine. We did the three week behavior modification board and train, when you see the price you may think…no way. I promise you it is worth every cent, and cheaper than some of the other comparable programs in the area. We dropped Mason off 21 days ago and I could barely even talk to the trainer about his behaviors and his personality without having to yell. He was barking, pulling me on the leash, and very nervous. We picked him up tonight and it was like he was a different dog. He walks on his leash ALMOST perfectly, heels, sits when I stop. He is able to “place” on his cot until told to move. He had so many distractions tonight with people coming in for classes and my children running around the training room he was in, and he sat in place the entire time. They educated me on his new training tools such as the ecollar and the prong collar, and told me what expectations I needed to have for Mason and what to work on at home. Mason also goes home with six additional private lessons so I can feel confident and “proof” his new training in different environments.If you don’t feel like reading all that I’ll sum it up… North Country Canine is the BEST! The team of trainers there are very good at what they do. They literally changed our lives for the better and we can’t thank them enough for all their hard work. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So happy to have NCC. They really care and love our fur baby as their own. They have a lot of compassion and love for what they do. The knowledge of K9s the owner and her staff have is emense. This is definitely a hid gem in the north country.

North Country Canine is the #1 place to board and train your dog. Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Hedy Starr has vast experience training dogs, their stats has passion and it shows. I’ve trusted them twice to board and train my 100 lb American Bully and they have taken great care to exercise him train him and even accommodated a special diet. When I picked up my dog you can clearly see his obedience increased. I was very pleased with their overall quality of service and professionalism. They have multiple training classes for puppies and obedience classes plus agility and scent work. I highly recommend bringing your dog and signing them up for training or trusting them with your pooch for an extended stay or day care. NCC is top notch!

Claire is a fantastic trainer and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for dog training in any form! She is SO knowledgeable about everything dog related. She takes the time to understand your dog and their behaviors to help better train them. I also feel like a much better handler and knowledgeable dog owner because of everything Claire has taught me. I did scentwork training with her and now my girl is flying through trials. Not only has it been fun for my dog but also me!

Hedy is a phenomenal trainer. She helped train me how to raise and train my service dog Olivia. I didn’t know anything but how to train sit. And she helped lay a solid foundation and basics, and then we worked up into more complex tasks. I truly feel like I’m able to communicate with Olivia in a way that she understands, and she can communicate with me and I’ll understand. Having my dog be able to trust me and count on me is just as important as me being able to count on her. 100% recommend!!

North Country Canine is AMAZING! We absolutely love Hedy, Claire and the other girls! Hedy has helped a lot with training our female German shepherd! She is amazing with dogs and very helpful teaching owners how to train them! We love the Play and Train at North Country Canine because our German shepherd gets mentality and physically stimulated throughout the day! HIGHLY recommend taking your pup there for daycare or training!

I could not be happier! I sent my daughter's Serive Dog in Training to North Country Canine to complete her training, and to ensure Lollipop was stable in tempermant, ability, had her advanced training, and of course, the tasks my daughter needed.She has come back ready to attended school with my daughter. Having multiple people at the facility with knowledge and skills made me extremely comfortable to leave her for a board and train. I got updates including pictures and videos of the things that were being accomplished, as well as silly ones... Because this girl is a Goober!! 😂I have another Service Dog started and will absolutely be making the trip to have him finish and proofed their as well.As far as cost, they offer a free week if you do a board and train for 4 weeks. They also offer training via Zoom, so they can show you the training to be completed that week, in steps, and you work on them during the week. That is amazing! In addition, they will work with you on travel to get the dog there and back. I live in NC, and it is my opinion that going to NY for training, was the best decision we ever made!!

I have worked with Claire extensively and her skills,knowledge, and love of dogs is always very apparent! She helped us so much with our Belgian Malinois in obedience, and exposing us to elements of scent, agility and dock diving ( our pup won a medal in a competition she made us aware of!) She also encourages and supports both the “student” and handler, which in my case was invaluable.

First of all we love Hedy, she was dedicated to bringing a blended k9 familyof 4 large breed dogs together and we are forever greatful.Hedy was very succesful in training  our very  beautiful German shepard puppy ,two Golden retrievers and a American Staffshire  to have a non reactive  disposition towards one another. She worked with us until everything about our lives at home were stress free. All of the pups are very well mannared, behaved, fun loving and protective.Hedy lives and breaths the lives of all kinds of animals  and is  knowledgeable in all facets of their training.She is a very  thoughtful and creative trainer who sees each dog as an individual.  rather than just a breed. Everything about your dog and its  inviroment, home, family and other pets are taken into consideration, when she formulates a training plan to meet your needs.I have witnessed Hedy  teaching basic obedience, remedies on behavioral issues, nosework, agility, service dogs and more.  Hedy is very well rounded in all facets of training and in a postive and caring way. She has dedicated her life to training. I highly recommend Hedy as a trainer you can trust her to absalutley give the best care and  education for both you the owner and your dog.  Her love and understanding of all dogs, regardless of breed, age or behavior, sets her apart from other trainers and is easily judged by the positive results she gets. We miss Hedy  here in Califirnia but she has another calling  in New York . If you are fortunate enough to to have  Hedy  as your trainer you truly will be amazed at how educated and experienced Hedy is in her field. I’m normally not one to bash a business, however I have to give people a warning. We had our dog booked at North County Canine for 2 nights. My husband specifically talked to them and booked our dog for today 6/29-7/01 plus we prepaid a deposit, they said we’d be able to drop him off beginning at 0800. We’ll we get there 0830 heading out of town and it’s completely dark and absolutely no one in the building. Sign on the building says “no daycare 29th and 30th” Called multiple times with no response.Edit in response to the owner reply. We were told we could drop off as early as 0800. We were in the parking lot for nearly 30 minutes while trying to find alternative care. The building was completely dark and locked up, no note if any kind saying “be back soon” or the like. We made multiple phone calls with zero response back. If they were out of the office for only 10 minutes I’m sure they would have responded to our voicemails. While we are completely understanding of last minute emergencies we feel as we were left with no choice but to leave.

It was very dirty, the smell alone almost knocked me off my feet, dogs running around in one big room, staff was very unknowledgeable and couldn't answer any of my questions. The entrance was filthy and looks like it was never cleaned or sanitized. Horrible horrible place. Don't understand how people can even leave their loving pet in a place like that. I'd be very surprised if any dog didn't get sick from being in there.. NO THANK YOU...

My dog came home with terrible diarrhea and a skin infection. They think nothing of giving your pet cheap garbage outside It's normal diet. We will never go back.
