Love the natural/organic section and its placement right next to produce. I don't have to go through the rest of the store 80% of the time. I only wish there were some organic options for butter, cheese, and some other dairy. Organic dairy is hard to find anywhere in northern Jefferson County. I also wish there were some organic NY apples -- I don't buy the fujis and galas and really prefer NY apples like macintosh and empire. Hannaford's has a great variety of apples, just need some that are both organic and NY varieties! This has always been my favorite grocery store in the area (Cape Vincent to Gouverneur to Lowville).

Really disappointed. I usually like shopping here as it is one of the best grocery stores in Watertown, but lately their service has gotten worse and worse. Their shelves aren't getting restocked often, and customer employee interactions are pretty rough as well. I'll update my review if I notice any difference over the next few months, but it's becoming kind of gross to shop here. Attached are a photo of some moldy English muffins. Literally couldn't buy any bread products as they were all expired and/or moldy.

It was a slow night in the store and I was with a disabled person in a scooter. When we got to the registers, the person in front of us had a rather large cart. The gentleman who was cashiering asked her if she minded waiting, and he was kind enough to open a second register for my disabled person who only had one item. The customer was very kind as well. Found everything we need very quickly and the service was amazing!

I’m very disappointed with this place. I went away for a years and returned to find their baked goods section shrank by 80%, their muffins are a total rip off price wise and size! They’re half the size they used to be. Also their selection they used to carry just isn’t there. However they have no problem pushing beer in aisle after aisle. I’m never going back. Aldis, Price Choppers and Walmart are all much better choices

I love this store. I didn't even know it existed til recently. Me and my sister went and it's so organized and quaint. Prices aren't bad but give or take equal to price chopper or Walmart. Nice selection and quiet. Never going to price chopper again! Lol

My family is vegan and have gluten allergies this store has quality food at a price in my budget. After negitive experience with Walmart and tired of shopping and many diffent stores I just shop here becouse of quality price and affordability. I got a months worth of groceries for 307 for my family of 4.

This is THE best grocery store in Watertown. Every single department is clean, well stocked and orderly. The employees are the best in the business as far as I’m concerned. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable and still very professional. I refuse to shop anywhere else. Ever.

1st time ever shopping at this location...WOW. Please tell me why I do not have such a location in NJ? Great prices on protein (chicken, pork and meat) The meat prices were so good I plan on buying a cooler to bring like 10 to 15 lbs home.

Love this store, it's our go to store in Watertown. The selection is great, and they have the widest variety of gluten free options I've ever seen in a chain. The employees are very friendly and keep the place very clean and well stocked.

First time in this grocery store. I am an Army Veteran with a service dog. The staff was extremely helpful with me finding what I was looking for since I was not familiar with the store. Even though my service dog is well trained, it was the first time when she stopped while I browsed the shelves she laid down and crossed her front paws. This means she is not stressed nor feels that I'm stressed. This will be the store I will always shop going forward. Thank you Hannaford for giving us a great experience.

Great fresh breads. Very good meats. Lots of friendly help. WIFI !UPDATE. 1-3-22.Great experience. Young lady with nice colored hair was pleasant as was the young lady that helped bag groceries It was obvious they were sincere when asking if I found what I was shopping for. Hannaford is lucky to have help dedicated to their work. I will shop there again and again. Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR to both young women and all the other employees and management !!

Best produce you’re going to find around town besides farmers markets. The prices seem to be comparable to the big store across the street but the quality is vastly better. I’m very satisfied with the selection. Staff is friendly and efficient. They have actual humans that ring up your groceries too! What an idea! This is my family’s go to week after week.

Pretty cool place that sells some stuff I like to categorize as "groceries" which I know weird word right? But if you think about it it exactly explains what they sell ya know? Grocery items I thought it was pretty crafty of an idea that I probably made up to call that it would get higher stars if it didn't smell like nuts so much. I only buy nuts during the holidays so it's no exactly a nice smell year round

I had never shopped at a Hannaford Supermarket. So I was surprised by the goods and the great prices at this grocery. We were out of state on a job and needed supplies and we could not have found a better grocery. Really wish we had this store in Virginia!!!

I have not been this angry and repulsed with a grocery store in my life. This visit required 3 visits and disputes with staff members to finally resolve all the issues. It started yesterday when I came in to stop for dinner, breakfast and other grocery items. I came through the line and the lady was rushing me through. Before I could even take my card out of the machine she was already on to the next person. I asked her if I only had the three bags. She rushed me out in a rude tone saying "yes yes!" I got home and sure enough all the meat items we're still there. I called back only to find out they put it all back up on the shelves to be sold again! The response I got was "There's nothing we can do about it. We can't just leave it out!" At this point I'm raging because dinner should had been already on the table and I have to waste my gas money to drive clear across town to fix there mistake. When I got there the manager was nice helpful and gave me my items and a small amount on a gift card (which is the only reason I'm not giving this a one star review). I got home put everything in the fridge and made dinner. However the next day, when I just opened the ham (the breakfast item I bought) it was all slime. I put it back in the fridge and called again after work, but when I got there there were only MORE problems! One manager said I could exchange it for another item or get cash back, so I didn't have to wait for 7-10 business days to go on my card and fix THEIR mistake, but when a cashier was doing it, another woman (I assume a different manager) lit right into her and was rude with me. The one girl got nervous and made it sound like I left them ham out and it went bad (even though it came to me this way) and the woman getting on to the cashier started debating with me over it. Finally, she gave me cash and I just walked out. Don't shop there if you want to be treated with dignity and to be sure that your meat is going to be fresh!

Helpful staff. Offer a nice selection of gluten free. Watch prices, some are high. Really like that you don't have to hassle with a rewards program. Sale is SALE, no extra card, no manager override, no let me search for your phone number, everyone gets the sale price.

It's an ok place but expect to go to another store to find what you want. Don't go to the bakery. They somehow manage to devoid all pastries of flavor. You're better off buying a box cake. Pretty sure they make their cakes with water and expired sugar. JFC.

Lots of choices and organic items. Excellent meat, veggies, deli foods. Clean store, wide aisles. The store personnel are friendly and always nice. It also has the most economical prices, and you do not have to bother with a store card to get Low prices. Love their breads, and their pastries are the best in Watertown. This is where I do the majority of my grocery shopping. I also see many Canadians shopping there, and they know the best places to shop.
